I had the pleasure to work with Frank LoBianco at my Leesburg home. I just had my jack and jill bathroom remodeled. But needed key final touches to look A+. I had it inspected before and they found out a small gap in between the vanity the wall. He found a filler piece exactly what I was looking for and would have taken lots my time if I didn't have Frank. Frank also found a shoe floor molding that matched my engineering hardware floor next to the bathroom. Frank easily exceeds expectations. He has clearly done this for a while. I will specifically request for him in the future. Frank should especially be used if you're about to sell your home or if a buyer comes back with findings. He will address them.

After being loyal customers of Hambleton Handyman for over seven years, my wife and I were stunned by the level of disrespect and disorganization we recently experienced. We hired them to investigate and repair a leak in our staircase ceiling. The technician who came out was personable and competent, he identified the issue as a leak from a UV pipe connected to our attic HVAC unit, cut a square section of the ceiling, and secured the leak. So far, so good. But then the problems began. He was supposed to return the next day, or the day after to patch the drywall. Not only did he fail to return, but he also took the drywall piece with him without informing us. We assumed it was to match the paint, even though we had already shown him the correct paint, and he agreed it was sufficient. That assumption turned out to be generous. The company then rescheduled twice, each time pushing the repair further into the future. When we expressed frustration, they told us the technician was on another job, and that their policy is to “finish a job once they start it.” That’s rich, considering they started our job and left it incomplete. When we asked for our drywall piece back so we could hire someone else, they suddenly offered to send someone out immediately, if we promised to keep using their service. This proved they could have resolved the issue earlier but chose not to. And in lieu of such a request, we declined. No apology. No discount. No accountability. And now, weeks later, they still haven’t returned the drywall piece or contacted us again. This is not just poor service; it is manipulative and unprofessional. We’ve paid for work that remains unfinished, and we’re left with a hole in our ceiling and a bitter taste in our mouths. We even shared this review with the company's President before posting to see if there would be any managerial input, but there was no response at all. Avoid Hambleton Handyman if you value reliability, integrity, or basic customer respect.

Nov. 2025 - One window well was leaking. When the work got underway we discovered the base the windows rested on was WOOD that had rotted away after 30 years. All 5 window wells required repairs. Handyman dug them out, replaced the rotted wood with brick and mortar, resealed the new work, lowered the stone beds, replaced the corroded well walls, and installed covers.

Would not recommend this company to anyone Scoped installing door hardware and gave ample pictures and description. Said it would take 30 minutes and recommended I find some quick jobs to add to get to the full hour. Full job ended up taking 3 hrs and charged an extra 30 minutes when my wife call this out the handyman told her to take it up with the office. Quoted $180 ended at $540. Would never have chosen them if appropriately scoped - seems like they look they underestimate time at the upfront so they can increase their billing hours. Escalated this to the office who left a voicemail during work hours - not interested in solving this in any other method conducive to a working schedule. Read into the reviews and regret it.

David Garcia Orozco is an absolute gem! He has done a lot of work for me and I am very happy with his service. He takes on everything I've asked of him, projects big and small, and done them all very well. My house is over 140 years old, so there is no end to projects that can be done, and often when David is working on something I requested he will uncover something else that needs to be done. He always explains and shows me why the additional work should be done and I've never felt that he is just trying to get me to spend more money needlessly, but that his skill and experience are such that he can identify things I would not have known about without him. He often suggests several options for ways to handle a repair, and the pros and cons, and explains why he thinks one option would be the way he would choose to go. I trust that his knowledge of so many different kinds of projects is worth taking his recommendations. He is an incredibly hard worker, often staying long days, after arriving very early in the morning, despite living pretty far from me. Another aspect of working with Hambleton Handyman that I really appreciated was how they handled things when something did go a bit wrong. I'd requested David to do the work this time as he'd been so great in the past. But he was on another project and wouldn't be available for a while so they sent another handyman. For several reasons this handyman was not a good match for the work I needed done and I left a message with the office at 4:30 on New Year's Eve about wanting to switch and wait for David to be available. I was able to get someone on the phone and my request was met and I was told I would get a call back from someone else regarding the service I was not happy with. I expected it to take a while to get a response and for it to be a hassle to get resolution, as is the case with most companies. So I was pleasantly surprised when I got a return call very quickly when they re-opened Jan 2 and the issue I had was immediately addressed and a resolution that was very fair was suggested by them. It is definitely a huge positive to find a company that resolves issues quickly and fairly as now and then issues are bound to happen in any job. Another positive with Hambleton Handyman is that their communication is excellent. I received multiple timely calls and messages about arranging work, and when the handyman would be available. He always showed up on time so there was no waiting around for someone to show up in some long time window.
