This review might sound crazy but it is the gods honest truth. I hired Hambleton Handyman to do some major repairs on my house which had been infested by termites. They sent Mr. Barrera who did absolutely outstanding work. He was extremely thorough in explaining what needed done, how it would be done, AND why. He gave me a multitude of options for solutions to many issues that needed repaired, he was honest and did not try to upsell me on unnecessary work, he was super knowledgeable, and the work was very reasonably priced. I could ramble on forever about the positives but I genuinely can not think of one single negative of choosing this company to do my job. I can not say the same for any other company I've ever hired, I have had some unfortunate experiences with many others. I am flabbergasted by just how good this company is compared to everyone else and particularly Mr. Beymar Barrera, he is an absolute saint. Every single thing about this experience was completely painless and instead, it was actually a pleasure. I even learned a lot as Mr. Barrera was more than happy to explain things in extreme detail whenever I asked any questions. Though I tried not to pester him too much cause he had work to do haha. I even asked some real curveball questions and he had correct answers for all of them. Everything was done in an timely fashion yet it wasn't rushed. Quality was clearly the priority. I even added a couple of extra things to the list when I saw the caliber of work that was being done. At the end of every day Mr. Barrera left my house spotless. I've never seen any other company on a multi day job clean up so well and so quickly. It was actually cleaner than before he ever showed up. That fact alone shows the amount of pride this gentleman takes in his work. After the job was complete I was so impressed that I'm now in the process of having them come back to remodel several rooms that are in dire need of repair. As long as this company continues the path they are currently following I will never even think about calling anyone else when I need work done. P.S. keep in mind if you look through the photos I specifically requested that Mr. Barrera not do the finish work, painting, or trim. I plan on doing that myself. Not to save money or anything, cause they are already very well priced, I just want to take my time and do a fun multi-colored scheme on the fly.

Luis was a fantastic craftsman. He did flawless work and he was so neat and tidy. He communicated throughout the job about where things stood and he was a pleasure to work with. He even helped me save costs by using some paint that we had leftover from prior work. I wouldn’t hesitate to work with him again. I also really appreciated that Hambleton fit me on the schedule fairly last minute because I was in a rush to get the job done!

I contacted this company for a variety of different work that needed to be done. The tv hanging went fine. Then I needed a kitchen island trash drawer repaired. The drawer bars he replaced were installed too far back. The drawer does not extend out fully. In this process he managed to chip a piece of wooed off the front of kitchen island. This piece cannot be replaced or repaired and believe me I have tried several different options to get this piece replaced/repaired. Then it was on to hanging several shades. He could not figure out how to do this other than drilling into the glass behind the outline of the window. Feeling uncomfortable about this I told him I would rather do this at another time. So onto painting the patio ceiling. He painted everything but around the fan and the lights and told said he had to wait an hour to do the second coat. I told himI couldn't have him waiting around an hour to do this. There was nothing else to for him to do. After giving a less than favorable review I was contacted by the office as to why. So I told the person why. the reply he usuuallyis very good, he must have been having an off day. Sent photo of the instructions for the shades. Easy to read instructions with pictures. Agreed to have another person come out. Upon arrival I was told he wouldn't be able to get very much done because it was late in the day. Ok, so I him what was done and not done. Then going over everything I was told the drawer was not other persons fault. Then I was given a ridiculous quote and told I would not be charged the total amount. Some of the total would be deducted for what had fixed. Do these people think I am going to accept a quote that is not exact. I will not have this company back. If the work cannot be done to satisfaction without damage why would I.

Company staff is courteous, organized, experienced and efficient. I was very impressed by head scheduler, Michael’s willingness and ability to work around my schedule to get to get the job done. I was even more impressed with technician, Tristan, who took the time to explain to me exactly what need to be done, how it was to be done and what he needed to get the job done. He got the job done and under budget. Tristan was especially conscientious about returning unused materials and passing the savings along to me. The work was done very professionally and the cleanup was complete.

Initially I spoke with Justin who was very professional. He explained the steps and the deposit. Normally i do not pay a deposit before getting an estimate or any work is done. Based on my comfort I did. When the day came waiting for Oz the dispatcher to send a handy man to my home on Monday expecting the person to come to my house on Tuesday and Wednesday as I was going out of town on Thursday. About 4:00 ln on Wednesday Oz called. I explained to him based on my call with Justine the work would be done by Wednesday. They failed. Them Oz kept trying to out talk me and was very condescending. He suggested they could send a person the following week. I said that was not in my plans. I told him they failed to deliver based on initial plans/ agreement. As he kept trying to out talk me I felt less and leas comfortable. I asked for s refund since they did not keep the agreement. He said NO. So i hung up. They a few minutes later he called me saying he could send a person as far as 6 months out on my deposit. Do not use. That is probably how they stay in business getting deposits and not doing the job. If you dont want to waist your money. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!!
