We had a huge tree fall across the front of our house and take down our main power line late Sunday night, National Grid was forced to disconnect us until an electrician repaired the electrical damages. We called Papalia and spoke to their automated service and got us booked with them for emergency electrical service the next day. Papalia was very quick in their response and James was at our home repairing our electrical damage by 8am. Although a bit pricy, understandable given the swift emergency response. Thank you so much for your help!

The plumber who came to the house was amazing! I had a stuck shower cartridge, and he fought it like a champ! He called it the worst small job he’d ever seen… it took power tools and elbow grease, but he was able to overcome the worst corrosion from 20 years of bad water and get the job done! I am so appreciative of his hard work! Photos are before (the wedged, broken cartridge), immediately after he got it out, and after he cleaned it up! If he hadn’t been so helpful with a great attitude I would have taken off a star for their AI phone assistant, which seemed to ‘understand’ what I said well enough, but did not relay my messages.

Mike was exceptionally professional and clear with his diagnostic review. He was respectful of our home and put on booties when he arrived. He was thorough and did not waste our time. I recently bought a house and needed a lot of electrical work done before my family moved in. Our original electrical contractor fell through on short notice, so I reached out to Papalia Home Services, and I'm so glad I did. Nick came out right away and spent a lot of time walking through the house with me. We went over every update I needed: wiring, breakers, switches, outlets, and AV. He documented everything carefully on his iPad. Other contractors have left me unsure whether they captured everything, but with Papalia I never had that doubt. That walkthrough was on a Friday, and by Monday a full crew was at the house. Ian and Nick, the lead electricians, were great to work with. They listened to all my needs and concerns, laid out a clear plan, and then carried it out. They worked alongside the painters and other trades who were finishing up, coordinated smoothly with everyone, and got the job done in record time, well before our move-in deadline. Along with the core electrical work, they set up smart devices and installed new light fixtures. They also hung a very intricate, delicate chandelier with real care and skill. What really sets Papalia apart is how easy everything was beyond the electrical work. When a few small plumbing jobs came up, the office had their plumber out the next day. And when a power surge during the work damaged a component in our oil burner, they sent their heating technician to replace it without my having to ask, at no cost to me. He installed an upgraded part, so the system is better than it was before. They made it right before I even had to think about it. I can't recommend Ian, both Nicks, and the whole Papalia team enough.

Nick came out the day after we had emergency plumbing services for an urgent follow up to see what kind of repairs we would need. He spent time triaging each issue we had and went out of his way to make sure we know all our options and that we went with what was safe and as inexpensive as possible. Nick even followed up to make sure we were good with getting scheduled afterwards. Big surprise plumbing expenses are never fun but I feel better knowing I’m in good hands now and have a plan. Thank you!
