Ahmed and his team performed a/c mini split and water heater installation in one day of hard work. Was a rainy day, and they kept the house extremely clean. All three were extremely courteous and helpful in explaining how to operate new equipment.

He was very professional, knowledgeable, and explained everything in clearly and in simple language from start to finish. UPDATE (June): Had an issue where one of the mini splits was dripping water out of the head. I shut off the mini split and called gold metal and within an hour, Andrii Ostapchuk showed up and helped completely resolve the issue with expertise and care for my unit and the property. Thanks Andrii ORIGINAL REVIEW: Absolutely blown away by the service I received from the Gold Medal team. I have a unique A-frame house that’s tall with sloped walls, and I had three mini split systems installed. Param and Ishan were true professionals who went above and beyond to make sure every detail was right and that I was happy with the final result. I have never experienced this quality of service before and I’ve done a lot of major work on houses and office building renovations over the years. From the start, I made it clear to them that I’m very particular about aesthetics, especially when it comes to the placement of wires, piping/drainage lines. They really took that seriously. They tucked the lines perfectly under the gutters and along the interior beams, keeping everything as flush and hidden as humanly possible. They also checked in with me before finalizing anything to make sure it all looked clean and intentional. On top of their technical skill and attention to detail, they were very respectful of my home, kept a clean workspace, and just are great people to be around in general. I felt comfortable the entire time and trusted them completely. Communication was excellent and they were always on time. The electricians were also phenomenal. Shoutout to Lance as well, who got everything started with a detailed walkthrough of the house. He clearly explained all of my options based on the unique layout and shape of my house and made sure I fully understood the financing side as well. The whole experience was smooth from start to finish. I thank Param, Ishan, Lance, & the whole Gold Metal team for their fantastic customer service! I will definitely be using them again for all sorts of things.

Overall just amazing service from start to finish Gold Medal exceeded the mark. First off a huge thank you to Shane Sweeny and his expertise in the sales process. He came out late on Saturday when our heat was down and we were surviving on workarounds and space heaters. Made the process smooth and as painless as possible. He went to bat for us and really helped us out. Our installers came out right on time first thing Monday despite the horrible cold 🥶. Ivan and his partner (sorry I missed your name) were extremely professional taking sure to communicate the process and keeping our home safe from any damages as they worked. They were very respectful and most importantly we have a full system in a day! Heating and cooling in just one day and my family is sitting comfortably again. Special shout-out to Jason for recommending the company!

I had a terrible experience with Gold Medal Service. In my opinion, what happened to me felt exactly like the type of thing I saw reported on Inside Edition — a company coming out, making the situation sound much worse than it really was, and trying to push unnecessary work. They came to look at my unit and made it seem like there was a serious problem that needed expensive repairs or replacement. After looking into it further, there was nothing actually wrong with the unit that justified what they were trying to sell me. It felt like they were trying to scare me into spending money I did not need to spend. That is completely unacceptable. People call HVAC/plumbing/electrical companies because they need honest help, not because they want to be upsold or pressured into unnecessary work. A homeowner should be able to trust that the technician is giving a real diagnosis, not using fear tactics to make a sale. I would strongly recommend getting a second opinion before agreeing to anything with this company. Based on my experience, I do not trust them and would not use them again. Be careful and do your homework before letting them talk you into a major repair or replacement.
