Beware! From reading other peoples comments, I can see that we all have had extremely different experiences with Harris. I chose Harris because of their 4.7+ star reputation and positive online reviews. Altogether, I paid about $13,000 for a tankless water heater install and electrical panel swap. I believed I was buying quality work in a seemingly solid company. I didn't simply expect professionalism, I expected excellence, but, thats not what I got. What I got was so dissappointing that it can only be described as disorganized chaos. Gas leaks, mislabeled electrical work, water leaks, multiple open HOLES(going from my basement through my siding), hot water issues, a failed inspection, and almost two months of nonstop back-and-forth. Communication was awful. Callbacks were missed, explanations constantly changed, and every fix seemed to create a new problem. My experience has truly been disappointing. The issues didn't stop there. After the job was finally competed, the township inspector failed the installation for issues that should never happen on a $7k job. He was the 2nd person that pointed out the inepitude of the first Harris Plumber. The person to point it out was Harris's own plumber- he not only said it multiple times while he was here, but also wrote it on our report. We had a total of 4 DIFFERENT plumbers attempt to come out and fix what the first one messed up( please see that attached pictures of 1st plumbers handiwork). We also needed the electrical crew to come back a 2nd time to fix their mistakes. (I found out my electrical panel was mislabeled because when the waterheater began to leak water over my electrical outlet, I attempted to shut off power to my basement and could not do so. I cant forget that this is all happening while we were also having a gas leak.) Everything was eventually fixed and did eventually pass inspection, but the amount of rework, confusion, and stress it took to get there was unbelievable. Don't even let me get into my experience with the office. All communication was documented with times and dates. For a company with such high ratings, this experience wasn't just below expectations- it was a complete failure of quality and competence. This company's continual desrespect to my time, my money, and my peace of mind has me beyond upset. Its encouraged me to warn others what they may be in for when they choose Harris to complete a job for them.

Special Commendation and Letter of Gratitude to the Harris Company & their Electrician: Chris Moles Management and Leadership Team at Harris, I am writing to express my deepest, most profound gratitude for your dispatch team and electrician Chris Moles under emergent circumstances that arose for myself and my family in our home late Sunday evening, unexpectedly. Your company did not just provide a standard service; your team stepped up with immense empathy to protect my family during a severe, life-threatening electrical emergency. I am a single mother of two small children (including an infant), and within my profession, I have no active income during the summer months. My power had been completely cut due to severe, hazardous wiring that posed an immediate fire risk. This happened unexpectedly on Sunday evening when an Atlantic City Electric crew happened to be on my street, spotted the imminent risk of severe harm or death, walked onto my property, and disconnected my service without warning while I was inside with my infant. The electrical technician (AC electric lineman) informed me that the danger to our home and livelihood was immense and had to be fixed by the very next day before power could be restored. When I first called your office the next morning (Monday), I requested to be put on an emergency list due to this imminent danger/risk of severe harm and catastrophic home damage, as technician availability was scarce. Within an astonishing 35 minutes, electrician Chris Moles called me to inform me of his location in proximity to my residential location (approx. 1 hr. away). While other companies downplayed the immediate emergency, focused entirely on high-cost repairs, and pressured me to take out loans for thousands of dollars—completely blocking me from even being able to try—Harris did not. Instead, Harris focused entirely on finding the most viable, practical alternative to immediately restore service and bring safety back to my home's electrical main mast line and wiring. Harris’ electrician, Chris, assured that financially, their team would do everything in its power to work within the confines of my limited available budget to correct the safety concerns immediately & restore safe, functional, electrical service to my home. Electrician, Chris M. eased my financial stress by providing me with an array of financial information that could assist myself in this situation with potential, high-cost repairs via various payment options offered by the company through a loan servicer, if-needed and displayed immense flexibility and empathy whilst attempting to remain within confines of my limited-budget, easing my stress and ensuring my safety and that of my family’s was the top priority for himself and his company, Harris. From the moment he arrived, Chris was the definition of professionalism and safety. He looked at my situation with pure empathy and worked diligently to ensure the necessary repairs could be completed safely within the limits of my strict emergency budget. Chris slaved tirelessly in the summer heat on a ladder. When he ran into unexpected complications—including a broken internal meter box and a deteriorating mast line going into the house—he took the extra time to gather the required replacement materials and did not cut any corners. He made sure every safety issue was resolved correctly the first time, including staying late to safely disconnect and isolate wonky, historical wiring left near the meter by previous residents. Chris told me, “I need to do it right—that’s why you called me here—I have to make sure it’s safe— and most importantly make sure you and your children are safe— and I can’t just leave you like that.” Chris M. is an incredible asset and a credit to your company. Please ensure his supervisors are made aware of this rare, high-character display of community care and professional excellence. With immense appreciation & gratitude, Chelsea L. & Family

Awesome. Came to replace my old water heater. Free consultation and were professional and kind. Explained everything in detail. Work was good and fast too. Fair prices. His name was Steven Hawk, and he was great. Also my cat liked him immediately, which is really rare since my cat is usually picky about people! Highly recommend. I’d go back for other stuff too.

This company is fantastic. I messaged them at 8:30 AM this morning about an issue with our air conditioning system and there was a tech at our home addressing the issue by 10 am. They were also very reasonably priced compared to many of the other companies we have dealt with. Our tech, Tyler, was very respectful, wore booties to protect our floors, and explained the issue to me in a timely manner. Would definitely use this company again!
