“I liked the product. I liked the service. What I was not as fond of is every time someone came in to check on something after the job was done, or before it was done, after knowing I only wanted a particular thing, is they ask to look at other things in your house. They offer to fix it, but the problem is you have to respond that same day, and if you are not prepared, and I certainly was not, it can be expensive. They will want to do the work, and the price is good compared to what I know of other companies with comparable products, because it is a big expense. For example, I like to pay upfront. I do not like loans offered at like 19% or 10%. I was not prepared to actually have a good feeling about whether or not I could respond at that time. It was a one time offer at that big discount, and it made me uncomfortable that happened the first time when I asked for quote on one window and they wanted to look at and replace every window in the house, and I could not pull that off. I finally settled on doing several windows, and and then he wanted to replace my gutters, and he offered a good price, but I had not looked at my finances, so I had to say no. It would be nice if they were coming out they would tell me they are going to to look at other things in my home, and make an offer to fix things, then I would have been prepared in advance to see if I could pay for things. The first time they were here for 4 hours, and I had not planned for that. I could not get things done that day. I would have given them a 5 if they told me how long they would be here, and I would have had time to prepare and look at my finances.”

“My rating is mainly based on the customer service. Everyone who has come to the house has been unique in their own way, and what’s great is that they’re all people‑oriented. They can talk with you while still getting the job done, and they make sure you understand everything that’s happening. They walk you through the process, explain how the windows work, and show you how to use them.”
“To be honest, I would have given Power Home Remodeling a rating of 5, but some of the behavior and practices lowered that. Specifically what I'm referring to is the purchase of the door 5 years ago. Then we went back to purchase another door like it and found that the manufacturer had changed, so we couldn't get it like for like, and there were problems with this and unanswered questions with that. We liked the door and the quality of the product, but then what we experienced in this particular situation is that after the sale and installation, someone came out to inspect it, and the inspection was in fact a follow-up trying to sell additional stuff, so we ended up in a lengthy discussion about trying to install windows, which was unnecessary. So, I really did not appreciate the follow-up attempt to upsell with additional stuff; that's why it's difficult for me to give a good, clean answer, which is why I'm neutral. The product quality is pretty high, and the practice was disappointing. I'm being generous by rating it a 3. The question is, would I recommend Power? I would love to recommend them because their delivery is excellent, but I really didn't like the business practice on this one.”

They all went over everything with us and they all said the same thing. The communication was phenomenal. I told many people who knew we were taking on this project that the experience was fantastic. The experience was so fantastic, we are getting our doors and gutters redone. Because they did such an excellent job, we are using this company to come back and do other projects.”
