"Our initial point of contact was exceptional as the team and my spouse and I navigated project-concepts and affordability. When our original design plans were first delayed, then impeded by the town’s building inspector, we revisited the original design and everyone at Capital Construction pitched in to create something beautiful in accord with our budget and vision. Demo started on time as did construction. Workmanship and expertise blew us away. Additionally, worksite remained safe and our build-team tirelessly cleaned everything prior to departure each day. They added extra time and days when weather caused delays. Response to inquiries, our interest in design adjustments were tended immediately with stellar result. We are beyond happy with our beautiful decks, as well as policy to return asap should we find anything amiss. Which we have not."

"Job completed in October. In December, parts were see to have fallen off. Support pieces under the bottom horizontal rails and the collars around the posts (where the post meets the decking) broken and falling off. Called Dec. 18, was told "a crew will there tomorrow". Currently Jan 6, no crew, no call or update. Having the deck falling apart after only 2 months is very disappointing considering the price we paid. We understand it's winter, and we understand scheduling is a challenge, but a phone call with accurate information and updates when changes happen is what we expect."

"It was quick. They respected my method of communication at the initial scheduling ( I hate phone calls. I do not talk on the phone unless I absolutely need to). They handled all of the paperwork, permits, etc. They checked in frequently. Jay even responded while he was on vacation (I didnt know he was in vacation when I messaged him.) John checked in frequently via email which is how I would prefer it, and when extra materials were left he personally collected them so they were no longer in the way. I have given their information to my coworkers who are looking for their porch to be redone."

"From the moment their salesperson Mike Bettencourt contacted me I knew the company was a decent one. I didn't feel pressured at all. We met with him; he showed us everything that would be put on our roof and explained why. Then gave us the price and we nearly choked. BUT in all fairness, we had no idea what it would cost. Our neighbor told us what his cost but that was 6-7 years ago. Costs have changed since then so we knew it seemed fair, plus we needed a skylight replaced. Our roof was original to our home, and it was leaking. We told him our most important factors, and this company met each one. They communicated every step of the way. When things were done, they didn't just walk away. We got 2 phone call making sure we completely satisfied with the work. My husband and I are 1000% satisfied with our experience with this company and if we ever needed anything done that is in their line would definitely call them first. They are fair and highly skilled."

"I was not at the site - my contractor and property management company were. The lockbox was broken at least once. The port-a-john was left unlocked and open to (and experienced) unwelcome guests. It also took longer to remove than I was told. Thge final product was very good and the building looks great. But at times - including the endless phonecalls and emails to fill out this survey which I really do not like filling out generally - I felt that the company was aggressive and pushy. Everyone I spoke to was pleasant and efficient, but I just think if aa customer does nto want to fill out a survey, you should just leave it alone."

"No. In fact, I have warned numerous neighbors and co-workers to NOT choose Capital Construction. The work crew that did our siding was utterly inconsiderate of our property. Unlike what is stated in the contract we signed, no tarps were used. Consequently, the debris, nails, drop off, trash, sharp pieces of cut aluminum etc were absolutely everywhere. There was so much debris that we are still picking it up today -literally we were just outside doing it- and the job was finished 4 weeks ago. I think we will be finding nails and screws for a long time. Also in regards to the nails, both our PM, Anthony, and sales rep, Tesla, repeatedly told us that they would appreciate it if we didn't ever mention the nails when writing reviews. I am still flabbergasted that they both had the nerve to actually ask that of me."

"As the property manager, I was in need of a roof replacement at a high end property in the Back Bay area of Boston. It was a complex roof replacement, as there are 22 hvac condensers and 2 decks with electric components. After receiving several proposals, we choose Capitol Construction for the roof replacement. Their proposal was very professional and through. I conducted several walk throughs with Capitol Cont. many that included other vendors(hvac/electricians) in order to have everyone coordinated. The roof replacement was done to a very high standard. We did several walkthroughs during the 5 weeks of work to ensure everything was being doe correctly."

"They didn't communicate with me on a couple of things. I got a lot of emails and phone calls but when I was waiting for someone there was no one there. I got to the location after traveling 2 hours and the supervisor did not show up. The crew was there but none of them spoke English. I found out that the supervisor had a meeting but I was never told. Also, the porta potty has yet to be removed."

"I'm up in the air. Everyone so far has been very helpful and friendly. The roof project was fast and looked great. Our gutters look great, and our siding is getting there. However there have been some lack of communication around certain times, and fixes. Our trim didn't end up the right color on our main door in the end and we gave up because the project was going long and we knew the other color wouldnt look bad. It looks fine, but for what we are paying the promise was for a job done right. There was also our power lines tied off with a rope that has yet to be resolved. Often the crew would leave weird things behind and our dog ended up eating some chicken wings left behind, which is not ideal. Some of this is poor luck but it left us losing confidence."

I did have to call to have the dumpster removed after it sat in my driveway for about a week after the project finished, but it was removed promptly after that."
