I had a hard time finding someone both qualified and willing to do build-back work (furring strips, vapor barrier, drywall and texture) following mold remediation in my living room. The Handyman Company was very responsive so I went with them. They scheduled someone to come out to start the job within a couple of days of me accepting the proposal. Patrick worked full days and did a lot of work to put everything back so you could barely tell the walls had been cut out and gutted. He kept everything very clean throughout the process. I recommend Patrick. I attached a photo of a portion of the finished job. (Priming and painting wasn’t in the scope of work. I’m doing that myself.) The only complaint I have is the person who quoted the job (not Patrick) under-quoted materials by a lot. The actual materials I was billed for were more than double the estimate, but I looked at the receipts and the overages were bad estimating, not bad purchases. Edit: Within a few days of job completion several of the drywall seams cracked. I called The Handyman Company for a warranty claim. They sent Patrick back out to fix it. I asked Patrick to remove the mesh tape that he used on those seams and replace it with the paper tape that I already had. He said that was too much work and he wasn't going to do that. Instead he caulked the cracks, which I'm not pleased with.

I had a fantastic experience working with The Handyman Company in Orlando. They sent a Craftsman named Patrick J. to my home to repair the base of the guest bathroom toilet and a picnic table that needed reinforcement and painting. He showed up right on time, came fully prepared, and got straight to work. What I appreciated most was how professional, friendly, and detail-oriented he was. Patrick took special care to clean and remove the previous material that held the toilet in place. He then installed all new material. The project was immaculate. Patrick then went to my backyard and completed the picnic table repairs. The results were excellent—everything looks and works perfectly now. His pricing was fair; he cleaned up thoroughly after the job and even took the time to explain what he was doing so I’d know how to maintain it. It’s rare to find someone so dependable and skilled these days, and I’ll definitely be calling him and The Handyman Company again for future projects. Highly recommended!

We've been looking for a handyman to take care of some things around the house, but we kept getting the runaround from those we contacted. I found the Handyman Company in the Orange County Five-Star-Rated directory and called them on a Thursday. They returned my call on Monday, had an incredible handyman out on Tuesday, and he just finished some repairs on our front doorframe today (Wednesday). I cannot say enough good things about everyone with this company! Definitely will call again should we need a helping hand!

We had a great experience with this company. Charlie managed our project and he did an excellent job. In our master bath we had our shower completely redone, and a new vanity top, light fixture, and fan installed and in our guest bathroom we had a new light fixture and fan installed. They worked with our schedule, worked efficiently, did a great job, and were very accommodating about the few minor issues we wanted fixed up (literally just some sanding, caulking, sealing in a few spots). We highly recommend this company to anyone looking to do improve their home--no job is too big or small. :)

Brian and Jorge were professionalism tradesmen. They performed a siding replacement on our house. The job took a little longer than expected. The house was also built in 1948 so I was expecting some hangups not knowing what was behind the siding. I would highly recommend.
