Great Sales, Nightmare Execution $10k for three windows and seven months of headaches. I wish I could rate my experience based solely on my salesman, Noah—he was a 5-star professional. Unfortunately, every step after the purchase has been a steady decline. It seems this company pours all its resources into sales and leaves the actual installation and service to flounder. The Installation (June 13, 2025): I paid $10,000 for just three windows, expecting premium quality and "white glove" service. Instead, I found out they use third-party contractors rather than in-house installers. They chipped my wooden windowsill, dented my corner bead on my drywall, and left a layer of dust across my entire home that took days to clean. When I reached out to resolve the damage, communication completely stopped the moment I asked for compensation for the repairs because i didn't want them sending out another contractor. Service Issues (July 5, 2025): Shortly after, I noticed sunlight streaming through the reveals of two windows while they were fully closed. I bypassed the unresponsive office and went back to Noah, who got an "in-house" tech out. This technician was incredibly abrasive and rude. He tried prying the frames with a crowbar and shimming them, then told me “that’s as good as it gets.” When I refused to accept that, he finally admitted the windows needed to be re-installed. The Re-Installation (August 28, 2025): They sent the original contractors back to fix the mess. Because they weren't being paid for the rework, they were visibly unhappy and aggressive. They actually questioned why I didn’t "notice the problem sooner," making for a very uncomfortable environment. I had to take time off work because my wife didn't feel comfortable being alone with the aggressive tech they previously sent to our home. The Final Straw (January 6th, 2026): Last night, during the high winds in Lafayette, the screens rattled so loudly they kept us awake until I had to remove them around midnight. Summary: For the price of a Renewal by Andersen product, you expect perfection. Instead, I got poor communication, rude service techs, and windows that still aren't right. Save your money—go with a cheaper window and a company that actually employs their own installers.

Renewal by Anderson put in a new sliding glass door for us and if you don't think and sliding glass door can change your life, you're wrong! I can't believe how quickly it was installed and how good it looks. While I realize no door is perfect this one is as close to perfect as a sliding glass door can get. Our first slider put in by our builder, was supposed to be great quality but it bowed inwards when the wind picked up and it clattered and creaked. We had to brace it during high winds. Well, the Anderson door has been installed for just over week now and it has experienced so very strong winds. It hasn't bowed inwards, it doesn't clatter, it doesn't leak air. We had a second door installed before the Anderson door and it was a huge mistake. It transferred cold and leaked cold air like a sieve. The new Anderson door is beautiful. They finished the interior very nicely. It doesn't leak or transfer cold and it has cut down on wind and road noise. I wish we had just gone to Renewal by Anderson immediately. I'm so grateful I can sleep at night now without fear the door will blow in, without creaking and clattering, and with reduced wind and road noise. Thank you!!

Wow… Renewal By Andersen. The only thing I can say is worst experience in my entire life for the money. Job is still incomplete. Their communication is terrible. They want you to think that they’re going to get the best experience and you were buying the Porsche of windows. Doesn’t matter how good the window is when the installer screws up the job or the product is damaged. We are well past a year and a half and our job is still not done. The ability of the staff to communicate timelines that are accurate is not possible. I got a text today from “Sam“ he was the gentleman to measure the windows. He didn’t even remember I was a customer and then our job was still incomplete and the installer damage to window during install. I question the competency of this company. Two sliding glass doors two windows, Easy right? Second sliding glass door didn’t come for more than a year. Oh yeah and it was damaged the first time. Master bed sliding glass door install, the installer didn’t even bother to seal the aluminum threshold plate to the structure. Do over! Explains all the dust that blew in. See photos. Master bedroom window. Damaged during install. What, is that outside? See the photos. I don’t know, judge for yourself look at the photos I think they’re incompetent. Oh yeah custom windows, with an inch of foam around it….how custom is that? Maybe if we just stack a few more shims in there it’ll fit better….. if I was you I would turn them away and buy any other window on the market… Saran wrap is available at your local grocery store. LOL. But in all seriousness if you want to spend an S-ton of money and have the worst experience of your life sign up with Renewal By Andersen. You too can experience what I did.

This company is terrible to work with. The product is not worth the money. The install was horrible as well. The installers were going to take the old windows and reuse them. The demo, I was sold that the Renewal windows were more efficient, but I have tested, and these windows are no better than the builder grade windows. I spent a lot of money for nothing. The windows are constantly breaking, and difficult to use. I have had service repairs multiple times. I have communicated my concerns, and no resolution has been given. DO NOT use this company.

Some guys I’m talking to said their moms had a less than ideal run in with Andersen. Having a hard time because I can’t relate. However, my mom did have a run in with Dale. He was an alcoholic and they don’t see each other any more. This is probably all for the best…. 1/5 stars
