Not worth the money. The business model means you're managing the time of your handyman and spending energy / time coordinating maximizing packing things into a 'visit'. This means you have to have tasks that neatly fit into 1 hour and 45 minute intervals, or you're wasting money. That would probably be acceptable to some if the service was great and the handymen were well vetted, one of the core promises of this service. That was not the case in my experience. My first handyman spent 1.5 hours messing up mounting a TV and didn't complete the task. He later texted me asking me for photos of his work and to ask for the visit to be comped, since the amount of work completed was not really close to $200 worth of work. His successor was faster and more efficient, but hampered IMO by the business model. He spent another 1.5 hours finishing that tv mount and mounting one more mirror. My next visit was a 3 hour visit consumed by repainting the mantel under the tv mount which was messed up during the mounting (not entirely their fault, it wasn't properly painted to begin with but was also not really messed up before the tv mount attempts...), and opening a wall in my gym to check for water damage. This is where IMO the business model and weaker comms broke down and really made me question if this was worth the money. Because it was near the end of the visit, the wall was haphazardly closed and looks awful right now. I was not consulted before starting this work and had other smaller jobs on the task list for the day that were probably more appropriate for the time remaining. So all in all, after 4 visits I had: - 1 tv mounted - 1 mirror mounted - Paint messed up during the tv mount fixed - A halfway done check on wall moisture that left the wall in an ugly and unsightly state. This all added up to $600 dollars worth of work. To me that's not really adding up, ESPECIALLY because I prepaid close to 2.1K for all of this! Additionally, when I requested a call to ask for a refund, I did NOT get a call and instead had to call the support line. They cancelled my service, but now ten days later I still haven't gotten my money back. When I emailed, I got a new receipt from THEIR system just now, implying my refund wasn't processed for an entire ten days and ONLY happened now because I was vigilant and complained. So now I'm stuck waiting again for their payment processor to actually refund me a PARTIAL refund for this awful experience. What an absolute mess. Save yourself the trouble and just go find a normal handy person you can trust. They won't force you to fit tasks to preset timeslots and honestly are probably just as vetted as the service you'll get here.

Honey Homes and their handymen have been amazing. We worked with Aaron for our unit in San Francisco, and he has been exceptionally courteous, knowledgeable, and helpful. He handled several projects for us, including carefully fixing a slab on our deck that supports the hot tub, repairing lighting, and helping us disassemble a large TV console. He came fully prepared for the tasks we had shared in advance, but also didn’t hesitate to help with additional items that came up during the visit. We were really impressed by his work ethic, attention to detail, and willingness to help. Honey Homes has also been excellent with communication, and their customer support team has made the whole experience smooth and easy. I never thought I would say this about home maintenance, but we actually look forward to having Honey Homes come by to take care of all the small, annoying things that are hard to get done otherwise. It is such a relief compared with trying to find reliable providers on our own. I cannot recommend Honey Homes highly enough.

I highly recommend Honey Homes! The app was incredibly easy to use, and the whole process was seamless from start to finish. Mark was the handyman who came out, and he was efficient, professional, and very helpful. He took care of everything I needed, and made the experience stress free. I am so happy I found this service and will definitely be using them again.

I am so obsessed with Honey Homes that I made our handymen pose for a photo 😂😂 The team is so kind and proactive. We won some visits in an auction, and I love them so much that I am signing up for a membership! They get so much done every visit and are really resourceful and creative problem solvers. My husband and I have two small children and there is just no chance we are getting to any of this stuff during this season of life, so Honey Homes and Rafael are a godsend!

Handyman Francisco was excellent. He fixed our light panel and hung our mirror efficiently and professionally. His visit was very productive, and he completed all the requested home tasks without any issues. Francisco was extremely knowledgeable and also provided helpful suggestions for other improvements around the house. We especially appreciated how efficient and focused he was—his work really stood out compared to a previous visit with handyman Kern, which involved more discussion than actual progress. Francisco came prepared, got the job done, and respected our time. We would absolutely recommend him and would gladly book him again.
