“We loved our windows (first purchase). But the roof was another story. The prices are higher than average; and they use high pressure sales. You’re rushed to get paperwork signed, and everything is done with auto pens; so you don’t really get to read everything and THINK about it. We called to cancel within the three days, and our sales guy came back out. We talked again, and signed what I thought was a NEW contract. Then we started getting information from their finance division and decided just to scrap the whole thing and go local. Lo and behold, they had NOT canceled the first contract and it was too late to cancel now. So the roof was scheduled to go on. The office told us they would be there about 8am. At 6:30am we were awakened by people clomping on our roof. The dogs and cats went crazy! I tried to take the dogs out to go to the bathroom. One of the dogs panicked and someone opened a gate. She was gone for over 3 hours. The roof and installation are good, but it was NOT a pleasant experience. They put down tarps and used a magnet to look for nails, but it wasn’t a great job. I have picked up a small can full of roofing nails. We have had to replace 2 tractor tires, get 2 patched and one has a nail again. And it cost us $13,000 MORE than it would have for the same roof locally.”

“After the last job Power did for me, I would have given five stars but this time there were some problems. First, the crew showed up an hour later than expected. I guess they didn’t factor in travel time. The work was fine and on-site crew good, especially the young guy who spoke English who could communicate with me. Others all fine, but when I went to check everything the blinds inside one side of the sliding door would not raise and lower properly. One of the crew tried and tried but couldn’t get it to work & they said someone would need to come back with a new magnet. When they called to schedule, it was going to be several weeks & that made me unhappy with blinds half up & heat coming in the rooms. There seemed to be very little concern about making it right and they started talking about it being a warranty claims instead of just completing the install. After I pushed they scheduled a guy to come out about a week later & he did, but couldn’t fix it. I asked if they were going to charge me since last time I used Power there was a satisfaction guarantee & I wasn’t charged till the job was complete. I specifically told him I would like to pay by credit card and incur the 3% fee since I wanted the points. He shoved a piece of paper under my nose that he said needed to be signed and assured me they wouldn’t be charging me yet & that I could call the office and provide a credit card. I was adamant about this and several times he assured me they were not charging me immediately & I should just sign. Against my better judgment, I signed & within an hour receives a notice via the app that I was being charged. I immediately called the office and was told it was too late to change the method of payment. I was very upset that the guy lied to my face, and it bothered me that there would no longer be any sense of urgency on getting things fixed once payment was made. I was right! I was told someone would call me the next day to tell me when a new door could be put in. Three business days later I finally got a call and they told me that door wouldn’t be replaced for a month! I’m an unhappy customer and sorry that things have changed so much with Power, especially since I had been recommending. The company to all my friends and family till this job. I will not be writing a positive Google review.”
