Editing as they did come with a very professional crew and fixed all the issues that I had. I will update after the next rain fall. However, Rob E. Eli S. And Frank deserve 5 stars. They were very professional, very friendly and ensured the job was done and done correctly. Like I said, those 3 deserve 5 stars. And I appreciate the time and effort they put into my home today. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. We have had nothing but issues since 2023. Quite frankly, I feel that I have been scammed out of THOUSANDS of dollars. I originally had a sump pump placed and was suppose to have 10ft of gutters in the basement. (The gutters have not been placed as of June 2026!) This area continues to flood so I had another person come out who suggested an outside drain. This was done incorrectly. Not only did the drill holes in my foundation to cover it up and do it again. (Photos attached) but there is PVC pipe exposed in the yard and this was not draining the water properly so another tech came out and placed another drain. Yet, the basement still flooded. They came out and replaced the sump pump. And the area is still flooding from the wall that they were suppose to repair the first time they came out. In between all of this I had multiple times that techs just did not show up. No call or anything, just didn’t come! Now they are saying I need to pay to have all of this fixed when it was never done correctly. Through all of the flooding, calls for service, people not showing up, things not being fixed this whole experience feels like a waste of time, a major regret of using the company and a scam. I paid over 4k the first time and now they are wanting to charge me 9k to fix what they messed up and add more to the mix. So please, do not waste your time or money with OBA.

Our century old house need to have some posts installed to fix a sagging issue caused by old renovations before us. OBA was so helpful and informative that when we were ready to repair the quickly scheduled us and even moved us up. Iran H. And Chris M. were amazing professionals and left our basement cleaner than when they started. Highly recommend.

Was having issues with humidity and water in our crawl space. William's crew (Russell, Levi, Marvin) with Ohio Basement Authority came out and encapsulated it. They were friendly, professional, and efficient with their work. I am throughly impressed and will look forward to the annual check up next year. We are impressed with their workmanship.

Robert, Elijah and Kevin installed 3 Push Piers to stop my house from moving with the erosion from the hill my home sits next to. JT worked with me to explain what the job would entail and handling all the paperwork. He was very friendly and knowledgeable. The job was performed in under 6 hours and part of that was waiting for the city inspector. These guys were great! Communicated very well throughout the job, explaining what they were doing, carefully handling very heavy tools and equipment and cleaned up and tamped the area their equipment rutted. A special shout out to Elijah and his masterful skills at operating the forklift/digger on my hill! There are operators, and then there is Elijah…heads above the rest. His attention to detail is so impressive and appreciated! Thanks to all of you and for your timeliness and professionalism!

Shout out to Seth and Tyler for doing an excellent job fixing our uneven side walks! They were in exceptionally bad shape and they took great care to make sure that things were level and that the siding wasn’t damaged. Thank you both for your solid work and professionalism! My husband and I will make sure to send our friends to Ohio Basement Authority if they need sidewalk or foundation repair!!!
