Les was the Technician that came out to evaluate my home. He was a really nice guy, experienced in foundation issues. He explained what was going on and how and what they can do to lift and support the home. I chose Olshan mainly due to the Cable Lock ST Plus System that they use. I feel that is a safer and more secure option with the steel and concrete, rather than just steel. The team did a great job and cleaned up afterwards. I even had the driveway lifted. Thank you Olshan! I can sleep better at night now knowing my house wont sink anymore. Living in Buda, this whole area is having foundation issues now.

I just had Olshan Foundation Solutions come out to the house to help me identify whether or not I had a foundation issue. My technician, Jarred Peeples, is the kind of professional you hope will show up... on time, professional appearance, knowledgeable, and a great listener. Jarred took the time to understand the roundness of my flooring issue before he began the inspection, and answered my many questions in a friendly and insightful way. The office was on the ball too, and everyone I spoke with was helpful and proactive. A great experience all the way around. Thank you, Olshan.

UPDATE NOW THAT WORK IS COMPLETE: The crew had a BLANTANT disrespect for my property! Company compensated me $600 and paid for the after project plumbing inspection yet I have 2 patches in my garage where cement was jack hammered because they got “confused”, destroyed custom pathway, missing 4 landscape lights, broke retractable gate in interior of my house. The Good: 1. Foundation is better. Some cracks are not visible anymore. 2. Technician (Sara), Production Manager (Gerald), Supervisor (Alex), and office staff (Marissa/Samantha) embody the customer service Olsham’s repeatedly boasted about. These personnel are absolute amazing and did all they could to rectify the situation. The Bad: 1. My property was treated like a new build construction project. Zero regard for my property. The crew left the front door wide open during their lunch, ran a wheel barrel into the baby gate harness on the wall causing it to be stripped from the wall and damage to the wall. As we complained, the workers got worse, dragged their wheel barrels across my landscape rock walkway that did NOT interfere with with the job, tracked mud in my house from not covering their shoes, didn’t use a tamping took until my elderly mother asked them, left wide gaps between concrete walkway and landscape, moved gym mats and put them IN OUR GRASS without asking. Project manager (will) told us “it takes 7 days for grass to die” when my mom mentioned this. They discharged my garage opener without our knowledge. They had to get out of their vehicle to tell my mom they “put it in manual mode” when they saw her trying to operate the key pad. They didn’t tell us we needed to cover anything and got dust all over our garage day, Left trash in the yard after they left each day. 2.Caused a gas leak when they were putting the dirt back in. The gas flag marking were also removed by the crew (they casually stuck one back on the ground when we mentioned it) 4. Crew acted like it was an inconvenience to put wood over holes so we could walk by. They also said “no hable espanol” while laughing when we would come check on work (with the supervisor Jose/proceeded to laugh and talk in Spanish). 5. We were told there would be an English speaking supervisor on site at all Times. Jose left one day for Atleast 1.5 hours leaving no one there for us to communicate with WHILE work was still performed. 6. Project Manager (Will) told me by phone, “I will eventually make it out to your house and we can talk more” when we were identifying issues/zero control over the crew and fed into their disrespect. He didn’t explain much/bothered we refused to do a final walk through IN THE DARK WITH PHONE FLASHLIGHTS to sign off on the job. He didn’t have the crew pack the dirty down. 7. Landscape rocks were redone (after we complained to the Production Manager) yet the rocks they used to fix it no where near matched. We were shown the tocks AFTER they had already started “fixing”‘what they destroyed. I no longer wanted anything to do with this company after all the other issues so I didn’t tell them to take the wrong rocks out. The next day, I slipped and fell on the rocks because the rocks are similiar to gravel and not river rocks. My previous landscape rocks were GLUED DOWN. Again, no care. Common sense would tell you to take a rock to match it. Rocks and tiny pebbles look completed different. 8. They broke a sprinkler and told us for 3 days it would be fixed each day. When finally fixed, they tried to tell me it spraying under ground was how it was supposed to be. They finally actually fixed it after again laughing and saying “no hable espanol” about me. Work should always be up to standard… especially if it cost $100 per hole if they have to come back out to adjust your pilings after 1 year. Enjoy the pictures of the lack of professionalism (taking a lunch break laying in my yard) and the work they thought was ok. DO NOT ALLOW WILVIN OR JOSE ON YOUR PROPERTY OR CREWS ASSIGNED TO THEM.

Jared Dobbs, CST, came out and throughly inspected my property inside and out. He was very professional and nice. He explained to me that he did not find any structural damage at all. He did recommend that I get some gutters. I appreciate his honesty. I would highly recommend Olshan to anyone needing this type of service. I'm a very satisfied customer!!!

We hired Olshan to repair two exterior slabs adjacent our pool deck that had sunken/pulled away from the pool's perimeter due to improper drainage. The engineer who quoted the job was very professional and friendly. The technicians who arrived on the day of the repair were also friendly and on-time. The repair process was quick and unobtrusive to our quiet neighborhood and the technicians cleaned up after themselves. Details: One of the two slabs were successfully lifted to it's original elevation but cracked in several locations as a result of the stress. While I understand how this can happen, the technicians left these cracks untreated which will lead to issues later since we're in a freeze/thaw climate. In order to lift this large slab, they drilled several holes throughout the slab to inject foam (this was anticipated). These holes were filled with a flexible, self-leveling compound but care was not taken to avoid overfilling or color matching. As a result, our stamped and colored concrete slab now has gray dots disrupting the appearance that have a rubbery feel and vary in size and shape. The second area was directly adjacent our pool and had separated by more than an inch in several locations (see photos). The technicians used the same technique but were unable to get this slab to move at all. However, they did crack the slab in multiple locations, also leaving these cracks unaddressed. These injection holes were also filled in a similar quality (see photos). After their unsuccessful attempt to lift this slab the technician approached me to ask what I wanted to do about a particularly egregious gap that we'd hoped would close but didn't close at all. I asked him if he could fill it with the joint compound but he said that the stuff they brought wouldn't do vertical gaps and that he'd try but with a disclaimer that it could make it look worse. I then told him to leave it and that I'd deal with it myself. I then called the sales engineer who I had originally consulted about the project and explained the situation. To this, he said something along the lines of "that's concrete. You can't make it move if it doesn't want to". Frustrated, I thanked him for his time and paid the remainder of my bill. A few weeks later and now the foam residue from overflow has dried and discolored leaving the slabs looking modeled. The foam residue is a yellow-brown color similar to that of urine. As someone who works in concrete and facilities management, I am very disappointed. I had high expectations and am left feeling like I should have done a lot of the work myself. The value of the work executed did not match the cost of this service. Disclaimer: Olshan has contacted me in an attempt to resolve the issues as a result of my review. They offered to repair their mistakes but there was no mention of any monetary recompense. I am unsure if I want them to do further work on my property.
