I engaged Ned's to wash the siding on my house, a service they provide. While the customer service people are excellent,and the cleaning team that arrived to do the work was indeed efficient, the job was not completed and follow up was disappointing. A large streak of unwashed siding was obvious at the back of the house, in a visible location over the back door. I called them to come back and clean this area. They had already charged me for the full job at that point. But they did not come back to clean the area of siding that they'd skipped. The timeline of their inaction is relevant I think, I contracted with them over two months ago. They did the cleaning soon after working around our schedule, which was good, but they did not clean all of the siding. Most noticeably, areas of the siding had not been cleaned over the back yard window visible from the patio and back yard, a prominent spot. I called them to come back and do that portion of the work again to finish the job properly. I had to call a second time. Then last week I got a notice that the crew was on their way. They did not arrive. The job still remains unfinished. I'm disappointed and caution against using this company.

They did a great job on cleaning my gutters, but after observation they needed replacing. And they offered a price to replace, but I still had to pay for cleaning. Should have been an option if after cleaning, your gutters need replacing, you don’t have to pay for your cleaning. And by the way, they don’t give ample time to say they coming out, it’s like we will be there in 3 minutes plus/minus, no scheduling.

This is the first time I’ve used this company. They replaced gutters on the front of my home. They were very professional and knowledgeable, arrived on time and installed quickly. I liked the workers. I have this company booked for a fall gutter clean out as well. So far, this looks to be a long term relationship, I am happy to write. I would recommend them highly. The end product looks great!

Bottom line: I just couldn’t get them to show up and when they finally did, they quit before they started. “Ned’s Home Service” sounds like a local guy doing odd jobs. It’s not. It’s in 20 states. And apparently they’re too big to keep track of their jobs. I called in early April for a drier vent cleaning, letting them know just where the vent was and warning them that there would be work done on my porch so they might want to wait till May. May rolls around and they haven’t come so I call and speak with their “virtual assistant” (must be AI: she sounds great but that doesn’t mean she gets anything done). Another week passes, no visit and no word so I call to cancel. A really nice human being answers and he’s apologetic and promises someone will come this morning. He even knocks $50 off. So I say “sure” and “thanks” and “I look forward to tomorrow.” When they vine by, I’m not home but my wife sees them at the back of the house (Id told them where the vent is not apparently Ned’s is too big to keep track). She tells them it’s the front and they leave after a couple of minutes. I call when I’m back: they couldn’t find the vent. My theory? It was raining so they didn’t even look. No footprints in the mud aside the porch. All they had to do was move the 4’x8’ panel which 100% of houses here have enclosing the under-porch. My advice, call someone truly local, someone who will show up.

I had a gutter replaced by the two of the nicest Roberts I have ever met. They took time to answer my questions and, then, got right to work. They were efficient and knowledgeable. It was suggested that I get my gutters cleaned and that their company could do that. I was very pleased and will use them again.
