“I chose Kitchen-Update to remove my backsplash and resurface our large number of cabinets after interviewing 6 or 7 contractors. Unlike other contractors, they gave me an estimate simply by exchanging pictures through text; they didn't come out to see the kitchen. This method, paired with an extremely clear and thorough statement of work/invoice, made me feel this was an organization who knew their business very well and only put time into the important things - the work. They were very flexible with me on start date, as I wanted to delay the start until a time that I could afford be without a kitchen for my family of 6. Throughout the process, the communication and expectations remained extremely efficient and clear. As their estimate process shows, this is not a company that nickel and dimes their clients - they know their business well enough to have a clear sense of the time, labor, and materials that will go into a job, anticipate small setbacks, and work that into their estimates of both cost and time. They rolled with the small obstacles that arose through the process, finding high quality solutions to each one. My cabinets are GORGEOUS and I've received an endless stream of compliments on the work they did.”
