“When we walked into the American Decorating Center showroom we knew that we had found the company that we wanted to work with to do our kitchen and master bath remodeling. The family owned business was the perfect fit for us. We were greeted by Jason Kitzmiller, the General Manager for the company. His positive and pleasant personality, expertise and knowledge of the materials and the remodeling process, and his willingness to work with us was comforting and reassured us that we had found the right company to do our renovations. Jason came to our home within days to take measurements and assess what we really wanted. His suggestions were welcomed and appreciated. We had a contract within days and the process was underway and completed in a timely fashion, even with the challenges of the COVID19 pandemic. We had quartz counter tops, a new sink, and a new stove top installed in the kitchen. The master bath had new cabinets, granite counter tops, and a new free standing glass door installed. All upgrades look terrific. Carlos, Project Manager for the work, came to our home with his talented crew. They were efficient, professional, and cleaned as they completed each task. Having them in our home for the week was a pleasant experience. Since the renovations to the kitchen and bath, they have replaced a couple of windows and done window sill repairs with the same efficiency. We would highly recommend American Decorating Center. Working with Jason and his team was a pleasure.”

“American decorating has done all the work in my house - bathroom remodel, cabinet and vanity installation in master bedroom, carpet replacement, and tile installation. They have also done work in several other properties we had and have always done a wonderful job. Quality of work has been excellent. For the estimate, everything was broken down. They told me the names of all the people who were going to come and do the work. They followed up. The work was fantastic. From beginning to the end, it was an incredibly great experience. They're absolutely A+, even in prices. They beat everybody by well over $1000. I went in with a budget, and they beat my budget. “I had good and bad with them. I've used them a lot, but there are some things that have upset me in the past. They've done a lot. They put down my wood floors. They put down my bathroom floors. They've painted my house. They put the backsplash up in my kitchen. They've laid carpet for us twice. They're very friendly and helpful. For the most part they tend to do a pretty good job, and they're right up the street. They're locally-owned. I like that. I've had some problems, like when the painters came in. They'd say they were going to paint the kitchen, and I get the kitchen all ready, and then they go upstairs, and they throw all my stuff around and get paint on it. I'm not a complainer, so I didn't say anything, but I wish I had. Then the owner came in the next day and said something about how they're not supposed to move my stuff for me, only the big heavy stuff.' They told me they were going to do the kitchen, not that they were going to go upstairs in the bedrooms.' I got paint on comforters, on bathroom seats, all sorts of places that I didn't intend to get paint on. The wood floors they did a good job on, but the painting not so much. I'd scheduled another painter that was going to be a lot more money, and he was like, 'Oh we can do it much cheaper than that,' but I felt it was a little rough. They were good with their customer service. They would call me, I'd fix everything up, and then they'd call me and say they don't have somebody to come out that day, or his truck's broken. I'm thinking if his truck's broken, rent him one. I'm a good customer. At first, I really liked them, and then I didn't like them so much after the painting. They get a C.”
