If there was anything else we needed to have repaired while they were here, they would take the time to look at it and discus what needed to be done.”

“I've had to have them out here two or three times because it wasn't done right. It was leaking. The pipe was broke. They had to glue it together when the man put the sheet rock up. He discovered it and had to fix the pipe for me. I had him take a picture so they would know. I liked the people, but they were training new people, and they had to leave them for a few minutes to go do their part. They didn't leave the property. They had to leave the person to do another part of my house, and when they did that, the new guy probably did what they could. They have it on record because I called it.”

“Overpriced and didn't show up when scheduled”
“They were expensive. I had to have them to come back twice, the second time with a supervisor because the work the first time was rather sloppy.”
“Communication started of great, then I had to keep calling to get a response. They charged for the work before they had even started. There was a leak at the shut off they installed behind washer that we found after a week, also a leak at the new hot water heater. They left old pipes under the house. Did not contact us in regards to a final inspection. Cuts in sheetrock where terrible, and did not clean up pieces of sheetrock and debris left between beams in bathroom.”

“I had new water pipes installed to the kitchen, ordered two bathroom sinks, and a tank-less water heater put in. Overall the workers were very efficient, and fast. So fast that they forgot a sink and I had to call to have them return to install the sink. The fixtures in the sink that was installed was loose and had to have them return to tighten it when they came back with the missing sink. The shower fixtures in both bathrooms were loose after they cut through the wall to access the pipes. At the very beginning I let their office know that the bill would be paid by the Trust which purchased the home. This was understood. At the end of the job, they demanded immediate payment. I provided the information to the attorney who would send them the payment due, (over $15,000), and they provided the information where and to whom to send it. They accidentally gave me the wrong information so the check was returned. I received a call from one of the supervisors/manager of Hart's who threatened me with potential legal action if I didn't pay immediately. After some time they discovered that they had not given me the correct address but never apologized for what I deemed was rude behavior at the very least. When a local contractor came to replace the kitchen floor he found a clamp/vise still attach to a pipe. All these things left me in a position to never recommend Hart's to anyone. I hesitated to say anything because the regular workers were extremely polite and worked very hard. The job supervisor keep me informed as to the process and reasoning for certain aspects to the overall project. Someone did not check the job after it was done to make sure it had all been completed, and when I called to complain they acted like they were doing me a favor to bring a sink that had been ordered. The only reason I gave them two stars instead of one is because the workers deserved credit for their attitude and work ethics.”

“Harts Services did a really good job but I'm 77 years old and they charged me $4,000. I bought the tub myself. I thought they did a great job but they sent a too many people and th eprice was too high. I bought the sink myself and all they had to do was attach them to drains. They sent 4 people out and spent 4 hours so that's about $1,000 a man to attach a tub and a sink. They did add some kind of a drain but for me to buy the equipment it was still too high. My children were mad at me because they said I was being taken advantage of.”
