We had a great experience with Jim’s The Handyman! The technicians arrived on time, worked efficiently and carefully, and completed all of our projects beautifully, including hanging a shelf, repainting and updating our front door/weather stripping, and replacing a door lock. The entire process was polished and professional from start to finish. Communication was excellent, the team was clearly skilled and experienced, and they cleaned up thoroughly after the work was completed. We were really happy with the value and quality of the work and would absolutely use them again.

I had several home repair and furniture repair projects I'd been putting off. Jim the Handyman's team took photos and gave me a quick, fair estimate. The technicians who came to do the work were efficient, friendly, and knowledgeable, and their work was great. I definitely recommend the folks at Jim the Handyman.

My family and I have worked several times with Jim the Handyman. Their work is excellent, just top-notch in all instances we've had them come out our way. We live in Springfield, VA, found out about them in a mailer. Their estimates are free, and they always stick very close to said estimates too, once the work proceeds and gets done. In past, they've installed interior doors for us... have cleaned out gutters... have done woodwork on exterior of house... have done a full-on wood wall to support our AC unit. Please with all projects. Most recent work was in May 2026. 4 small projects, 3 outdoors and 1 indoors. Our tech Jorge was so kind and hard-working, great communication with us as he did his work. All the work done in a few hours. Very impressed. Roof work... window work... securing a handrail in foyer... quick fix of a broken gutter in a spot I couldn't get to without a huge ladder. Excellent job by Jim the Handyman! The pricing = really solid and competitive, in all instances we've worked with them, and the May 2026 instance was no exception! HIGHLY recommend this company!

Utilized this contractor to do interior painting on a 3-level staircase and bedroom. Two painters did the work. They were careful to cover the floors to avoid paint spills and splatters on the carpet and new wood flooring. They arrived timely and properly spackled and sanded the walls & nail pops prior to painting & completely the painting in a short timeframe. The job was professionally done. I was pleased with the painting work, would recommend this contractor for painting, and would hire them again.

I had an excellent experience with Jim the Handyman and their team while preparing my condo for listing. They painted the entire unit and handled a variety of repairs, including drywall patching and other small fixes throughout the condo.
