Although we did not have any work completed by G. Fedale, we were extremely impressed with the professionalism, honesty, and transparency of the technician who came out for the free estimate. Kyle took the time to explain what he would be assessing, performed a thorough inspection of our roof, and clearly reviewed all of his findings afterward. Unfortunately, the area requiring repair is located beneath our solar panels, which prevented us from moving forward with G. Fedale for the repair itself. Even so, we greatly appreciated Kyle’s candid assessment and the valuable guidance he provided on how to proceed. His honesty and willingness to help, despite not gaining our business, left a very positive impression. We would definitely recommend G. Fedale based on this experience.

Very happy with the service with this company. Got five other estimates before finding G Fidale. We got a quality job at a good price. That's all you can ask. But hard to find. Clay was wonderful to work with. He's a super nice guy and very professional. Which is refreshing nowadays. We are a little picky and he was always patient prompt and polite. I came into our project with many questions about our roof replacement, weather damage and working with the insurance company. Evan was amazing to work with! He was knowledgeable, responsive, and a wonderful advocate. He was able to give me clear direction on the process and walked with me every step of the way. Not only did he effectively document the damage, but he worked with the appraiser and engineer that were sent by the insurance company. He also handled the project with integrity which gave me a great deal of confidence. His persistence and organization kept the project moving forward even when obstacles seemed to arise. We are very pleased with how the project went, and working with Evan gave us a high degree of confidence in working with G. Fedale as our contractor. Thank you!

I cant recommend this firm enough, I somewhat randomly picked G Fedale on a search for three vendors who was certified by GAF. My initial experience with Evan Taylor was so straight forward and honest. He identified some issues that we were able capitalize on to make the project very financially rewarding. The team in the office, including Ilia, were so welcoming and informative. The installation lead by Clay Carney was executed efficiently and he was always available to answer my questions. Roof replacement is a messy job and high winds and rain don't make it any easier. I appreciated the teams focus of clean up to ensure all debris and especially nails were captured. Roof, gutters and facia covering look fantastic. Well done!

"The roof itself is great and the workers did a great job. Clean up wasn't so good, I had to borrow a rolling magnet to clean up about 100 nails. A gutter was installed that I didn't want due to communication breakdowns and landscape lighting was broken. On a positive note they did take the extra gutter off of my bill (but one I will have trouble cleaning and why I didn't want it) and they also took the cost of lights and install off but now I have to get them fixed. Dumpster was there a long time in street in front of house."

"Their price was competitive, but I felt I would get a bit more for my buck with G. Fedale, so I picked them. I am very pleased that I did. The whole team was like a well-oiled machine. They showed up on time and got set up and started with removal of the old roof. All of the materials, dumpster, etc. came shortly after. They found an issue with some of the structure around the roof, and fixed it without issue at a more than reasonable cost. They easily got the job done in one day. Afterward, each member of the team went around the house with a big magnet thing cleaning up nails and debris. At the end, Rob Orwig (project manager) came to my house for the final inspection. He spent an hour or so replacing a shingle, on the back of the house, that had a smear of tar on it. It was minor, cosmetic, and inconspicuous, but he took the time, at the end of a long day, to fix it. All in all it was as pleasant of an experience as one can have with a project of this scale."

"I have no quarrel with the people who came to do the work. G. Fedale Roofing and Siding required an excess amount of follow-up and did not meet the timing they said they were going to meet. Sometimes they just did not show up. The people in the office seem very cordial and conscientious. I think where communication was lacking was with the project manager, Rhall. Apparently, he was not available, overbooked, or did not communicate that people in the office even stated they were waiting to hear back from him. He would appear to be the nexus of most of my dissatisfaction with G. Fedale Roofing and Siding."

"We would recommend G. Fedale to anyone looking for roofing and/or siding work on their home. Our project was a complete roofing and siding overhaul. It included new windows, doors, siding, trim, gutters and a roof on our home and detached garage. The process began with Mike visiting our home and emailing us design images/ renderings the same day! He was knowledgeable about the products and materials. He also made recommendations to help us stay within our budget while accomplishing the aesthetic we were going for. We met our project manager, Justin, at our pre-job meeting. From that point on he was always communicating with us and answering questions. There were a few things that came up during the project and Justin always had immediate answers and solutions. Once the construction began, Rob was on site daily. He was sending photos and giving updates while we were at work! The workmanship was extremely satisfactory and it was obvious from the start that the installation crews have many projects under their belt! We had been discussing this project for many years because we didn't know which direction to go in. We are very happy we used G. Fedale. Now our two year old daughter says when we pull into the driveway, "it's so beautiful!""

The PM did offer to clean it up with a broom days after the job was completed but the job would not have been able to be done with a broom, a shop vac was required and a few of my items were damaged from the debris. They did give me a little discount for the damage considering this was not mentioned in the contract that debris could leak into my attic; which I did appreciate the discount."

"Besides being one of the only roofing companies on the eastern shore of Maryland that does both slate and copper, they also do excellent work. Our church has an ongoing contract with them to do yearly inspections as well as any necessary repair. After their first time working on our roof, there have been no leaks into the interior walls; after years of having regular breakthroughs. As a result, we were able to have the interior of the sanctuary painted without worrying about the new paint getting washed away."

"The job took months longer to stary than originally quoted. Windows installed were the wrong color, and the finish work for the windows was sloppy. The window sills actually looked worse afterwards than they did before installation. When the windows were later reinstalled with the correct color, the new guy did a great job."
