I told him multiple times it was not in our budget but we would not take no for an answer. He finally left, then after a few minutes rang my doorbell again. He then asked me to come outside to show me parts of my trim that he recommended replacing. This was 2 hours after the quality was determined to be acceptable.”

“*** For the gutter job, I had to call many times - 8, I believe - to get someone to return and fix the job that was done. When the appointment was finally made, they did not arrive which meant more phone calls. When finally they arrived, a different crew that originally did the work, they did the best they could to fix the problem but it still looks lousy.”

“Quality products. Lack of follow up post completion. Had a quality assurance appointment after day 1, basically to sell us windows. Then no quality assurance appointment after the project.”
“Supposed quality check turned into a pressured sales tactic and I felt pushed into an agreement that wasn't favorable after all the number crunching and "special discounts" for this and that. They weren't discounts when I was able to run through the pricing on my own and at a speed I could grasp everything. Yep, I know I agreed to it in the end, and that's on me. I just think you have really good salesmen that can talk their way into getting the customer to agree with just about anything. Just left me with a bad taste in my mouth in the end. I mean $15000 for gutters is way over what a really good gutter would typically run. Wouldn't you agree? I would not recommend a friend to get taken advantage of.”

“I had a mixed experience. The quality of the product is certainly good. But my experiences with being upsold regarding a radiant barrier left a bad taste in my mouth about Power. I can understand that the agent I worked with believed there was a problem and believed in Power’s solution, but the sales tactics used felt very uncomfortable looking back on it. So while everyone was very helpful, I don’t know if I feel like I could in confidence guarantee a fair experience for someone I would recommend to.”

“We have done business with Power twice. We found them at a Home Event. The seller who came to our home stayed for 4 plus hours so he could get a sale. He would not take no for an answer and kept returning with other lower offers. First were our windows, which was done in 2 parts. The second project was our front door. The quality of the work and product were great. With the second round of windows, the workers left a bit of a mess. After the installation is complete there is a quality inspector that comes and they seem to also need to add that they are also salesman, because before they leave they try selling another project. They mention they are not commissioned like the initial sellers and that they are salaried, but yet they are still trying to sell another product and try to lower the current project cost with the possible new project cost. Clearly, some tactic here and should just be done all at the beginning. The problem we had was that after the windows were complete ( the very first set) we found a split in our wall. When we had an opportunity to contact about the concern, the issue was resolved by requesting pictures and getting opinions of a group of workers. They call one of us to state the issue would not be resolved and it was not the company’s fault and then a voicemail was left on the other spouse’s phone. There was no one that actually physically came out to check the issue, which shows a problem with the customer service after a project is done. There are multiple workers throughout the metroplex that someone could have came out for a few minutes to check it out.”
“I don't love the "sign today at this price" approach. It feels like a lot of pressure to make such a costly decision. Although effective, the door-to-door salesman tactic really is intrusive. I really hope that someone will address the appearance issues I have instead of letting them go with no solution.”
