My husband and I had a new door put in to replace the old door in our basement. It looks so good and Robert who with his crew did an awesome job. Alco replaced our twelve windows, plus a sliding glass door and transom, in our fourth-floor condo (apartment) in Rockville, MD recently. Our experience with Alco --- from the meeting with their sales rep (David) to coordination by project coordinator (Jennifer) to their installation by Robert and team (one-day) and follow-up walk through (by Caron) --- was wonderful. The windows are in place, and although still very new, all seems as perfect as we had hoped. Most of all, the Alco personnel we dealt with made the experience a very happy one (not always the case with home improvement projects). We can't say enough about how impressed we are with Alco.

We had a major project on our house with siding, roofing and gutters needing to be done. Wanting to have one contractor take on the project to coordinate everything led us to interview multiple contractors to find the perfect fit for quality and price with Alco being the one we chose and very glad we did. David was great to deal with on the design aspect, quickly provided us design concepts to choose from and helped us choose something we would have never thought of. Also he was not a pushy person like some salespeople can be, which we definitely liked. On-site project manager, Brian, was quick to address any concerns we had during the construction. The workers were hard workers and did a great job too and not sloppy either. James Hardie has levels of experience for their installers and Alco is one of their Elite installers. You know you will be getting a good installation of siding with them. Overall we are extremely pleased with the outcome and very happy with the results!

I chose to replace the double sash, single pain windows of my early 1900s Home versus restoration. Restoration would have required putting boards in place for several months, and I chose to replace as it would take only two days. The crew that came by master fully took out the original windows and storm windows. They installed the new windows and put an aluminum vinyl siding around each of the windows. The new windows were anchored into the empty frames and then expanding sealant was sprayed in all around. Before installation, I noticed that the window hardware was not the correct color, though Alco coordinated the replacement as it clearly was a mistake done at the factory. Fortunately, Marvin windows makes it easy to replace the hardware. Their sales, project coordinators and crew made it into an overall seamless process. Even with the hiccup of hardware, it was handled professionally.
