Ken and his crew at Exterior Improvements absolutely crushed it on our roof in Spotswood. From start to finish, the whole experience was top-notch. Ken’s customer service was aces — incredibly responsive, very transparent about everything, and he made the entire process smooth and stress-free. The team showed up on time, worked efficiently, and the quality of the work was excellent. You can tell they take pride in what they do. The pricing was very reasonable, and Ken was upfront and honest the entire time, which is something you don’t always find with contractors. If you’re looking for roofing work or exterior projects done right, Ken and the crew at Exterior Improvements are one of the best teams around. Awesome to work with and I’d recommend them to anyone in Spotswood or the surrounding area.

Run away from this company as fast as you can. They will take your deposit, cash it immediately, and suddenly go missing. They will not schedule your roof, they will not answer your calls or texts. The level of harassment and chasing you will have to do for months will not be worth anything. Your roof could have been done 5x by 5 different companies before you get some generic nonsense response. But do not forget, your 7k deposit would have already been cashed. Read the negative reviews here very closely, they are trying to hide them and providing a nonsense response to anything negative. Have never dealt with a company like this. Sean the sales rep is just that, great at sales and will not follow through. Once they have your deposit you’re done for. The owner Ken needs his company taken away. He is beyond negligent. Filing an official complaint with the New Jersey Division of consumer affairs and initiating legal action to receive our deposit back. Once again. BEWARE. They will respond to any negative reviews with a contact number that will do nothing for you. Do not give this company a dime. What a scam of a business.

Working with Exterior Improvements was an extremely positive experience. Their representative was courteous and available at all times, including evenings and weekends. The subcontractors they used (roofing, metal fabrication and installation and solar) were of the highest caliber. They were professional and easy to deal with. They worked diligently and their work was high quality. I would gladly use each of the subcontractors individually for work in the future. Ken at Exterior was available and strove to make sure the work was meeting expectations. I would wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone who needs work of this nature.

I had a great experience working with Sean !! He is very experienced and gave really professional advice throughout the whole process. He was also very patient in explaining all the details and answering my questions. He came to my house twice to provide quotes and made sure everything was clear before I made any decisions. The pricing was also very fair and reasonable compared to others I checked. If you’re looking for a company with honest pricing and reliable service to replace your windows, Exterior Improvements is definitely a top choice.

Exterior Improvements handled my roof like a champ! I was so incredibly stressed after a storm damaged my siding and roof. They made the process seamless and I couldn't be more thankful! I highly recommend-their care and intention to detail were so incredibly transformational.
