They did an amazing job. Very respectful of our house by wearing shoe covers on our hard wood floors. They laid down covers and all. After they were done, they vacuumed up and cleaned up after themselves. It was a true white glove experience. They showed me all the features of the windows. I’ve been extremely satisfied from start to finished. Would highly recommend them!

We are extremely pleased with our experience with Thompson Creek (TC). David was our sales representative, and we questioned him extensively about the materials, costs and installation process. He answered all our questions to our satisfaction. We received a quote for 13 double hung windows and one picture window. Jorge, customer success coordinator, communicated (email, text, phone) with us. We found out that our town requires a local work permit for window replacement. No problem, we sent a copy of the form and when the preconstruction manager, Antoine, came to verify measurements, he also handled the town permit and fee so we would be in compliance. On the day of installation, it rained on and off all morning. No problem for TC. The crew arrived 10 minutes early and the windows were removed and installed in under 2.5 hours, with respective cap work, caulking, and cleanup to be completed. We were impressed with their seamless installation process. The 3-person crew were professional and respectful of our home. Luckily, the rain stopped and all the windows were cleaned and spotless. We noticed our home is MUCH better insulated and the temperature remains constant. The new windows have elevated the comfort and curb appeal of our home. We feel we received a quality product and excellent customer service. We have one tempered window that was recently installed and not replaced. If we do decide in the future to replace it, it will be TC.

I was simply amazed by my experience with Thompson Creek. They were professional, experienced and the cost was reasonable. We had a situation where we needed a sliding glass door replaced. The prior one, installed by a big box stores, apparently was not installed correctly and was allowing water to seek into the Family Room. It had damaged our sub-flooring as well. Thompson Creek installed the door and replaced all the wood beneath the door. I watched them through the installation and it was a high quality job. From the quote process to the installation, and their priduct itself, their service and priduct was amazing! Lessons learned is that you "think" you may be saving money utilizing a big box stores to buy and install your doors or windows, but you may pay for it later due to their inexperience and the fact that their installers may not be competent.

These guys were fantastic. They arrived early and finish the job within a couple of hours while I was working from home. Extremely professional people who took their time but yet also insured that every step of the way I was satisfied and triple checked with me what we were installing was in fact what I ordered which was a reassuring. Dwayne was the most knowledgeable Builder I have spoken to in a long time so I do hope if you can move with Ford with these guys you sure get him on your project.

I’m writing this for future customers and current management. I was once a huge fan and supporter of Thompson Creek as my wife and I have spent over $40,000 with the company over the last 5 years. This would include replacing the siding, gutters, windows and all doors to the home. We’ve had excellent customer service with the sale and installation of the product but now that we need to use the warranty for the product we are being informed that we must pay to have our storm door fixed after a storm. Thompson Creek product could not survive a Maryland storm and the storm door completely blew open and destroyed the entire door to the point that pieces have broken off and are currently hanging from the frame. This has become a safety concern and an issue for our HOA. When I contacted Thompson Creek customer service I spoke to a Aubryana Galloway who advised that Thompson Creek would not warranty my storm door and that I must pay again to have the door installed. My question I asked was why would I pay to have a door installed again with inferior quality just to have it break again? During the sales transaction, I was informed that Thompson Creek had a warranty that would cover any issues except if I intentionally broke the items. I was also told, these products could withstand mid Atlantic weather but yet it could not withstand a Maryland storm. Although we were sold on the belief that Thompson Creek provided impact-resistant windows and doors to help prepare our home for storms. Per Thompson Creeks website “Whether you’re upgrading your siding, windows, or doors, Thompson Creek offers custom solutions designed to withstand Mid-Atlantic storms while enhancing your home’s beauty, energy efficiency, and value.” * Reinforced multi-point locking systems for increased security. * Double-pane and triple-pane glass for energy efficiency and durability. * Custom-fitted frames to eliminate water leaks and infiltration. * Energy Star-certified materials for reduced utility costs. * Expert installation to maximize storm readiness. These statements and standards are clearly a thing of the past. I will no longer recommend Thompson Creek to my community at the next HOA meeting or to my coworkers. I will instead inform them of my experience and Thompson Creek adjusted standards.

"1st quote sales quy said over $2300 for storm door which convinced us to spend $4k and replace entry door instead. HOA wouldn't approve so we had to adjust - 2nd sales guy said $1500 for storm door. Which means 1st guy was either not being truthful, or didn't know what he was doing. Day of install they brought the wrong door. Wouldn't go get my door, and told me I had to get at the back of the line for scheduling. I fought back and got a date the next week. That took about 5 phone calls. Ridiculous. New install day comes and they install and leave. I go to shut my entry door and the storm door makes it impossible to shut my entry door.They never bothered to test that. They had to come back and adjust. It's still really hard to shut that entry door but I've given up. Now the door is making a huge screeching sound whenever it opens. Earsplitting. Over a month until someone can look at it."

"Quite a few major renovation projects have been undertaken at our sixty year old home since moving in about eight years ago. Unfortunately, at first new to the renovation process, we ran into a couple contractors who left us with work that was done poorly or simply left undone. We got better over the years, but there were still a few hiccups. So, for this final major project (the replacement of fifteen windows in a much loved sun porch), I did my due diligence. Before even meeting with the salesperson, I checked Thompson Creek reviews for both the quality of the product AND the people. They looked good, but I still scheduled consultations with two other companies. Erin*, the salesperson, showed up on time and gave a thorough and impressive presentation. Was Thompson Creek the least expensive of the three companies consulted? No. The most expensive gave a similar presentation and windows seemed to be of similar quality. But scheduling the project was six months out. The least expensive of the three was not impressive at all. They didn’t even bring a sample window, and scheduling was four months out with this company. Thompson Creek set up an installation date approximately one month later. Initial measurements were taken by Erin, then a second person* came by several days later to double-check measurements for all fifteen windows. On install day, Moses* and his two other-workers arrived on time and got to work. Because the fifteen windows were in a single sun room on a first floor, the team was able to finish the job in one day. Before cleaning up and leaving, Moses opened and closed each window and showed me how to open windows for cleaning. A few weeks later, I noticed something odd about one window. It turns out there was a crack in the window that would grow longer in the next few days. Needless to say, I was quite upset. Shannon, my project manager, stepped in and got the wheels moving and this one sash was replaced. When the young man* came with the replacement sash, he said that the crack was probably a stress fracture. But he also reminded me that the cause of the crack didn’t matter. Thompson Creek’s warranty meant it would be replaced no matter what. Now, I wouldn’t wish a broken window less than a month after investing a good sum of money into window replacement, but for me, it helped me to realize Thompson Creek was indeed a reputable company that cared about its products and its customers. *BTW, every employee I came in contact with wore a mask for our entire interaction and was respectful of COVID rules. This was very important to me."

The windows open differently than our old windows and you can only open the top part halfway. To clean the window the latch will pop out the window. They never gave us an example of how the window opens and closes or how to do it to clean it. I figured the installer would do that. I would like to say that there was a customer service person who is assigned to each person and she got us all of the information we needed. She was very helpful during the process."

"Thompson Creek cancelled my installation appointment the day of, which was very inconvenient because I'd had a smaller window cut down and there was a large hole in my exterior wall. It was freezing that day, and I was disappointed that the company didn't prioritize my project given the circumstances. I was told that Ana Acevedo would call me to address this, but she never bothered. The caulking is also pretty sloppy, so overall my impression of the crew is not very good. The barrage of emails and calls asking for feedback is also the most aggressive I've ever experienced from any company. It's too much! This much effort should have been made on the project itself!"

"I have mixed feelings about the service provided by this roofing company. The initial home visit was positive, the representative explained the product information and explained what needed to be done to solve my gutter issue. However, the follow up discussion with the sales rep. who was to initiate the order was very unpleasant. He was dismissive and inpatient and proceeded to tell me that he was cutting into his time with his family—but he is the one that returned my call at 4pm! His attitude conveyed that he was doing me a favor rather than providing a service for which I was paying A LOT of money for—this was unprofessional and unacceptable. Fast forward to the day of the service, a supervisor came to see the work due to some unforeseen issues that were not visible during the initial estimate. To make sure the additional project was done well the supervisor promised he would come and inspect the final work once the gutter installers had completed the job to make sure the issue had been addressed adequately, unfortunately, he never returned to inspect the work. This is an especially egregious oversight especially for customers who are physically unable to climb roofs to do their own inspection, this supervisor should have returned as promised to certify the work. I am still waiting."

The crew took down the section of the lights that attached to the house without notifying me and when they put them back up they created two additional holes in the house by inserting two smaller screws where I initially only had one where the primary eye bolt was located. So I had to fix the problem by taking the string lights down again, re-insert the eye bolt properly, then hang the string lights again."
