We just moved into our house and tried to give our daughter a bath just to realize we didn’t have any hot water. Dominic was great. He was helpful and extremely knowledgeable bringing almost 3 decades of experience and expertise. He made a stressful situation better with solution options and delivered amazing results. Thank you from my family and I.

We contacted David Gray Plumbing on February 25, 2026 to replace our 22-year-old water heater and softener system, and overall had a very positive experience. A representative, Raphael, scheduled an appointment for the following day. He arrived as scheduled, conducted a walkthrough, discussed our requirements, and presented a reasonably priced, detailed proposal. We accepted the proposal, paid a 50% deposit, and scheduled installation for March 4, 2026. On the scheduled date, the installation team included an electrician (Tyler and an assistant) and a plumber/installer (Erik). The project experienced an initial issue related to the electrical portion of the work. Upon arrival, the electrician asked for clarification regarding the scope of work. As this information was included in the proposal, I suggested he contact the office. Instead, I connected him directly with the salesperson. Following that discussion, I was informed that the electrical installation would be surface-mounted using exterior conduit and a wall-mounted box. This differed from my understanding, which was for a flush-mounted 110V outlet installed within the wall, consistent with existing outlets in the garage. I was advised that the requested installation would result in a $900 upcharge. I again suggested confirming with the office; however, this was declined. The outlet was ultimately installed as requested. Later, it was discovered that the additional charge had been added to the final invoice remaining balance. Additionally, a portion of the wall above the electrical panel was opened to route wiring. This was understandable, as a similar but smaller opening had been made and repaired during a previous project. However, I was informed that drywall repair was not included and would likely be an additional charge. It would have been helpful to be advised at that time that the company offers drywall repair services. The plumbing installation performed by Erik was excellent. The tankless water heater, comfort valve, whole-house filtration system, and water softener were installed with a high level of workmanship. All questions were answered thoroughly, and system operation was clearly explained, including the expected learning period for optimizing hot water delivery. The work area was left clean, and all old equipment was removed. When the final payment was presented, the additional electrical charge was identified. Erik contacted the office, and the charge was promptly removed. Subsequently, Amanda from the office followed up to arrange drywall repair, which was completed by their contractor to a high standard at no additional charge. After approximately three weeks of use, we are very satisfied with the system’s performance. With the exception of the initial electrical misunderstanding, all personnel were professional, courteous, and responsive in addressing concerns. Based on the overall experience and final outcome, we would recommend David Gray Electrical, Plumbing, Heating & Air.

Was having a problem with two sets of exterior spot lights. Tyler was able to change an outlet which fixed one set, and diagnosed and gave me an estimate to replace the transformer for the other set. The service was done quickly and professionally. Purchased the necessary transformer and will make an appointment for the installation after I return from a trip. A job well done. Update: Tyler came and replaced the transformer today. He arrived early and finished promptly, which was great as I had other errands to run. Both sets of lights are working great and sensors set up.

To the manager, Totally UNSAT job from David Gray Plumbing Jacksonville!! Job was not complete and sir, please don't overcharge Seniors who barely live on a retirement paycheck. . You connected two elbow PVCs to the new back flow preventer and glued to the standig PVC posts. Supplies Estimated cost: $20.00. I provided you the parts that I purchased from one of your suppliers for $330.00. This new unit needs test certification for submssion to JEA immediately upon installation.. Cresta, your clerk said that I have to pay another $99.00 to get it certified, why i have to pay again?? You know, I have no assurance that Irrigation water will not flow back to contaminate my House POTABLE water unless certified. HEALTH HAZARD sir.. I can't wait another 10 months for JEA to perform their annual test certification. In addition, your technician refused to insulate the new unit to prevent damage from future freezing temperature He said I have to do it myself.. I know I hired your for that. Should I have known, I would have said to the technician not to proceed. !!STOP!!! I paid your services $508.25.. Material less that $20.00 Labor? $508.25 with out you providing the BackFlow preventer is exorbitant. I dont mind what I paid you, if youre willing to test certified or insulated it, which give me peace of mind.. NOTE: What you did forced me to canvass around on a similar job. They said the whole job would be less that $600.00 which include backflow preventer, PVC connectors and certification that they provide Yes sir, I believed I was overcharged with incompleted job. I called your office 2 times wihtout any feed back, so I have to do this. Thank you Sir, and God bless you. Very respectfully Wenceslao
