Max spent over an hour inspecting and measuring my home… I was surprised at how extremely thorough his inspection was. I had another company come out to give me a quote and all they did was look at the location where the problem was and do a quick walk around. Max explained everything in detail, he showed me a rendering of exactly what was going on along with photos of their process, he answered all my questions clearly, and their price was really reasonable for the amount of work they’re going to be doing. I would definitely recommend G.L.Hunt to anyone having foundation issues with their home. I am very impressed!

We had a great experience. So I called GL Hunt a couple of weeks ago and talked to Dixie Catingub who was helpful and was able to have someone come out and look at our house within a day or 2. Max Wells took measurements and talked me through various options. He did a great job. We ended up going with concrete steel hybrid piers after looking into the pros and cons of each system. The price was decent and we decided to go ahead with it. Becca Dodge helped me understand the payment options and was very thorough in her explanations and finding what would work best for us. She was in contact regularly and helped us through the process. They had good financing options to make things possible. We scheduled work for Friday and Saturday last week. The weather turned out to be an issue and CJ called us to reschedule for this Monday and Tuesday. CJ was quick in getting new plans in order. Kevin Padilla sent a crew out to do the work. The foreman was Jorge who was helpful and managed his team well. Leon on the crew was friendly and explained all the steps and processes they used when I asked him a few questions. I got to see each step and everything was explained well. They ended up having to do 5 concrete breakouts in our garage and 2 in the driveway which they were great with. They patched them up well. They also dug under a flower bed, but made sure to save the plants and the topsoil. Pictures are attached. The holes on the side of the house were covered properly and the whole site was cleaned up and done in the promised time. Overall it was a great experience and every step of the process went well. Frank Saragoza came out to give a free estimate, and he was professional, thorough, and helpful. He made sure to ask me relevant questions, and answered all of mine as well. His estimate was fair, and seemed honest compared to another company that had come out and offered a higher bid with far fewer options or explanation. Jaime Pineda Martinez' crew came out and they worked efficiently and courteously. Jimmy, the superintendent, kept me informed of discoveries that they made during the process and provided quality control. The team excavated carefully around utilities, and the work successfully corrected our foundation issues. We were able to finance our project with agreeable terms, and Dominique at the finance office was patient to answer all my questions. The team made a stressful home repair go smoothly.

This team did an outstanding job on my foundation repair. The crew worked efficiently and seamlessly together—they were clearly in sync throughout the entire process. Julian (foreman), Randy (lead), and CJ (supervisor) were all on site, ensuring everything ran smoothly while also taking the time to guide us through each step. They were especially thoughtful in handling my shrubs, carefully replanting them once the work was complete. The entire area was left clean and well cared for. I truly appreciate their professionalism and attention to detail.

Texted back and forth with them about an appointment. They told me there were availabilities I picked one. Turned out I was speaking with an AI. Then they put me on with a human which asked me all the same questions again and then stopped answering. I had to phone them (after having cleared my schedule because of the availabilities they gave me) only for them to tell me none of the availabilities were real: the AI had made everything up. Avoid at all costs. Edit: The sentence "Avoid at all costs" was excessive and was written in the heat of the moment: I was frustrated about the lack of AI disclosure, the lack of subsequent follow up and the lack of any attempt to make things right. The sentence should have been omitted from the review: I have not seen this company at work beyond how they interact with their customers. Accordingly, I have also edited the rating from 1 star to 3 stars. I was initially quite excited to work with G.L Hunt. Edit 2: A human reached out a couple days later and came out to do an inspection. We are satisfied overall and would recommend them happily. Changed rating from 3 stars to 4 stars.
