I did not have a great experience with this company, despite the personal recommendation that led me to them. When we spoke about the project over the phone and scheduled a time, I had to make a $180 deposit just to get on their calendar. Since they couldn't schedule it for two weeks, I asked, "If I find another contractor before then and cancel, I would receive a refund of this deposit, yes?" and there was just silence on the other end, followed by "Let's just make this work." Not a great beginning. The work was done well. It was a siding repair on my 2nd level on a small section that had fallen off in a storm. The contractors took their time moving their things back from my backyard to their vehicle, and doing paperwork, all before "pressing stop" on the job - conveniently making it exactly 4 hours long. Therefore, I paid at least $70 (one half hour at their hourly rate) for time that was not direct work. Then they threw in a $140 "high ladder fee" which had not been mentioned either in the phone conversation/estimate (when it was clear that they would need to work on a "high ladder" given what the job was) or before he started the job. All in all, the work was done well, but if you are looking for transparent pricing and clear communication, look elsewhere.

Nov. 2025 - One window well was leaking. When the work got underway we discovered the base the windows rested on was WOOD that had rotted away after 30 years. All 5 window wells required repairs. Handyman dug them out, replaced the rotted wood with brick and mortar, resealed the new work, lowered the stone beds, replaced the corroded well walls, and installed covers.

Hambleton did a great job with my home projects. Over the years that I have used them, I have never been disappointed with their services and especially appreciate their ease of scheduling and attention to detail. Hambleton craftsman JP in particular did a fantastic job! His attention to detail and overall skill and professionalism was outstanding. Will definitely use Hambleton in the future and look forward to working with JP (and the rest of team) again!

I had the pleasure to work with Frank LoBianco at my Leesburg home. I just had my jack and jill bathroom remodeled. But needed key final touches to look A+. I had it inspected before and they found out a small gap in between the vanity the wall. He found a filler piece exactly what I was looking for and would have taken lots my time if I didn't have Frank. Frank also found a shoe floor molding that matched my engineering hardware floor next to the bathroom. Frank easily exceeds expectations. He has clearly done this for a while. I will specifically request for him in the future. Frank should especially be used if you're about to sell your home or if a buyer comes back with findings. He will address them.

Very big fan! Daniel Remmey was excellent. Did a wonderful job patching a hole in the ceiling and did a bunch of odds and ends -- very versatile and able to tackle any task. Also, was great at explaining everything and overall a smart, funny guy to talk with. Hamblin also made scheduling very easy, sending Daniel out fast and giving me updates about what times work etc... Big fan and will definitely use again. Especially Daniel!
