I had a great experience with Perry from Oliver during my recent heating system inspection. He was very professional, knowledgeable, and informative throughout the entire visit. He took the time to explain everything I needed to know, answer my questions, and walk me through the next steps so I could feel comfortable moving forward with the issues at hand. I never felt left in the dark or unsure about what was going on. I truly appreciate his honesty, communication, and professionalism. Perry is a great example of excellent customer service, and I would definitely recommend him to anyone needing HVAC service. Thank you, Perry, for making the experience a positive one!

Mike and Dan did an outstanding job of installing my new water heater. They took great care by laying down drop cloths everywhere and wearing booties in the house. They carefully explained every step in the process and showed me all of their work when they completed the job. It was a pleasure having them here and I highly recommend Mike and Dan as well as the enire Oliver team for all your HVAC needs.

We scheduled our annual heater cleaning which showed a clog in our heat exchanger. Oliver was able to order the part and return to install within a few days. All of the techs were professional and communicated well. I can't comment on the pricing as the work was done under warranty, and we also have a service plan.

Mike Jensen, a plumber from Oliver, provided excellent service. He was professional, knowledgeable, and easy to work with throughout the entire process. He took the time to explain what needed to be done, completed the work efficiently, and made sure everything was working properly before he left. He took the time to protect our hardwood floors during the job as well. I really appreciated his attention to detail and friendly attitude. I would gladly recommend Mike and Oliver to anyone looking for a reliable plumber.

Everything about the service was excellent. Arrived on time, work done right within the quoted timeframe at the quoted price. The technician, Tan, was very experienced, efficient, and courteous. He explained everything clearly and gave good information and advice for me to consider as I make plans to upgrade the system. My family has been using Oliver for HVAC, plumbing, and electrical work for 30 years, and they've never let us down. All departments are outstanding. Their people are great.

"We bought our Heat pump from Oliver 10+ years ago and were very happy. We have the system inspected twice a year and have been faithful to Oliver. Over the years, the quality of service has declined markedly. Last fall, my spouse called, explained our long relationship, asked for a spring inspection and asked about coupon that arrived in ValPak. The individual gladly scheduled an inspection. The young man arrived after dark, went to the basement, looked at the thermostat, and went outside to look at the unit. He didn't even have a flashlight! How could he inspect the unit in the dark? Nothing was inspected and nothing was tested. When my spouse asked for a written report, the young man said that Oliver doesn't give reports. (Look in my files and see the reports from prior years!) He then charged us $100 (the coupon was for $99, so they can't even be accurate). When we called Oliver, they said that the ValPak coupon was only good for exterior visual inspection. Really? Why were we not told that when we called for an appointment? Their files show that we have a full testing and inspection done twice a year - and they implied that is what we would get. We were told that the customer service person would call us back for a more complete discussion. No one ever called us. The firm has lost our business by being deceptive and non-responsive."

"There are so many positives that I can say about Oliver Heating Cooling & Plumbing. We have grown up with the company. We preferred the older technicians and generally speaking they are very well trained, and pleasant. They do their best. We compared them with other companies, and they covered everything. There were three main parts, and everything is honored under the warranty. My heater has already outlasted its time. The name is backed by experience. They don't give up on a problem."

"I probably would have given this 5 stars a couple years ago. What I have noticed is that I am no longer getting the highly qualified techs to do my maintenance. I'm not saying I'm dissatisfied as the last 2 techs who have been to my home were very courteous and respectful but I felt they were a rung below previous techs. I guess this is Oliver's way of competing with other companies who are offering cleanings for less than $50. I would continue to recommend Oliver to others but do have to tell you that what has kept me as your loyal customer for all of these years has been your reputation and knowing I would get high quality work done by exceptional techs. I have been willing to pay more for your incredibly high prices because I felt great about the technician doing my work but lately I am not seeing quite the same quality and it seems the techs coming to my home were not your better techs (although they were courteous and did seem to do a good job for me). If I'm paying high prices, I want the best."

"Oliver Heating Cooling & Plumbing did a tremendous job for me this past February. When my heat pump died they came out in the winter and worked. My previously company that I was loyal to for decades couldn't send a serviceman. I called Oliver and they came immediately and assessed the situation and in two days I had heat again. It was amazing. I thought they were remarkable. They came when my company couldn't."

"I ordered a toilet with this company. A worker came to do the job; however, he had to cancel and leave. I had to take off for the day they said they were going to do work and it still couldn't be done. The next time they came to do the job, they came with the wrong toilet. I ended up never getting a toilet from them. "

"We had issues with some of the work that was performed. It took several attempts to fix the one problem and I'm still not 100% convinced it's fixed."
MEDIA, PA Homeowner
"When the guy came, he was nice and did his job, but as far as the money part, Oliver did not explain to me that once I started service with them, that I should expect them to send me a bill for the upcoming year. In my mind it was a one time service. If they do already let people know that, they should emphasize it to make sure that people know."
SECANE, PA Homeowner
"There was a mix up in the pricing. I was told one thing over the phone and once the service technician got to the house it was different. They should have just told me the upfront price instead of giving me a low price and then raising it when they got to my house."

"They wouldn't perform work on my rental property unless I signed a contract, so I agreed to sign it; however, I never saw any follow up paperwork for that contract, and the guy left without the heating problem being fully resolved."
SCOTT D.

"Our main complaint as that when we scheduled an appointment, they gave wide time ranges and the guy showed up three hours after the time range, at 10 pm at night, and the was no phone call to tell me what they were doing. The communication and timeliness was a big turn off for me. There was a wide range in the technicians' knowledge for the heating/cooling system. It was a grab bag of what we were going to get for service. For maintenance check, we felt like such a low priority that I looked elsewhere."
