Ideal Air Conditioning and Insulation

Review for Bruce’s and Savage since Savage purchased Bruce’s I had Bruce’s AC out in May for service and ended up purchasing a maintenance package along with a blower motor cleaning, panel insulation and general maintenance. Unfortunately, the experience has gone downhill from there. About four months later, the insulation they installed started peeling away and falling into the blower area. When I called for service, I specifically requested a different technician because I had already been unhappy with the original technician, Tristen. He had left garbage behind in my attic and had also told me he was going to remove the blower and clean it outside in the backyard, which never happened. What made the insulation issue even more frustrating was speaking with Eli, the service manager, who told me this type of insulation is known to fail. I was also told condensation may be the reason the insulation failed. That raises the same basic question: if condensation is a known issue in this application and this material is known to fail under those conditions, why was it recommended and installed in the first place? When I scheduled the follow-up, I was told Mike was one of their best technicians and would be sent out to help resolve everything. Instead, Tristen showed up again despite specifically asking for someone else. Between the poor workmanship, work that was discussed but apparently never completed, trash being left in my attic, a product being sold that management later acknowledged has a history of failing, condensation being blamed for the failure even though that should have been considered before installation and my request for a different technician being ignored, I’ve lost confidence in Bruce’s AC. I purchased a maintenance package expecting dependable service and a company that would stand behind its work. That has not been my experience. You’ll see in the photos the adhesive never adhered to the surface, screws left off the panel, and garbage left behind. I received a refund of $61.00 from the $250 maintenance package and nothing from the failed insulation, garbage left behind, and sub-par work.

Ideal Air Conditioning exceeded our expectations from start to finish. Eric, Jeremy, Ruben, and Rigo did an outstanding job insulating our attic and installing a new 5-ton Trane HVAC system on our roof. They even added a new vent to the hottest room in our house, which has made a noticeable difference. The entire project was completed in less than two days, and the price was very reasonable for the quality mid-tier Trane system we received. The crew was professional, efficient, and took pride in their work. I highly recommend Ideal Air Conditioning and will definitely be calling them again for any future air conditioning needs.

I’ve had the privilege of having Robert service my home twice, and both experiences have been exceptional. He is attentive, knowledgeable, and incredibly thorough. He took the time to explain what was happening, helped me understand the issue, and knew exactly what needed to be done to get it resolved. What stood out most was his professionalism and genuine care for doing the job right. Having the same great experience on two separate occasions says a lot about the consistency and quality of his work. Robert is a wonderful example of how a company should take care of its customers. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 10/10 Experience! Nixaelen was absolutely amazing. She took the time to walk me through the entire process and made sure I understood what was happening every step of the way. She arrived right on time + professional, friendly, incredibly respectful, and clearly very knowledgeable. Her patience and willingness to answer my questions made the experience stress-free. I’d also like to thank the reception staff for their assistance—they were just as kind and helpful. Overall, this was a 10/10 experience, and I highly recommend using their services. I was serviced initially by Ideal Air conditioning service techs — Matthew and Robert. They were very knowledgeable, professional and thorough with their assessment as to what was needed to repair my unit. They will need to return in order to complete this job as several parts are needed in order to repair the unit. I usually use another seasoned tech but due to the travel distance he was not able to service my unit. Matthew and Robert were able to promptly come to my rescue and on such a short notice. They are part of a company that is located close to my dwellings. I look forward to building a long lasting and professional relationship with them, especially these two technicians!
