I had a roof replaced a few years back to repair a leak. The leak was not addressed and instead of repairing the leak they dump the problem on the so called warranty that they sell. Which really only covers the actual shingles replacement nothing else so please read the fine print because you have to pay for that also. Now I'm stuck paying more money for a problem I already paid to get repaired. But the salesperson I had was very professional.

I hired Hynes Construction to handle roofing repairs after we had ice dam damage this winter. They were professional from start to finish. The team was prompt, communicated clearly about what needed to be done, and completed the work efficiently. They cleaned up thoroughly after the job and the repairs have held up well. I appreciated their expertise and would recommend them to anyone needing roofing work in the area.

The crew who worked on our deck was excellent. The actual workmanship was very good, and the workers themselves were professional, detail-oriented, and easy to deal with. Unfortunately, the communication and follow-through from management after the contract was signed was terrible. Steve is personable and responsive during the contractor selection phase, but once the job was secured, that changed completely. The only times I could reliably get a response were when additional work was “discovered” that required more money, or when payment pickup needed to be coordinated. When it came to ongoing delays and getting the project completed — specifically the railing installation they repeatedly blamed on delivery issues — getting any communication from anyone became nearly impossible. We were given at least three different installation dates for the railing, including one personally confirmed by the owner, Jonathan, after I happened to run into him outside our condo. None of those dates were honored. At one point, I was sitting home on a Saturday afternoon waiting for updates after being told in writing by Steve that the railing would be installed Friday or Saturday. Friday came and went with no installation and not even a courtesy call. By Saturday, after multiple calls to the office, several texts, and repeated calls to Steve, there was still no response. Meanwhile, the temporary railing situation was completely unsafe and made our condo look like a construction hazard with yellow caution tape everywhere. To make matters worse, we had already fully paid for the railing because it was added to the original contract and the company required full payment with the second installment. The railing was eventually installed, but only after repeated calls and an extremely frustrating conversation with Michelle, during which she told me three separate times, “I don’t care,” in response to my concerns. Based on some of the company’s responses to dissatisfied customers online, I doubt our experience was unique. It’s unfortunate because the crew’s work deserved praise, but the lack of communication, constant delays, and dismissive treatment from management overshadowed the entire experience.
