My wife and I have wanted to convert our garage to a co-working space for some time and garage doors were first on the list. We found quickly that there are a lot of options and a lot variables as well. The folks at Plano Overhead Garage Door were friendly, knowledgeable and most importantly, they delivered. Couldn’t be happier with our new doors!

I genuinely do not understand how this company has so many five-star reviews. I called them out for a simple broken spring replacement. Before the spring broke, my garage door ran smoothly — no grinding, no screeching, no metal-on-metal noise. After their technician replaced the spring, my door suddenly sounds like it’s tearing itself apart every time it opens or closes. When I had them come back out, they immediately pivoted to, “It’s your old parts,” and handed me a quote to replace the rollers. Funny how that was never mentioned before or during the initial repair. No warning. No “hey, this might happen.” Just a brand-new problem followed by a brand-new invoice. So either the work was done carelessly, or this is a textbook upsell tactic. Either way, it’s unacceptable. You don’t fix one issue and create another — then try to charge the customer again to “solve” it. If this is how they do business, I’d strongly encourage others to get a second opinion before hiring them. I would not use Plano Overhead Garage Door again unless they actually take responsibility and correct the issue without trying to squeeze more money out of me.

Plano Overhead Garage Door was great; my second time using them for a repair. They were able to come by the same day when my garage door was stuck open. The technician Sean was great, answered my questions well and honestly. I like that they give me options and don't try to pressure or rush me into making expensive decisions. They do a great job.

They have beautiful garage doors. Everyone was very helpful every step of the way. Installation was great. Jarrod was so nice and he was a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend Plano overhead garage door. Professional from start to finish!

We bought our house brand new in 2020 & since then we had 3 visits from a separate company (I would name them, but I can't confirm if the name I remember is the actual one lol). They had come out to replace motherboards, adjust & grease wheels & etc etc . So when 3 days before Christmas we became trapped in our garage. I was frustrated I decided enough was enough we needed a different company. I am so glad we called Plano Overhead Garage. We assumed it would be after Christmas, but Greg Boshart was able to get us fixed that same week & basically transformed our garage door. Turns out it was the springs, but at our request he reviewed the previous work & made suggestions. Went right to work once approved & everything was done same day. Even with replacing the trim the previous company had damage. Greg was very professional & takes his work serious. The price for all the work wasn't crazy high for everything that was done, & definitely better than what the previous company would of charged. Our garage is the QUIETEST/SMOOTHEST it has ever been since we bought it & made sure to get a sticker so we could call them instead. Seriously it use to sound like a rattling aggressive thumping like any minute it would fall apart that you could hear all the way from the bedroom & now its so smooth my husband made me stand in the garage so he could open and close it followed by "listen listen do you hear that?, no? Thats because its fixed" They are legit, plus I love they have a PHYSICAL location.
