Pacific Heating & Cooling, consisting of Jesse, Brent and Gavin, provided exceptional workmanship installing our brand new furnace and heat pump. First, they were on time; took the time to introduce themselves, and explained the process and how long it would take to complete. They answered our questions and concerns with a smile. They completed the installation quickly and efficiently, leaving a trail of cleanliness and beautiful workmanship. Gold stars for this team of professionals! Thank you guys! Chris & Angelica Torres

We believed the commercials and the sales pitch. We paid big company money for a basic unit because it was a big company and the mini split was Mitsubishi, which I’ve heard of. It came with a 12 year parts and 1 year labor warranty, very impressive. I am brand loyal and have a whole text log of having them out for tune up services. Naturally I called them when the air conditioning was no longer blowing cold. Technician came out, we paid diagnosis to receive an estimate of $1500 for leak detection, $2200 to service the refrigerant, plus the cost of repairs to whatever’s leaking. I own and run a service business. I understand a blow off bid when I see one. We said no thank you. Their big company customer service called to ask how my service call went. I stated we were going to get a second opinion because their price was not only too high, but 600% higher than market rate. They offered to send out a second technician to see if there was something the first technician missed. Steve shows up and hits us with a handwritten, off the books estimate with some ambiguous repair offers. Equally offensive pricing. Then he acted condescending when my wife said no thanks. I had another company out, and found that Pacific charged us big company money for temporary, shark bite style fittings, all were leaking. Pressure lines that were too short to fix it with more temporary fittings. So not only did they fool us when they installed the unit originally, but 2 technicians and their customer service line lied to my face about the true cost to repair. The next company we hired installed new pressure lines, and installed them with best practices flare finttings so they last the whole warranty period and don’t leak refrigerant in to the atmosphere. Long story short, Pacific Heating and Cooling does not value their customers, we are just $$ to them. They justify their fees by stating their technicians are licensed and use top of the line equipment. That’s a lie. Their technicians in fact use temporary fittings that leak, and they don’t care about the environment because they intentionally install their units with inferior materials that allow caustic refrigerant in the atmosphere just to get a service call. This company had at least 5 chances to stop the BS and just do the right thing. Their original technician saw the previously crap install and hit me with a 4300 bid. To fix a leak on pressure lines that ran about 6 feet and held 3.7lbs of refrigerant. The next condescending tech saw the previously trash install and hit us with a 3300 bid, worded ambiguously. The next company replaced our lines, used proper flare fittings and serviced the refrigerant for $600. Market rate in Tacoma for R410a refrigerant installed is $50 per pound. Don’t get ripped off by Pacific. Do your research. I will never be loyal to a big company with fancy trucks again.

Matt Storset was the best tech we have ever had. Confirmed the diagnosis quickly, answered all my questions, and installed the new thermostat very quickly. It works GREAT and the issues were solved. He was also great to chat with about Jordan’s, BMX, and the good ole days. Hope we get to work with him again.

The service technician Jess is awesome. He is very thorough, professional and a real pleasure to have in our home. The office crew is equally great. Professional, friendly and so helpful. I recommend this business to anyone that need heating and cooling! They are the best.

First and foremost Pacific Air put in our air conditioning system in 2015. We receive service in the beginning of winter and the beginning of summer for regular checkups and cleaning. This ensures our system will be functioning smoothly for that season. It’s wonderful because they call us to set up appointments so we never have to keep up when it’s time to set up a maintenance service call. Brandon was our service provider for today and has been here a few times for our regular checks. We have absolute faith when he leaves all is going to be running smoothly. Brandon is so courteous personable and such a delight to have conversation with while he’s here. Serviceman often have you feeling they don’t have time to answer questions. Brandon will ask you at the beginning middle and end making sure you have a good understanding of his answers. He’s extremely thorough and explains everything as he’s doing our system. His wonderful personality is always welcomed here. He is smiling when he enters and smiles as he’s leaving. We truly enjoy having him in our home. We look forward to seeing him again for our next checkup time. We highly recommend Pacific Air to everyone and have to our family and friends. We have never had to call them out to repair anything on our unit. We believe having the regular maintenance keeps it running without issues. We appreciate all that they do. You simply cannot go wrong with having them put in your desired unit. If we didn’t have them do the initial install we would still recommend them for heating and air systems. Their knowledge will bring you peace of mind with anything you may need. Yes I’m a real customer and not associated personally with any of them just simply the company. It takes a lot for me to write an in-depth review but I feel this strongly about this service company!!
