"The work was done with the previous owner of our home prior to us moving in. The work is solid, but we had a very challenging process with the inspection. The first inspection in May failed because we had not been sent permits for the work. Almost three months later (After posting the permits), I had to call 5-6 times to attempt to get a status on the inspection. Each time, I was told that someone would call me back because there was conflicting information in the situation...I never received a return call. I finally called in again here in late August and was able to talk with someone who could confirm that the county had passed the inspection at the end of July, and I was finally able to take the posted permits down."

"We contacted JES when we noticed water entering our basement during a heavy storm. The water appeared to be coming in around our French doors where a concrete patio had been poured. JES was able to determine that the water was coming up under the patio and seeping in under the doors. Their solution was to create a channel at the perimeter of our floor, connect it to a new sump pump (we originally had no sump pump) and install a new French drain which then connected to an existing drain. It has been approximately two years since JES completed the required work on our basement floor. Since that time we have had no problems with flooding in our basement. From time to time I will hear the sump pump moving water out of the channel and can see it flowing out of the drain in our side yard. It is very satisfying knowing that our new floors are safe from being destroyed by water."

"My kitchen floor (24 x 20 sq ft) was sagging. Have 3-4 ft crawlspace underneath it. JES Engineer explained what was needed, and construction/repair crew executed the plan just as it was proposed. The floor was stabilized with 12 steel jacks and some steel beams. Crawlspace was left in immaculate condition. Pictures were taken and shared throughout the process. This was a costly, but necessary, improvement to the home. It would be difficult to sell the property without this repair."

Brought bags of rock for french drain when I needed a truckload."

"Initially, I thought everything was done properly. I did request a service representative come in the May timeframe as I found a puddle in my crawl space. Joe and another man came and let me know that the people that installed the dehumidifier did not set it up properly, which Joe corrected. Additionally, the installers had put the two discharge lines up too high in the backyard, I requested they be re-positioned so that I could mow around them. Joe and the other gentleman performed that work as well. However, now one of the drains sits too low (it gets covered by grass, so I clear that) and the other, I am not sure what the issue is, but I now have standing water and the ground is completely saturated approximately 5 - 6' in front of the drain. I have been trying to get JES to correct this, they said they would, but it would cost additional money because they need to extend the line 30 additional feet, and there is a tree in the way. As the tree has been there for over 20 years, when the sales rep, Jose Amaya, proposed the work, he should have been able to ensure that the drainage would be functional. I have requested that they return to my properly and put that drainage line back the way it was before the initial repair in May."
