We had Dominic out to do a complete cleaning of our outdoor AC unit. His attention to detail was impressive and as a result of the cleaning, the coils in particular looked like new. The feels like temperature in northern Virginia today was 104° according to NBC4. It is very cool and comfortable inside our home. Thank you, Dominic. I shared before and after photos in the post.

After we scheduled a regular HVAC checkup a month ago, and confirmed the appointment a day ago, the company called us on the day of service to "inform" us that they would move it to three weeks later due to surging demand for emergency service, without an apology or inquiry of our willingness. We were certainly sympathetic about others' troubles, but we did not want our HVAC to break down either. If the company had made an attempt to reschedule our service one or two days later, we would have been willing to sacrifice, but keeping us waiting for another three weeks after a month's wait? That's unacceptable. We refused that rearrangement. The woman reluctantly agreed to proceed with the service but tried to guilt trip us throughout the phone call and acted sullenly. Even worse, the technician who showed up late that afternoon was extremely rude and unprofessional. He disgruntled throughout the short stay (less than 5 minutes). After we asked questions about his judgment that the damper was already positioned correctly (which should have been reversed after a winter adjustment), he turned angry at us and left abruptly without doing the regular maintenance. We were shocked at his act. We called the company to report the issue. Thus far nobody has reached out to apologize or reschedule a visit.
