“We loved our windows (first purchase). But the roof was another story. The prices are higher than average; and they use high pressure sales. You’re rushed to get paperwork signed, and everything is done with auto pens; so you don’t really get to read everything and THINK about it. We called to cancel within the three days, and our sales guy came back out. We talked again, and signed what I thought was a NEW contract. Then we started getting information from their finance division and decided just to scrap the whole thing and go local. Lo and behold, they had NOT canceled the first contract and it was too late to cancel now. So the roof was scheduled to go on. The office told us they would be there about 8am. At 6:30am we were awakened by people clomping on our roof. The dogs and cats went crazy! I tried to take the dogs out to go to the bathroom. One of the dogs panicked and someone opened a gate. She was gone for over 3 hours. The roof and installation are good, but it was NOT a pleasant experience. They put down tarps and used a magnet to look for nails, but it wasn’t a great job. I have picked up a small can full of roofing nails. We have had to replace 2 tractor tires, get 2 patched and one has a nail again. And it cost us $13,000 MORE than it would have for the same roof locally.”
