“John Nugent & Sons was really good. They were fast and efficient, and it was just a really good experience all across the board. The plumber was quick and professional, and he showed us how to fix it ourselves in the future. They deserve an A+. We would use them again, and we'd recommend them.”
“John Nugent & Sons came out immediately and did an awesome job. The repairman was fantastic, as was the work.”
“Prompt, clean diagnosis and issue resolution are the qualities we look for, and John Nugent & Sons provided that. I would recommend them.”
“They were prompt with their service, and they were friendly. I'd give them an A.”
“They did plumbing work for me, and everything was good.”
“John Nugent & Sons seemed to know what they were doing. They fixed a problem we had been having off and on for a few years, but they haven't really come up with a solution. It turns out we have really high water pressure into our house, but we were having issues with pipes rattling. Then we also had been having issues with getting lots of leaks. It turns out the water pressure to our house was double what it was supposed to be. My father-in-law recommended them. I would give them an A.”
“They had knowledge of a situation I had with a tankless hot water heater. I didn't know a lot about it, and I came to discover that a lot of people didn't service it. They were one of the few companies that serviced it and had somebody on staff who actually knew what they were talking about, so that was a big plus. It didn't take them long at all to do the job. He came here, gave me the estimate, and came back and got the job done within a couple of hours. I originally found them in the Best Pick Reports booklet. They get an A+.”
“They did a hot water heater replacement. I've been using them for years, and I always know what I'm going to get in terms of quality work. The company was recommended to me by my mother. They're A+.”
“John Nugent & Sons replaced my water heater for me. They were professional and prompt. So far, I haven't had any issues. I may have to call them back to have them take a look at something, but other than that, it was a pretty straightforward installation. Last time, I had them check my bathtub faucet. I chose them because I'd had them come before.”
“They were timely, and they did a good job. I think we've used them a few times—I know they came out to take a look at clogged drains and things like that. They're an A-grade company.”
“John Nugent & Sons was really fast—I remember that. We had a toilet that was leaking. The valve had kind of broken, and it was leaking on the floor. When we were trying to call somebody to come right away, they were the only company that could come out right then. Some people said six hours, and we were saying, 'But, we have a problem now.' It was really nice. They were clean, quick, and nice. I'd rate them as an A.”
“They had professional services, and the guy had good customer service. He did plumbing for the bathroom. It was just a clogged toilet. There was some leakage, too, so he looked into that. I'd give them an A.”
“We had a great experience. They were very professional, and they came when they said they were going to come. It was a complicated problem that they had to fix, and they did it really well. It was a clogged drain in a bathroom. Somebody had put paper towels down the toilet, and it backed up. It clogged the main line, and they managed to fix the whole thing. I've used them in my home many times as well. They do my home maintenance. They do a great, nice job. They get an A grade from me.”
“They responded when we needed them, and they did what they were supposed to do. They came out for either the plumbing issue that we had or the hot water heater issue, and I was happy with both. I'd probably give John Nugent & Sons an A rating.”
“We've had them out here several times, and they always do good work. Most recently, they had to relocate a pipe. We have a contract with them for HVAC, too—they maintain the units. I first heard about them because my neighbor uses them. I'd rate the company as an A.”
“They worked on my toilet, and I think I also had them service my heating and cooling unit. It went fine, and the thing that I thought was great was that they were able to call me on their way. I was only a few minutes late, and they seemed to handle that well. They were fine. They were very straightforward. I think they should keep doing what they're doing. I got their name from a friend of mine on the same street I live on.”
“They rock and roll. I've used them about 15 times, and they're awesome. I had a flood in my basement, and they replaced my hot water heater. They're very reliable, their customer service is fantastic, and they follow up to make sure I'm happy. They're the bomb. I would rate them as an A+ company.”
“Last time John Nugent & Sons was here, they fixed the water heater. I'd give them an A. They also did our whole HVAC system, and they did a fantastic job with that, too.”
“They had a quick response and good service, and the two guys who came out were very good and very professional. I had a garbage disposal replaced, and I'd give them the best rating.”
“John Nugent & Sons did plumbing work in my master bathroom, and they were extremely knowledgeable about what they were doing. They earned an A+ grade.”
“They were timely, and they explained things. They did plumbing work recently, and I've used them a lot of other times. I would recommend them, and I would give them an A.”

“John Nugent & Sons was good.”
“They are pleasant, prompt, and honest. I'd give them an A.”
“I use and recommend John Nugent all the time. Every one of their plumbers has been A1—courteous, on time, and very knowledgeable. They didn't talk down to me like they're the expert; they plainly explained what was going on and what could be done about it. They're an A+ company.”
“John Nugent & Sons did some bathroom work for us, and they were very, very good. They rebuilt the toilet tank in one of our bathrooms, and they also installed the kitchen plumbing. They were able to do it in a timely manner, and they cleaned up well after their service. I'd give them an A+.”
“John Nugent did good work for us. They fixed the plumbing problem, and it hasn't come back, so I'm certainly happy with the work they did. I'd give them an A.”
“We had a pipe break. The quality of the work from John Nugent & Sons was excellent—no problem at all. We loved that guy—he was great. I'd give them an A+ because I have no complaint to make about the guy. The work is good, and I'm happy. The guy was nice, it seemed like he knew what he was talking about, and we were happy to have him here. We would absolutely use John Nugent & Sons again, and I'd absolutely expect good things from the company.”
“John Nugent & Sons did nice work. They did three things for me. I had a leak coming out of my furnace, and they determined that the furnace had been improperly installed with one of the drain hoses, and they fixed that. After the earthquake, one of my copper pipes on the water heater had started leaking very slightly, but they fixed that. Then they also installed a new sump pump with a back-up battery system. They did these services at two different times. I made a list of people to get estimates from, and when I talked to them, I liked them best. Their customer service was very prompt, and they answered all of my questions completely. They cleaned up after themselves, too. I would give them an A+.”
“They were on time and efficient, and they solved the problem. The guys were friendly—they were just good. I had a plumbing problem in my kitchen sink. There was one technician, and the job was done in a timely manner—it was the same day I called. They cleaned up well after their services. I would give John Nugent & Sons an A+ grade. They were extremely responsive, very good, and really took care of the problem quickly and efficiently.”
“John Nugent & Sons installed a new hot water tank. The company was excellent. The workers were very professional, polite, and clean, and they did everything they were supposed to. They were an A+.”
“John Nugent & Sons did plumbing work—they replaced handles that were stuck. They responded to my request for service in a timely fashion, and they were able to do the job in a timely manner. They cleaned up well after their service. I would consider using them again. The technicians were fine, and I did not have any issues. They did excellent—A+.”
“I thought the work John Nugent & Sons did for me was excellent. That was the first time I had them do work for me. They did plumbing work, and they were very competent.”
“John Nugent & Sons was very thorough. They arrived on time and completed the work. I would definitely call them again. They came out for plumbing work, and I got a follow-up email from them about checking heating and so forth. I actually tried to do research to find out a good company to call, and I tried them, and they were good. I researched them through Best Pick Reports. They get an A+. I would use them again.”
“I think we were happy with the work John Nugent & Sons did. They installed an instant flow water heater upstairs. I think it was overall good. The service works, and there are no leaks. The workers were good—they were professional and all that. The cleanup was good, too. We just moved to this area a year ago, so we have been using their service for maybe a year. I would give them an A+.”
“John Nugent & Sons did work for me. They changed my commode. The guy was cordial, and he knew his stuff. Since the work was completed, everything has held up pretty well. They were clean—they may have worn plastic over their shoes. I would use their service again. They are an A+.”
“John Nugent & Sons did work for me. They did a very good job. I think they did plumbing work, and they did good work. I'm happy with their service—A+.”
“I have used John Nugent & Sons once. I had gotten a referral from somebody because I had used a previous company that I was unhappy with. I had some plumbing issues, and a friend of mine said, 'Well, I use Nugent, and I think they're good.' And they were fine. I mean, I wouldn't say, 'Oh, wow, they're amazing.' I only used them once, but they were good—I was happy. They did the job, and that was that. We had dropped something in the toilet that we couldn't get out, and they were able to successfully help us with that. The customer service was fine—they were standard. I would give them an A.”
“They were able to come out very quickly, and they came out on time, when they said they were going to come. This was my first time using them—I had a recommendation from a neighbor across the street who had used them a number of times. The first person I talked to was very polite. He was a very young man—probably early 20s, I guess—but he was very polite and seemed very professional. He seemed like he had been through a good training program. They replaced the hot water heater, and they did it in a timely fashion. I received a warranty with this service. Everything has been working fine. I would use John Nugent & Sons again. I'd rate them an A+. They were timely, they did a good job, they were quick, and I've had no issues since then—I don't think I can ask for more than that.”
“We were very happy with John Nugent & Sons. I've used them more than once—this is repeat business. We use them whenever we have problems that come up, and if something comes up, we call them. We just moved here about five or six months ago. They took care of plumbing in our other house right before we sold it, and it was great—no problems after that. Then it was plumbing again in the new house, and they took care of that without any difficulty, and it went very well. I would absolutely recommend them. I'd grade them an A+.”
“John Nugent & Sons did some work for me. They were quick and got the job done. The scheduling was appropriate for my needs. They did plumbing work, and I would consider calling them again for plumbing work. I'd give them an A.”
“I was satisfied with John Nugent & Sons. They did two things—they replaced my garbage disposal that was leaking under the sink, and they installed a new spigot in that sink. This was the first time I had them do work for me. I chose them because our son might have had business with them at one time and he recommended them. They deserve an A.”
“They were prompt, and they were OK. They did what they had to do, and I am satisfied. I have had them do work for me twice. I'll probably call them again because they did a good job the first time and the second time. If I have a plumbing problem, I'm sure I'm going to call John Nugent again; I have them on my directory already—I have their number programmed in. The first job they did was the sink, and it worked fine. The second one was the upstairs leak. They fixed it the first time and didn't have to come back. I would give them a ten.”
“I think John Nugent & Sons did come earlier this year and take care of what we needed with a kitchen sink issue. The workers were fine—very helpful—and took care of the problem the first time through. I believe it was our first occasion using the company, and we chose them because they're local. I would give them an A. We have used them one other time more recently, and that project was actually beyond their ability to complete, but they were very up front about that and actually recommended someone else to come in and do the service for us. I think we would use them again.”
“John Nugent & Sons was very good. It was a positive experience because the plumber himself was very nice and the work was good. I would give them a grade of A.”
“It was actually a few months ago that John Nugent & Sons did work for me. I had a problem, and they solved it, and that was the big thing. They came fairly quickly, which was important, and the fellow who came and did the work was pretty pleasant and seemed competent, so I can't say much more than that. I believe they replaced the under-the-counter garbage disposal. So far, it is running good. That's one of those things you don't think much about until it doesn't work. The cleanup after the job was finished was fine. I'd rate them A+.”
“The service person that came out was very knowledgeable, very helpful, and very patient with me, and that's really important. He also did exactly what he said he would do, and I'm very happy with the work that was done. I had a problem with my gas fireplace, and they corrected that. I unreservedly would give them an A.”
“I've used them for probably about eight years. I've moved overseas several times in between, and I've always come back to them. I've lived on three different properties since I started using them. They're always very good. I always used one specific representative, and he was great. His name was David Ryan. I heard he left the company, which I was kind of sad to hear. The guy who came out seemed OK, but I wouldn't say he was up to the same level as David. He explained things when he took a look at them, but I just got the feeling that he wasn't as thorough as the guy who we used to go to. We are going to have them come over again pretty soon because we're on a contract with them. We get two visits a year, and I'm going to have them do a winterization visit. I would recommend them. Recently, when I moved into a new house, I had an emergency with the hot water. I called the company and said, 'Hey, I used you guys for years before, and I've got this freak issue right now. Can you guys help me?' They actually put me in touch with someone who was out in the field working on something else. When he called me back, I told him what was up, and he gave me some free advice, and it worked. They've always been very reliable. The guy who came was good. We're just used to Dave, who like on the money; he was really way more interested in what was going on with the house and checking out what was going on. This guy just didn't have the enthusiasm Dave did. I'd say they deserve an A because they've always been good. I have no complaints—so far, so good.”

John Nugent & Sons did a fabulous job. They installed a new garbage disposal and some other minor things for me. The plumber was very knowledgeable about what he was doing and what needed to be done. They're an A+.

John Nugent installed a new hot water heater. The plumbers were very professional. They put protective covering on all of the hardwoods throughout the house. When they were completely done installing everything, they wiped everything down and vacuumed. I had a very good experience—A+.

We had a leak in our shower, and the plumber from John Nugent was persistent in finding the leak and fixing it. His work was clean, and he did a good job of picking up afterward. He did a great job, and I was very happy with it.

I use John Nugent for plumbing. He changed the valves and repaired the pipes for us. They did great—they're always good.

I have a contract with John Nugent & Sons where they service my heating, air, and plumbing several times a year. They're very responsive, and they do a good job. They're respectful of the property when they come out, and their plumbing cleanup is good.

I used John Nugent & Sons for plumbing. They had some tricky things that they had to do for me. One of my outside spigots was a total mess, and the guy opened the wall and put in a whole new spigot, and it was beautiful job, too. He also put in a new main shutoff valve. And they did a gorgeous job. I had one little leakage problem about a year ago, and he came out and said, 'OK, we're just going to change some washers and stuff.' They weren't cheap, but again, I got good service. They showed up when they were supposed to show up and did the job, and there were no surprises. I'm going to give them an A because I like them.

They did something quite simple for us. They had to replace a switch in one of the pipes, and they did it quickly and efficiently. It was a job well done. The technician was good—knowledgeable, friendly, and hardworking. I would use them again and recommend them. I'd call them an A.

He fixed a bathtub faucet and replaced some toilet valves. It was a good, quality work. Everything has held up. They were very pleasant and had fine customer service. I'd give them an A.

They found something very minor, and we appreciated that they could've charged us a lot of money for something that I didn't know anything about. The repair was with the water heater that's part of our whole system—the water wasn't getting hot. The worker was great. He showed up on time, did the work, and cleaned up. Everything went well. A+ for sure.

This was my first time using the company, and I was thrilled with them. I thought that I had a leak in the upstairs bathroom, but as it turned out, it was a disconnection of some sort where the condensation was running down the walls from the attic down to the main floor. I wasn't home when they were here, and when I did get home, I couldn't even tell that they had been here—that is a good sign. There wasn't any mess or dirt or anything like that around. They'd be an A.

They did some work in my bathroom on a broken faucet, and I thought they worked hard on it. The customer service was just great. Everything is holding up just fine. I would say they were probably an A+.

They unclogged a sewer pipe for us. It was not an extensive job, and the workers were fine. I'd recommend them. They're an A+.

They were prompt to replace my water heater. A guy came in, picked one up, came back, and installed it. They were professional and very accommodating. They also did a gas line repair for us. Since they did the work, everything has held up fine. They took care of everything. I would more than likely use their services again in the future. I'd give them an A+.

They repaired our toilet. They showed up on time and were very clean while doing the work. They were efficient and very polite. I think they were in one of the books I picked up. They were very good, and I would use them again—A+.

John Nugent & Sons was outstanding. I had a very positive experience, both with the work and with the personnel who were working here. They replaced a galvanized steel pipe that went from our home out to the water meter—it had eroded over the years, and there was no longer any water pressure. They replaced it with copper so that we could have water pressure in our home again. The workers were very professional and very friendly, and they communicated with me exactly what it was they would do, how long it would take, and how much it would cost. I would give them an A+.

They replaced a toilet. The worker was awesome; he was friendly and really nice. I didn't feel at all threatened being alone in the house with him. I'd tell someone else to hire him. I'd say they're an A+.

They got the job done. They were clean, and they were out of here. We've had the water heater replaced, we've had some plumbing repaired, and we've had some electrical repaired. They communicated well. We will be using them in the future. I'd give them an A.

They did plumbing installation, repair, and maintenance. They were outstanding. They've been working for us for five years. A+.

They were very quick to respond from the very beginning. After my first inquiry, they had someone out quickly. They ordered some parts and installed them very quickly. They left the area that they worked in clean, and they were very nice and polite. They're an A+. I was completely satisfied.

I've used them twice, once for plumbing and once for a fall checkup on my furnace. Neither one was a particularly big job, but I really did think they were great. I selected them from Best Pick Reports. The workers were knowledgeable, and the customer service was great, too. I'll give them an A+.

On a Sunday, I discovered water dripping underneath the wall in my basement. It had pooled into our rec room downstairs and was underneath the couch, and I thought, 'Oh no,' and started looking for the source. And it was the valve from the street to the house, so it was a big valve, and you couldn't exactly screw with it. If you screwed up on this, your house was going to be under a good bit of water, and so, I called John Nugent & Sons. They put me through to the emergency guy, Danny, and Danny says, 'It's going to be really expensive if I come out there right now, but how handy are you?' And I said, 'I can do some things.' He said, 'Do you know what a packing nut is?' I said, 'Yeah, I know that.' For ten minutes, he talked to me while I was down there with a flashlight and a wrench, and he told me how to tighten up the packing nut about a quarter of an inch. He said that sometimes that'll cut the water off, and it did really significantly slow the flow. I told him that it was not done yet, and he knew that meant that I had two leaks in the same valve. Then he said, 'OK, then you need to work with the actual valve screw at the top.' He worked with me to find a sweet spot where it'd cut off. And it all worked. In other words, he saved me big bucks on an emergency visit. Then they came in on Monday and replaced the valve. They saved me a lot of money by not charging me for the phone call. The guy who changed the valve showed up on time. He was very meticulous, and he cleaned up really well—you couldn't even tell he was there. It was really good. I'd give them an A+, and I've already recommended them to a friend.

They came earlier than expected because the guy was in the area, but I didn't mind them coming earlier. They unclogged a pipe for us. He knew what he was doing. The time frame was reasonable from when he arrived to when he left. I had only hired them this once, but my husband had hired them for our rental house, so that's why we called them again. He seemed to like their work. I would use this company again. They respected my property. A+ is fine for them.

They were timely with an estimate and very conscientious about the work performed. They worked on our broken generator for me, they fixed a heater boiler for me, and they worked on an air conditioner for me. I had no communication problems with them. I've already given their number out a couple times. Everything was fantastic—it's an A+.

We've been using them for heating, air conditioning, and plumbing for probably 15 years now, and I just find that they respond quickly and do good work. They're very professional. I give them an A+.

They replaced my exterior gas line. They were on time, they knew what they were doing, and they were very professional. Everything's holding very well. I'll give them an A+. I would definitely call them again.

They fixed my garbage disposal. The technician was nice, and he fixed it, and it's been working fine since. I'll give them an A+.

I had John Nugent & Sons replace a toilet for me—they did an excellent job. He knew what he was doing, and he was able to take care of the job. I would use them again, and I would recommend them to someone. They’re an A+.

John Nugent & Sons did a fine job. I was very satisfied with their work. The plumber repaired a broken main sewer pipe for me, and he did good, quality work. The customer service was also very good, and the cleanup was excellent. I was very satisfied and happy with their work. I’d give them an A+.

The plumber John Nugent sent out was very good. He was efficient and took care of the problem very quickly. I had a strangely configured faucet, and he was able to fix it. The plumber knew what he was doing, and he did a nice job. I would give them an A+.

They're awesome and really helpful. I'm stupid when it comes to plumbing—I don't get any of that—but they're really good at breaking it down and teaching me about the new equipment that I've got. They have great crews. They're the only plumbing company that we rely on. If I have a question, I can call them, and they'll help me out.

I've been using this company for 24 years. I just gave their name to someone yesterday. I trust them to do a good job and to give me good advice. I've had no problems whatsoever. They do a good job.

We've used John Nugent & Sons for lots of things over the years, most recently for plumbing work. We think they're great—very professional. The man who came out was a very experienced plumber. We thought he was good, and we're very happy with them.

I used them in my home, where I also work, because I think they're great. I've used Nugent for at least 15 years, and probably 5 years of that has been here. We use them for air-conditioning repair, and we had them put in a new hot-water heater. I get the air conditioning serviced once a year. I don't get the heat serviced, just the air conditioner. I give the workers a 10. I love John Nugent—they're great. They're always polite, and they always give me full and detailed information that I'm able to write down. Always prompt. Their office staff is helpful, too.

I recommended them to two of my friends, and they've both been delighted. He's coming today, as a matter of fact. He's worked for me for several years and always does a high-quality job. He's friendly, and the workers are knowledgeable. I've had no problems with the crew. I've recommended them to family and friends.

They installed some faucets for us. They did very high-quality work, and I'm very happy with them. Their workers were competent. They finished their work in a reasonable amount of time.

I'm an old customer of theirs, and they've done many things for me. The great thing about them is that when you call, their staff is always happy. They make you feel like they're pleased to talk to you. It's very family-like. And so then you are given very fast appointments if you've got a pipe leaking or something, and there's not a long waiting period for whatever it is. I would say when I call, if it's something else not as pressing, they'll ask; they can come right away, but probably the longest I've ever waited would be 24 hours. And the people that come to the house are very polite. They're talented. I feel comfortable with them coming into my home. That would be everything in a nutshell with Nugent & Sons. It's a very, very good relationship, and based on that I have recommended them to numerous friends and neighbors, and they've always been pleased. I've been more than pleased—perfect.

They're a great company, from the front office down to the technicians. Every single one of them is super courteous. You rarely see that in a company. They're a pleasure to work with.

They've done fine work. We have issues with water pressure, so they fixed that. I think the quality of work was good. Everything has held up, so when we have problems we call them, and they come right back out.

They were wonderful. Most recently they came out because we had a small leak in a pipe, and they've done other plumbing besides that, and they've also done heating work for us. Everything they've done has always been top-notch. I would recommend them, absolutely.

I thought they were fantastic. They were out here pretty quickly. They did a repair in our bathroom, a plumbing issue. They had good cleanup, and I would absolutely use this company again as well as recommend them.

We had John Nugent & Sons replace our hot water heater. They were very good.

“For heating and air, I use John Nugent & Sons. I think they're excellent. We've used them for 25 years, and they've always been excellent in terms of performance. They stand by their work.”

We've used John Nugent & Sons.

We're using Nugent now for the plumbing. They replaced one of our outdoor A/C units two weeks ago. They're great.

John Nugent & Sons is the best. They're honest. They'll say, 'No, you don't need that,' if that's the case. They do quality work that's always clean and timely. They do the heating and plumbing and electric for me. They do a good job with all of that.

I've used Danny Riddick with Nugent & Sons for a long time now. I've been pleased with their work.

My plumbing contractor is Nugent & Sons. They are very good. They installed the air conditioning and the heating unit when we did a renovation, and they've come back out and serviced it on a regular basis. They also did a couple of things under warranty. We're quite happy with them.

I use John Nugent & Sons. The work that they've done for my neighbors before has been great. For me, they replaced the sinks and some other stuff.

I'm very happy with them. They haven't done a lot of work for us, but I've used them several times over the past few years, and they've always been very professional, on time, and finished the work in a satisfactory manner. They did some simple plumbing work.
