I recently had Ideal Air Conditioning replace my old Rheem packaged HVAC unit with a new Trane dual-stage packaged heat pump system, and the entire experience exceeded my expectations from start to finish. Brian was outstanding throughout the process. He took detailed measurements, discussed airflow and duct sizing concerns, provided fair and transparent pricing, and was extremely responsive whenever I had questions. What really impressed me was his willingness to perform a full Manual J load calculation instead of just throwing in a system based on rule-of-thumb sizing. That level of professionalism and attention to detail gave me a lot of confidence in the recommendation. Honestly, Brian is like the Fonzie of air conditioning: knowledgeable, calm, confident, and just effortlessly good at what he does, and everything was "correctamundo." The installation crew, Mike and Ian, were equally impressive. They arrived early, worked incredibly efficiently, and clearly took pride in doing the job the right way rather than the fastest way. They replaced and upsized duct drops and returns, improved the condensate line setup, carefully explained the settings and operation of the new Trane thermostat, and made sure everything was clean and properly configured before leaving. The new system is dramatically quieter than my old unit and cooled the house almost immediately during startup. I can really tell the difference in airflow and overall comfort already. It’s rare these days to find a company where sales, design, and installation all feel this coordinated and professional. I would absolutely recommend Ideal Air Conditioning to anyone looking for quality work and people who genuinely care about doing the job correctly.

I recently had Ideal Air Conditioning & Insulation replace my AC system and add ductwork. The installation crew did a fantastic job — they were thorough, professional, and clearly skilled. The new return they installed greatly improved static pressure, and the system now operates much more efficiently. Their pricing was competitive compared to other bids I received, and they offered a strong overall value for the work performed. That said, I did run into a few bumps during the process. Coordinating with my home warranty company proved difficult — Ideal did provide diagnostic information, but follow-through on some requests and communication around those requests could have been smoother. On one of my early calls, the person who answered sounded a bit annoyed, and on subsequent calls I’ve occasionally felt like my call might be inconveniencing them. Also, while their website lists “24-hour service,” it’s not obvious that this is meant for emergency situations only, and their standard business hours aren’t made clear online. Overall, though, I’m happy with the quality of the installation and the results. I’m confident the improvements will pay off in comfort and performance, and I appreciate the team’s skill and professionalism.

I cannot recommend this company highly enough! This is the second time we've used them and the second time I've been impressed. Their previous visit was the day after another company came out, spent more than five hours examining our AC before declaring it unfix-able and quoting us thousands of dollars for a replacement. When the technician from Ideal came out he had it fixed in minutes and it was so simple he didn't charge us any more than the service call. Ideal saved us that day and I will never forget it! The service we had this Memorial day was also an example of their exemplary service. I called them late on Sunday evening when our AC went out and not only did I reach a real human person after hours on a weekend, but she had a technician out first thing in the morning. She even remembered that we were previous clients when she heard our name! We'd only used them once and it was months ago! They didn't charge us extra for coming out right away, nor did they charge us for coming out on a holiday. I love that prior to the technician arriving we were sent a text message with his picture and details about him. I'm always a little nervous about letting strangers into my home, so I love this added security measure! The technician, CJ, was kind, professional, and efficient. Even though the repair wasn't nearly as simple as last time, he had all the parts he needed in his van and just like last time, Ideal had my AC up and running very quickly. I will never call another company for my HVAC needs!

I had a great experience with this company! We had a LOT of work done at our house to reinsulate our house, correct duct work issues, and correct some issues with our AC air handler setup. All of the workers I spoke with were pleasant and informative when answering all the questions I had. The team worked efficiently and finished the project in two days, as they originally quoted. Communications with the main office were always pleasant and easy. Since the work has been completed, I have noticed an immediate improvement in the performance of my home's ability to stay cool, even in the hot 115° AZ weather. The ductwork functions much better now and the airflow feels much stronger than it used to be at the vents.

Matthew was great! Efficient, knowledgeable, and respectful. Plus his diagnostics of the issue, came fairly quickly. Keep up the good work!!! I highly recommend them. To conclude, he offered not just one, but three different ways to go about servicing my A/C. That was highly appreciated.
