I employed Aquaguard to address my driveway cracking, movement, and water erosion. The Field Inspector Whitt Burcham stressed how they prided themselves on getting the project done right and they were like "family". Whitt walked my property with me and showed me areas that needed to be addressed. My project started with a "no show" by the crew without any updates. I left work early so had to return to work by the time they said they could arrive. They gave me a hassle to reschedule. When they came for the second date they again did not call ahead or confirm arrival time, leaving me scrambling to get home. The crew that arrived from the beginning of my project stated they are "separate" from the initial inspector and could not support all that was said by him in regards to my project. By the time my project was complete I was left under satisfied with the outcome. I was then told that if I wanted them to do anything else, I would have to sign a "waiver" of liability. When I contacted Whitt back to try to remedy, I was essentially told he was no longer involved and the crew onsite is now in charge. After the crew left, within 3 days there was at least 2 substantial cracks in my driveway leading to one corner being held on by nothing but the epoxy they applied. Additionally the epoxy they placed in between slabs had cured and left deep pockets where water now pools as well as sediment and debris. I reached back out to Whitt on the cellphone number he provided initially and have yet to get any response at all. I then called Aquaguard on 9/30/25 as the crew stated to call for any problems and they would be out to fix. I was told by scheduler that they would have to reschedule that crew because "they already won't get paid again" and "they wont pay a different crew" and it would be 3-4 weeks. I requested a sooner date and a call from supervisor. I received no call. I called again on 10/2/25 with the same request. No call. I called again today 10/6/25, and have yet to speak to anyone who can help me with my situation. I regret using this company at all.

Adrian provided outstanding customer service from start to finish. He came out to assess our porch for concrete lifting and took the time to thoroughly explain the process, the root cause of the issue, and what our best options were. What really stood out was his professionalism and transparency. He didn’t rush the visit, answered all of our questions, and made sure we fully understood what to expect. His feedback was honest, detailed, and solution-focused — which gave us a lot of confidence moving forward. It’s rare to find someone who combines technical knowledge with genuine customer care, but Adrian definitely delivered on both. If you’re looking for someone reliable, knowledgeable, and customer-focused for concrete lifting services, I highly recommend him.

Adrian came out on a Saturday, and he showed up on time. Extremely knowledgeable! He walked around the inside and outside of our property and did a thorough inspection, then sat down and went through every option with us. Communication was top notch. We had Adrian Haynes out this week to assess some water intrusion in our basement, and we couldn't be more impressed. He was incredibly thorough and transparent about the entire waterproofing process. Dealing with water issues is stressful, but Adrian’s deep knowledge was very comforting to my family and me. A month later when I had the exterior painted, the painter showed me the fascia was clearly rotted. They had to remove the new gutters and replace the board which cost me more in labor and should have been replaced by AquaGuard. Was expecting more honesty and integrity based on their ads."

"The task was to level a two car garage slab with center post between the two doors. That center post needed a helical pile and the slab leveled with an almost 2” lift at the center, garage door side. Ten months later the slab is stable with no movement. I had another company pour a new driveway, the alignment between the garage slab and driveway is the same as the day the project was done. The project took a day to do, really six hours altogether. I have a bedroom overtop the garage, the center post lift cracked open some drywall joints, but I fully expected that, patching it was my task and easily done. I should say that while my slab was quite depressed, it was fully intact, no cracks. The lift did generate some hairline cracks, but once I painted the slab, none were seen. Overall very happy."

"We asked for them to make the basement stop leaking: no more leaks. We were quoted two solutions. After the work was done, we still had leaks. It turns out, the job we chose only guaranteed to stop leaks from the spots where they did work, which is almost completely useless and not at all the work we needed. It would nice to ask an expert “how do we make the basement stop leaking” and receive competent answers to that question. Aquaguard isn’t that kind of expert. They drill concrete and fill it in like champions. It may or may not prevent water from coming in your basement."

"I would not recommend Aquaguard. We had two separate projects done, both of which were not completed successfully. Our piering was aborted for technical reasons on one corner of the house. Our project manager was not even aware of this from the crew. Our gutters were placed in an unsightly location outside a large picture window. After many phone calls and time this was corrected. However we have major leaking at 3 of our downspouts which is causing large pools of water to form beside our foundation walls that arguably are creating a worse problem than when we began. We have been unsuccessful in getting someone to come out and resolve this and the representative was scheduled to meet with us today and didn't show up. I had taken off work to be there. We are very dissatisfied with the apparent lack of respect for the customer after the check for the work was paid."

"I am unhappy with the work. I felt stuck with it since we had already financed. We basically paid $7500+ for 2 I beams, 6 jacks, and two workers for 6 hours. The floor did not get even close to level. When they were cranking one of the floor jacks the floor joist broke which I had to replace. Since none of the rest of the joists were level I replaced those too. when I pulled up the old joists to actually get the floor level, the jacks fell over and I beam fell to the ground. they were not secured down with bolts or anything else to the footers. I have pictures of all of this... so if my house started leaning these jacks and the I beam could have just fell over with the house. I am not sure why holes were not drilled and bolts put in to ground the jacks to the footers to actually secure the structure of the house. If I had seen that they were not attached to the footers I would have said something, but they were working at the house while I was not home for a few hours. I guess most people don't ever realize because they don't try to fix the work that was done. I wish I had never called AquaGuard because I had to redo all the work anyway."

I told them I was in a time crunch because we were painting the cement basement walls to move in furniture but they never came. They are expensive but slow or nonexistent in getting work done. They totally dropped the ball."

"There are areas of the company that are excellent, but there are other areas where they are not. I don’t want to disadvantage, or use a wide brush, to say everything is negative when everything is not negative. However, there were some serious problems that I had to go through, and I don’t think it got the kind of support and recognition that it needed. Overall, I’m not pleased. The major problem was the scheduling. I had no issue with the individuals that came out to do the work, and they were pleasant and professional. They came when they said they were going to come. I don’t want this to reflect on the people that came out to do the work, but I was disappointed that I was not given greater consideration for scheduling people to come out to deal with my problem. Especially because I told them my house was on the market. I don’t think I got that kind of consideration. I know they have a process, and they try to accommodate people that are on the market, and I don’t think I got that consideration. I also had explained to them clearly that I have a sister in hospice in Alabama. I told them I have had it on the calendar for a very long time to go relieve my niece, who is her caregiver. It was the last week of June, and I said I really needed this work done for those reasons. I told them I needed to get to Alabama at a certain time because I have a commitment. But then, I couldn’t get anyone out to do the work. I couldn’t leave the house with it raining and water going everywhere, so I had to find someone to go to Alabama instead of me. I had to spend hundreds of more dollars to arrange that, and it was all because I couldn’t get someone from the company to come out to do the work. I was so frustrated. I finally got a hold of a manager named Al. He promised me that he would look into it, and he did. That is why it is hard to give a rating for this statement. He did respond, and he got someone out on a Saturday. I think it was July 7th. However, there was another issue that cost me money during this process. I didn’t mention it to them early on, because taking care of my sister was my priority at that time, but I missed my high school reunion that I had paid for and planned on being there for. Had they responded to my need to be there for my sister, I would have also been able to be at the reunion. Al did send someone out, and they did an extensive repair, and that was fine. That was Saturday. However, on Saturday night I went downstairs to take pictures of the wall before they came out to repair the wall, and I realized there was water in the floor in the bathroom adjacent to where they had done the work. I assumed they disconnected the dishwasher, and maybe it was water in that hose. The worker and I had put the hose back into place. I cleaned it up, but when I went down Sunday before church, there was water there again. I knew it wasn’t the hose then. I called the foreman again, and told him that there was water there again, and that I think when they were jackhammering it loosened a seal somewhere in the bathroom. He said he would try to get someone out no later than Wednesday. I was okay with that, but then Wednesday came and nobody came out. Meanwhile, on Sunday a week ago, I got a call at 2:00 a.m. that my daughter was taken to the emergency room in Alabama. I was dealing with all of that, and I didn’t know if I had to leave town, and the foreman said he would have someone out no later than Wednesday. Nobody came. Nobody called. Then, a week later I called in. The water had been cut off in the bathroom by the man doing the walls, so there was no more leak. The foreman apologized to me when I called, and he said he had been out of town with a family emergency. He said they would get someone ou soon. Meanwhile, I had a problem where the alarm on the sump pump system went off at 4:45 a.m. They sent someone out, and he looked at the alarm system, and he couldn’t figure out why it went off. I asked about the leak in the bathroom, and he said he would also be able to get that done at the same time. However, when the lady called to confirm the appointment, and I asked about the leak issue, she didn’t know anything about it. When the foreman called to make sure that lady had called to confirm the appointment, I asked him about the leak also. He said they could get it done at the same time. Then, when the man got here to do the work, he had no idea he was supposed to look at the leak, and he told me he has no expertise in that area. I am frustrated. The latest man that came out did try to look, but I had asked the foreman if I should turn the water back on, and he told me no. He said they would do that when they came. The man turned the water on, and we didn’t see any leaks at that point. I don’t know what the issue was, but I do know there was no leak before this work was done. The day the work was finished, the leak started. I just have to wait and see if it comes back. Some people have responded during this process, but the timeframe isn’t at all what I expected. I did my research, and I looked at their reviews, and they do come highly recommended. I have to say, though, my experience isn’t representative of what I have read about as their basic experience. I was so upset that I couldn’t maintain my commitment to my sister."

They said that it would not. It barely sheds any water away. It is completely cracked down the middle. They said that there is a risk, however, that is was rare. When the guy came out he said that it happens all the time. It is now safer, however, it does not look great cosmetically. If I were to need this done again in the future, I could try another company and see if they could do anything better."
