I love my beautiful deck! Archadeck built my custom 1200 sq ft deck exactly how I asked. They were able to engineer it to support a future sunroom. Super happy with the courteous team that did the building as well as the Archadeck folks.

I'm very glad that I chose to work with Archadeck for our front deck! Brad and Bill were responsive, clear in their communication, and clearly established project ownership/responsibility. I appreciated how rigorously they go through documentations, making sure that we are aligned at every step. There were absolutely no surprises. The crew that came out to build the deck was also professional and very skilled. I could tell that they were in close communication with Bill, so that I could feel confident that every point I had raised was being accounted for. They were also prompt in having a final walkthrough to make sure everything was up to spec, and quick to remove the extra material. Again, I really appreciated how thorough and properly the team handled the work.

We wanted our double-decker rear deck rebuilt. However we live on a "Critical Slope" so the City of Seattle was very concerned with the slope stability. Steve and Bill and the Archadeck team led me through re-engineering our original proposal's plans. They worked with the city and geo tech engineers and we pared our designs down to be within the small project footprint. Even with that, the city was still very demanding and underwent some staff turnover during our project. Steve and Bill drove the project through all of these twists and turns for months while the city went back and forth on the plans sometimes even contradicting itself! Archadeck also did a great job partnering with geotech engineers to come up with the right footing plans for our site even when the initial plans weren't feasible. In the end when we finally passed permitting, they had massive concrete footings poured within days and Brady and the deck construction crew built the deck only a few weeks, including demo of the old one, and some complicated electrical work and a last minute change on where a small staircase would go. All of this was built during the rainy season too! The couple small things I've found that needed attention have been fixed within a couple days by Brady himself. Our deck is amazing, our kids love playing out there. We're thrilled Archadeck finally helped us get through the city's redtape and built it.

We could not be happier with our new deck and outdoor fireplace. From the moment Jamison came to our home, he helped create and make our vision come to life. He was upfront, honest and knowledgeable. He always answered all my questions and even pushed this project forward knowing we had a special event coming up. Both Tim and Steve were also amazing. They were accommodating, helpful and timely. We truly appreciate all you did.

Archadeck just spent several months fixing and re-decking our lower deck and installing new railing. They have done a great job and we are now having them re-construct our upper deck, too! We started working with Archadeck many months ago as we were getting bids to replace our railing. We thought we would just need the railing done, but had also been noticing that the decking was curling and cracking in places. We had just replaced our wood decking with Timber Tek installed by a different company 5 years before at huge expense, so it was really disappointing that the deck was starting to fall apart. Steve and Bill from Archadeck spent many months helping us through the warranty process when really the only income they were guaranteed from us was the railing replacement cost. The decking seemed like it was failing because of inadequate framing when it was done 5 years before, but it was very lucky for us that Timber Tek would cover the material as we were just inside the warranty period. Long story short, we ended up using Archadeck for the railing and re-decking. They have been very professional, honest and conscientious and communication has been all around great. Bill has always been available to us for questions and concerns and it has been a true pleasure to have Teddy and Jesus onsite for so many months. How many contractors can you say that about? I can honestly say I will miss them after they finish with our upper deck. They have been sensitive and responsive to stressors (such as unplanned plumbing work which required taking up 8 or so boards they had just installed!) The finished product is elegant, level, structurally sound and beautiful. We are so excited. Archadeck is not the least expensive contractor, but as we have painfully learned, cheaper can be (much!)more expensive in the long run. We hope that after the upper deck is replaced, we will be done with deck work for many years, but would definitely recommend Archadeck as an A+ choice for decks.
