“I would not recommend Power House Remodeling to anyone. If you decide to hire them, make sure every single detail is explicitly written into the contract. Specify what materials can be removed or discarded, what must remain, how the installation should be performed, the number of workers assigned to the job, and expectations for cleanup both inside and outside the property. Include requirements for sealing windows that are not replaced and a quality inspection within 3–5 business days. If it matters to you, also document who will be doing the work, including names, background checks, and identification. They strictly follow only what is written in the contract—anything not documented becomes the homeowner’s responsibility. Avoid relying on verbal agreements; get everything in writing.”

So I think they need to find, local providers in the region to get the fair market value. They just deal with one, manufacturer that builds them. They're more like Northern, so their prices are a little bit higher. I'm living in San Antonio, and everything is cheaper down here. So the cost of the window is a little bit expensive for down South.”

“Our disappointment stems from a significant gap between what was promised during the sales process and what was delivered in execution and follow-up. We chose Power Home Remodeling at a higher cost specifically because we were assured that certain problem areas would be properly repaired, most notably the rotted decking above our front entrance. This issue was explicitly discussed during the inspection and was a deciding factor in moving forward. That repair was not completed as promised, and the remaining wood is visibly deteriorated. On installation day, work began well before the communicated arrival window, creating unnecessary stress and safety concerns. Additionally, debris was funneled off the roof directly in front of our main entry without warning, temporarily blocking safe access to our home. The most concerning issue occurred during the Quality Assurance visit by Aaron. He did not arrive until after the roof installation had already been completed, at which point corrective measures were no longer feasible. Aaron acknowledged that certain issues had not been properly addressed, including the incomplete replacement of rotted wood. Rather than arranging appropriate repairs, we were advised to purchase bondo or wood filler ourselves to address the problem, or to rely on the labor warranty if the issue worsened in the future. Legitimate workmanship concerns, including gaps in the drip edge, were minimized and not corrected. During this visit, the focus shifted away from resolution and toward upselling additional services. We were also subjected to repeated pressure to sign completion-of-work forms that did not allow us to document unresolved concerns. We were told that if we did not sign, the workers would not be assigned additional jobs the following day, which created an unnecessarily intimidating and uncomfortable situation. To make this right, we expect the following corrective actions: Full and proper replacement of the rotted decking above the front entrance, not patching or filling A qualified representative to re-inspect the roof and correct all identified workmanship issues Clear communication and written documentation acknowledging unresolved concerns Removal of any pressure to sign satisfaction or completion forms until all agreed-upon repairs are completed We selected Power Home Remodeling because of your stated values and homeowner guarantees. At this time, those standards have not been met. We are requesting corrective action that aligns with what was originally promised and paid for.”

“I had a front door install and 3 windows, really 6 windows since they are connected. They did not even do the door. They sent several appointments. I am in the military, making it hard to take off. They set different appoints to get measurements right so that the installation would go smoothly. They mis measured not one, not twice, but three times. The day of installation came and they said they couldn't do it. They just said it was give and take, they are humans and make mistakes. They did nothing to prove satisfaction, they wouldn't even waive my credit card fee. They wanted out of their side of the contract. If I were to have decided the day before that I no longer want the door or windows, I wouldn't have been able to get out of my side of the contract. So why did Power get off Scott free. They only offered a sorry. They showed no remorse and honestly seemed like they did not care. I told the guys that were here that it was not their fault, but I do feel like I deserve some compensation for all the appointments for no reason. They just said at least they did the windows. I could have gone with another window company. I could have taken my hard-earned money to Maverick. I only went with Power because they were throwing in a door. I should have gone with Maverick. They did not keep their word.”
