Carlos and Alex were amazing. They worked so hard they had installed 2 three ton ac units having to go up and downstairs. They took the time to explain how everything works. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for honest hard working team. They were upfront no hidden fees everything is straightforward. Great job y’all

We were quoted on Tuesday, financing approved same day and booked for Thursday, the same week for a full AC and Heater replacement. All employees were very nice and knowledgeable. Great price on a 2 stage Lennox, and beat out two others prices by a mile

On 5/22/25 l worked with Affordable Air. I’ve been dealing with Affordable Air after locating their information from the Home Concepts magazine. When the tech arrived I told him my a/c unit was cooling yet not consistently. Another tech arrived shortly after. He advised that l needed 2 ECM fan motors or new units. Gave my adult son and I only 2 options. All recorded on our home camera with voice/sound. The tech advised that a new unit would cost $9k or new motors for $2500 each. He said I need 2. He stated the new motor would last 5-10 years. They were aware that my units were installed in 2011 because he asked when I purchased my house. As well as they saw the date on the units. My son asked should we get a 2nd opinion? The tech claimed they were the lowest option around. He also said that we needed to pay immediately so they could go get the “speciality” parts. The tech showed up a couple of hours later after retrieving the parts. At 5pm he finished and said that both units were cooling and left. WELP, nope -the downstairs unit NEVER cooled. SO after speaking to the clerical staff several times and denied the opportunity of speaking directly to Jeremy, my son did a claim to dispute the charge. After paying $4500.00 the a/c isn’t cooling. They did give a military discount. Then on at 2:13pm they came back out. On May 27, 2025 at 3:53pm two new techs came out and said it needed refrigerant. Which would be another $750. On May 29, 2025 at 2:13pm the original tech came out to load the refrigerant.Refrigerant was ONLY offered after we were told to purchase the fan motors. We weren’t shown any pictures or the old motors. Also I don’t routinely goes in my attic checking the HVAC system. Thus why l contacted them, supposedly the “experts” were called. After returning home on June 8 and cutting the air on more a/c trouble persist. After a couple of hours, I noticed water spots in my ceiling near the vent. Contacted Affordable Air immediately that night. Later someone did call to say that l ‘d be contacted first thing in the morning. On June 9 at 11:17am a clerical staff called stating they couldn’t come out because the charge was being disputed by my bank. She was advised that after they added the refrigerant, we dropped the claim. She said that what I’m experiencing is all pre-existing issues. WELL of course that’s why we called you! If my units were too old and were beyond repair why put a new motor in them? IF l just needed refrigerant, why not offer that initially? Not after I spent $4500. This has been one of the worst experiences of home ownership that I have experienced. Just think if I would have left my a/c unit on all weekend? My home would have been flooded. We are now in June, in the heat of the summer.I’m still dealing with a/c issues and not comfortable at home due to heat. Now with water damage to attic and ceiling, which will require additional work. I don’t think they checked the lines to ensure they were clear. l was never informed nor was it in writing that the fan motors may not resolve my immediate problems. I’m not sure if the initial tech misdiagnosed my units incorrectly or installed the fan motor wrong, but I had no relief. I’d advise any consumer to get a 2nd opinion before using Affordable Air. Buyer be ware!
