Plum Pro was amazing they fit us when our roof was leaking after a major storm. They worked closely with our abatement company when it was found we had asbestos in the previous roofing materials, Dave and Steve where so helpful guiding is thru the whole process. Shout out to Brandon with A-Best Abatement as well. Theses teams were a well oiled machine working quickly, so professional and cleaned up our site with such care. They showed such dedication to work on one of the hots days of the year to get out home back in shape for the next storm!! Thank you to all involved I would recommend them!

The team from Plum ProExteriors who worked on our siding and deck project were top notch. Ray and I couldn't be happier with the results. From start to finish these guys are impressive with their workmanship, attention to detail, and diligent hard workers. Vadim, Favio, Eddie, Bruno and the guys were professional and courteous throughout the entire process. We highly recommend Plum Pro. The house looks totally amazing, what a makeover. Well worth the money spent on this project Here's the before and after going from cedar wood siding > 30 yrs old to the newJames Hardie siding... Thanks again guys.

Plum pro gave an honest, reasonable price for high quality, well executed work. Work included some new construction and replacement windows, James Hardie siding, azek trim, and addition of insulation board. My exterior looks completely refreshed now. High confidence in their staff and no surprises

I would like to give Plum Exterior a 3.5-star rating. I’m adding a half-star specifically because their payment system is excellent; they accept credit cards, which allowed me to earn points on a major home improvement project—a rare and appreciated convenience in this industry. Here is a detailed breakdown of my experience: The Positives: Work Ethic and Craftsmanship First, I want to highlight the installation crew. They were truly amazing—detail-oriented, hardworking, and highly skilled in carpentry. They arrived before 7:00 AM and worked straight through until 7:00 PM. Their daily cleanup was impeccable, leaving me with absolutely nothing to complain about regarding the job site. The Negatives: Communication and Scheduling The issues began with the estimation and project management phase. During the estimate in late December, I explicitly told Alan that we needed to start in late March due to several planned trips and a desire to avoid construction during a harsh winter. Despite this, I received a call in late January from a guy called Dave stating that materials had arrived early and they wanted to start immediately. I had to push back firmly to maintain our March start date. Had I not done so, the project would have been a disaster, as I needed to be home to catch significant aesthetic issues. Details below. Aesthetic Misunderstandings We wanted to replace our original wood shingles with James Hardie (JH) shingle siding to mimic the existing style. While we discussed woven outside corners, the inside corners were never addressed during the estimate. I assumed they would match the original wood look, but instead, the crew installed bulky PVC trim. The biggest issue was at the bay window, where they used two pieces of PVC trim to create a "V-shape" at the inside corners(see pictures). I have never seen this on a house before; it completely destroyed the home's aesthetics. Because I was home (and leaving for an international trip three days later), I caught this in time. While the project manager, Taylor, was helpful in brainstorming solutions, none of the options perfectly replicated the wood look. I eventually proposed using flat PVC panels for the bay window area. Word of caution: If you are trying to mimic traditional wood shingles with James Hardie, be very specific about corner transitions. Pricing and Change Orders I was disappointed with the final costs regarding two specific change orders that happened right before my trip: Bay Window: We were charged an additional $3,000 for the flat PVC panel materials. Considering the labor for siding was already in the original quote(they also charged additional price for woven corner but they didn't refund that part after we changed design), this felt extremely high—especially since they did not even replace the actual window trims which i thought they would(they damaged one trim, picture as below), only the panels. Eventually the final result look so weird an ugly. For comparison, they charged $363 for a different window trim replacement elsewhere. Since the siding was a special order and the design changed, we incurred additional costs from the over-purchase of JH shingle materials. Porch and Wood Rot: I was charged $2,600 to repair rotten wood beneath a window and for two porch corners. While they fixed it and but also replaced the trim with new PVC for the screen openings and window which I wasn't told and I didn't ask for. As a homeowner I would have preferred spending that money on replacing other window trims instead of the screen opening trims on porch. They should be clear about what they are doing instead of creating works by just giving me a number and a vague work description. Furthermore, I asked for photos of the wood rot repair as it was being fixed, but I never received them. Also Alan quoted me $12,000 by using Sherwin-Williams Duration paint for painting which includes house trim, window trim, window frame, gutters, a garage and a shed.
