UPDATE: I was blown away by how quickly this was handled. Fred, the owner, called me first thing the very next morning and couldn’t have been nicer super down to earth, easy to talk to, and truly understanding. He immediately sent out his senior plumber to take care of everything I wanted addressed, and the work was outstanding. Between Fred’s personal attention and the excellent quality of the work, this was an all around fantastic experience. I couldn’t be happier with how the tankless hot water system turned out. Highly recommend them, thank you Fred and team. We had our HVAC and tankless unit installed by MillTown in 2020 as part of a hydronic heating system. A month ago, the commercial‑grade tank they installed failed. Rheem covered the tank under warranty, but MillTown charged $5,800 for the replacement — which was essentially a retrofit with minimal changes. After reviewing the work, it was clear the job should have been closer to $3,000 based on industry standards and actual scope. Unfortunately, the workmanship was disappointing. The system was left in a condition that doesn’t reflect professional standards — including a drain valve positioned against another pipe, making it impossible to drain the system properly. I provided photos and a detailed email to MillTown expressing these concerns. Their response was that there “wasn’t much to do,” and they offered only a $500 credit toward a future service. Given the excessive pricing and the quality of work, a credit for a future service wasn’t a reasonable solution, and I declined it. Another concern: their website offers no way to contact the owner or any managers directly. For a company that presents itself as family‑run, that lack of transparency says a lot. Overall, the experience was frustrating — from the high cost to the poor workmanship to the dismissive response. I had Patrick dispatched to my home to investigate a leaking pipe for my water heater. He diagnosed the issue right away, pointed out what else could need repair, and gave me the full information about my heater approaching its end of life. He was clear that I COULD just get patchwork service without immediate issue, but that soon I would need it replaced. After I made the decision to have the replacement done, Patrick was very helpful and friendly as we worked through financing options, and then got the installation done in just a few hours. I was very satisfied with the customer service and quality of work Patrick provided, and if he represents the standard for MillTown’s services, I couldn’t recommend them enough!

Originally called for blocked drain pipe to drywell. Took several visits to finally have them run a snake and camera. Determination was frozen pipe and they couldn't do anything about it - leaving me the customer to purchase hose to suck out standing water, blow warm air into pipe, add de-icer liquid and continue snaking the pipe on my own. Total cost was over $1800. The inside connection to the drain pipe was replaced with minimal materials. Overall, I was not satisfied with the result (drain still clogged) and the cost for work performed seems way out of proportion.

I can't thank Eric, Justin and team enough for the amazing job they did installing my new Furnace. They arrived early this morning and left this evening and we had heat! They were all very respectful and very kind. Exceptional meticulous installation! Unfortunately my hot water tank failed over night flooding my finished basement. I frantically called Milltown as soon as we realized what had happend. They were here within an hour and never left until the job was done. Milltown are my new forever plumbers. I have more jobs for them!! Thank you again!

We needed several small electrical jobs done at our home in Andover and Connor came and surveyed all the tasks in an efficient manner. He gave us a range of options for each job, along with his recommendations. He is extremely knowledgeable in the current building code and knows what to prioritize. The company delivers same day service and Connor found all the parts needed to finish all tasks in one day. He also gave us quotes on future projects, as well as a realistic timeline for getting them done. Overall , it was a pleasant experience to have a professional like Connor meet our needs.
