I contacted Perfect Home Services during a January cold snap because my furnace was short-cycling and not heating, and I needed same-day service. Scheduling required dealing with their clunky AI phone system, but to their credit, communication afterward was prompt and clear with regular text updates. The technician, Tyler Haines, arrived on time and was professional and thorough. He documented the issue with photos and explained that water condensation had damaged the inducer motor and pressure switch. However, the interaction quickly shifted from diagnosis to sales. I was repeatedly encouraged to replace my entire furnace because the repair would cost $2,500—despite the unit being only 11 years old. After “discounts” were applied, the repair price dropped to $1,791. Once I agreed, a new issue was suddenly identified: a small slash in an easily accessible PVC pipe that supposedly posed a carbon monoxide risk. Repairing this added another $693. The workmanship did not reflect the price, and the added charge conveniently brought the total back near the original quote—raising serious concerns about transparency. The repairs were completed the following day, by a different technician, Malcolm Davis, but within five minutes of the technician leaving, the furnace began short-cycling again. I called immediately, and the technician returned several hours later only to state—based on a “new” diagnosis—that the furnace now required an additional part it has never had, despite operating without issue for over a decade. I was told the part would need to be ordered, with no clear timeline. The technician drained water from the unit and explained that the furnace would run temporarily but would shut down again once water accumulated. I was assured I would be contacted with updates and that the repair would be completed once the part arrived. A full week has passed with no follow-up. After contacting the company again, I was told they would check with the warehouse and return my call that same day. No one did. I understand that emergency service during extreme weather comes at a premium. What is not acceptable is paying a high price for a repair that fails immediately, followed by poor communication and an incomplete job. Perfect Home Services failed to resolve the issue and failed to follow through. I am now out approximately $2,500, and my family has been left without dependable heat during a severe winter cold spell. Due to the unresolved issues, I am compelled to hire another company to complete the repair properly. Given the outcome, lack of follow-through, and overall experience, I no longer trust this company and would recommend taking your business elsewhere.

Tammer and Saeed came out from Perfect Home Services and rewired the humidifier to work and repaired 3 water leaks under warranty. Great skilled technicians, and it is worth using a reputable company that has great warranties and stands by there customers and work!

Technician came out for a furnace tune-up, he was great. Very friendly and professional, he explained everything he was doing and why. He vacuumed inside the furnace and wiped everything down inside and out, and cleaned the fire sensor which he said was the problem, but the furnace is still not heating the home to the set temperature. It's currently set at 76 but the temperature in the house is 71. It turns on for a few seconds and then shuts off, doesn't stay on long enough to heat the home. Problem not solved. UPDATE: 11/25 Technician returned and took his time to diagnose the problem He went through a checklist of possibilities until he located the problem, once discovered, he showed me, clean the part, reinstalled it and tested the furnace 4x, hooray it was repaired and worked like new. I want to give a special thanks to my technician Antonio 6P3. You did not give up until I was satisfied and I appreciate that, and because of that I will make your company my regular provider. Thanks for putting the customer satisfaction first.

Tammer C. was very courteous and explained the repair process clearly. He provided expert preventative tips so that I might maintain my furnace in good working order. Highly recommended. Five stars.

We have been doing business with this company for years and have always been satisfied. Since our last interaction we unfortunately have changed our minds. We had a tech come in to check our furnace and told us we needed a repair that would cost an exorbanant amount of money. The thought was to get a new furnace and AC. However, after going through applying for financing and given a quote that was 17k+, we looked around elsewhere and found someone who could do the job for less. When calling in to cancel the service, the representative said they would do the service for 7k less than the quote. Here is why we are no longer doing business with this company. When the tech was at our home we explained our situation, one of hardship. So he knew things weren't stable and secure for us. I feel taken advantage of and see the sale is more important than the customer. The experience feels dishonest and off putting. If we were quoted 10k job in the first place, we would be having our new furnace installed as I write this. We no longer plan to be doing businesses with this company or recommend them to friends and family.
