We used Preferred Home Improvement to do our siding, windows and everything else that transformed our home into our dream home. The outside looks amazing. My neighbors and visitors can’t believe it’s the same home. Mike, took great detail into every part of our home make over, and bought great ideas and expertise Brian from the beginning saw us through to the end with excellent communication and when we had questions about anything he was a phone call away. Patrick, the project manager did an excellent job with managing the crew that did the work. He was punctual, honest and a hard worker. The crew who did the work were hard workers, punctual and did quality work. They cleaned up at the end of the project, and you would never have known that we had a week worth of workers and materials all over our property. I would recommend them to anyone that is considering making their home as beautiful as ours !!

Mike and his team recently did our whole house window replacement. The team was fantastic; timely, professional, and incredibly proficient. This company installs windows the "correct" way, not just as a replacement. Mike was always very responsive with my questions and concerns and takes true pride in ensuring his customers are fully satisfied. Their workmanship was stellar, ensuing a perfect fit and weatherproofing for each window. They were very considerate in cleaning everything up after the job was complete. I fully recommend Preferred Home Improvements for anyone looking for windows, or any exterior project.

We couldn't be happier with how our home looks now! PHI installed beautiful new windows, all new siding, new gutters and beautiful accent roofing details. It looks like a new house! Every detail was thought of. Mike has a great eye for detail and his team works quickly but very hard, does not cut corners. It was easy to have them here every day _ our PM, Patrick, was excellent and kept us updated on next steps. He communicated with the team immediately if any questions needed answered. Shawn did a great job leading the install of our windows. All workers in our house were courteous. They cleaned up well every day and consolidated their equipment and tools each night. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend them or hire PHI again. 10/10!

We contracted PHI to do a substantial home renovation which included ripping down stucco, putting up vinyl siding, replacing every window, and installing new soffits, gutters, and downspouts. This was a big project with a lot of details to get right. From the start, Brian came out and had a very in depth discussion about what we wanted and provided us with a detailed breakdown on costs as well as a computer mockup of what our home would look like after the renovation which helped us visualize the end result. We tweaked the proposal many times before signing the contract (plus a few times after), and the communication was always fast and informative. Once the work actually started, the workers did a great job of caring for our property to make sure nothing was damaged. The team worked faster than I expected, with the entire project lasting about 12 working days (5 of which were dedicated to removing the stucco). Everyone involved was friendly and the foreman, Patrick, was very helpful when issues arose. The entire project didn't go off without a hitch, there were a few minor headaches along the way (as I'm sure there would be with any project this size), but what sets PHI apart is how they went the extra mile to remedy those issues. The end result is fantastic and we have a house which we won't have to worry about for a long long time.

This one is tough for me because I had a great experience with this company initially. They completed a siding project on my home, and the work was beautiful. Everything went smoothly, the job was completed on time, and I was extremely happy with the results. Because of that experience, I reached back out to them for some exterior repairs and soffit work. Unfortunately, the follow-through this time has been disappointing. After waiting a month without receiving a quote, I followed up and was told someone would get back to me. Several months have now passed, and I’ve made at least four follow-up calls, each time receiving essentially the same response: “We’ll get right back to you.” During my most recent call, I even asked if they were simply too busy or weren’t interested in taking on the job, which I would completely understand. My frustration isn’t about whether they want the work. It’s about the lack of communication and repeatedly being told someone will follow up when they don’t. Honestly, the only reason I’ve continued following up is because their original work was so good. Otherwise, I would have moved on a long time ago. My recommendation is this: If you can get a quote and get the work scheduled, I’d absolutely recommend them based on the quality of their craftsmanship. Just be aware that communication and follow-through may be a challenge.
