I can’t say enough good things about DFW Improved, who recently completed our primary bathroom remodel. From start to finish, the team was organized, professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely easy to work with. Our sales consultant, Debra Fitzhugh, brought a high level of experience and expertise to the project. She listened carefully to what we wanted, offered thoughtful ideas we hadn’t considered, and helped us stay within budget. We converted our old shower into a linen closet and transformed the old tub area into a spacious shower with double shower heads. The team also replaced the flooring, vanity, and countertops. Working with their designer, Tiffany, was an added bonus, and she absolutely nailed the timeless look we wanted. Our project manager, Cole Standridge, did an excellent job overseeing the project, coordinating the subcontractors, and keeping everything on track. We especially appreciated his attention to detail, as well as his patience and flexibility when changes came up along the way. Every subcontractor arrived on time, was courteous, and kept the work area clean and tidy. That level of professionalism really stood out. We are thrilled with the final result and would highly recommend DFW Improved! (first two pictures are before, second ones are after)

We used DFW Improved for our first major renovation in our home. From the time I first called in, to our final inspection, each interaction was friendly and thorough. We worked with Brian to price out the project and he was absolutely great to work with and addressed all our concerns. Tiffany was so good at capturing our style and helping with design. Our project manager, Joe, was organized, communicative, and always on top of every detail. The contractors for each part of the remodel process were held to a high standard and their work was excellent, especially the tile professional. Joe made the entire process feel smooth and stress-free, and the end result turned out beautifully. We really appreciated how easy he was to work with and would highly recommend him and DFW Improved.

We selected DFW Remodel to build a new pantry and remodel a Jack & Jill bathroom that is 40 years old and had never been updated. We were on a tight schedule and had only 6 weeks to complete both projects. DFW did a high quality job in every aspect of the project, including finishing on time and on budget and creating beautiful custom cupboards, drawers, and countertops using experienced contractors and employees. Our contractors were skilled tradesmen and tradeswomen who were proud to be associated with DFW. Overseeing the entire project was our Project Manager Cole Standridge. He is a professional in every sense, plus a reasonable and personable individual. He handled scheduling, material availability, and oversight of contractors. He was at our home nearly every day for 6 weeks where he verified the quality and completion of the prior day’s work and arranged for a variety of contractors to be available when they were needed for the next phase. This resulted in a smooth and predictable process throughout the project for us. We will definitely use DFW for future projects. They are simply the best.

DFW Improved did a fantastic job updating my home! They renovated my guest bathroom with new tub, tile, granite, sink and cabinet doors. They also enhanced the laundry room with new cabinets, granite, sink and doors on the existing cabinets. Plus they put new doors on all the cabinets in the kitchen and master bath. All of the cabinets in the house were painted beautifully in a soft sandy color blending with the granite. The work went quite smoothly and on schedule, thanks much to their diligent project manager Jon W. and all the talented artisans.

We did a pretty major renovation that included taking out a second staircase, flooring part of the two story foyer to create a desk area, totally tearing out the old kitchen to the studs, creating a new kitchen layout with all new cabinets and even moving drains in the foundation. DFW improved very efficiently had me discuss what I wanted with Heath, who was instrumental in getting the entire process started. He heard my concerns, tailored and amended the contract, as needed. I have worked with and ultimately dropped other contractors who would not budge from standard contract language. DFW improved scheduled a draftsman to plan out the spacing, coordinated with a structural engineer to ensure no issues, helped me design finishes, paint, etc. The work happened over the course of approximately four months. Lots of contractors came in and out with no significant lull in activity. Shane was the project manager who handled all of this. He’s great to work with. During the course of the renovation, I made changes, and Shane easily accommodated. It’s been about a year since the renovation was completed, and I can say I don’t think I would consider doing a major renovation without them. Heath contacted me recently to check up on things. I mentioned a light in the kitchen cabinet that wasn’t working. He connected me with Corey in the warranty department, who quickly scheduled an electrician to address the issue. DFW improved has handled everything professionally and promptly. They are not cheap for sure, but you definitely get what you pay for.
