“The crew that was sent did a great job covering what the sales person told me. The customer representative who came and looked at the original job failed on a lot of things. To this day, the job is not really complete because I have a window draft that was not supposed to happen. The North facing windows were not sealed properly. There were some things that were not finished because the crew that was sent over was too small for the job. I asked the gentleman for a big crew because I had to leave that day by 4:00 PM, and I had to cancel my weekend plans and my time was ruined. They were sent with incomplete materials that were needed because one guy said it was not needed, so they did what they could to cover your company and make it look good. I was not happy.”
“Our experience with Power began with a sales meeting in September, during which we explicitly asked whether the work would be completed by Power employees or outside contractors. We were clearly told by the salesperson, Jose, that Power did not use contractors and that all crews were direct Power employees. This was one of the primary reasons we chose to move forward with Power. Unfortunately, we later discovered this was not true. When the gutter crew arrived, it was immediately clear they were contractors. They arrived in their own vehicles and did not present themselves professionally. The gutter and fascia installation took two days, and the completed work was extremely poor. Metal scraps, nails, bolts, and debris were left all over our yard—an especially serious concern because we have small dogs. We spent roughly 30 minutes cleaning our yard after the first installation attempt. We also learned that the gutter crew was the same team installing our soffit and fascia. The workmanship was unacceptable: the fascia was not flush against the soffit, corners were rounded instead of square, and there were visible defects everywhere. Despite this, the crew attempted to have us sign off on the work and begin our warranty, which we found completely unreasonable. After calling Jose, he came out to inspect the job and agreed that the work was unacceptable. Power then sent a single individual to “fix” the issues, but the language barrier made communication extremely difficult, requiring phone translation apps. After his work was completed, we again had to spend another 30–45 minutes cleaning the yard—this cleanup was even worse than the first time. The fascia still had ripples, kinks, and large gaps in the angle cuts. By this point we were extremely concerned about moving forward with the window and door installations. Ultimately, a third crew was brought in, and they redid all the fascia around the house. However, there is still one unfinished piece in the backyard that we are not satisfied with. The project manager, Sal, told us he would be on-site when the work was completed to personally approve it. He did not show up. Instead, we received a call from him later asking us to finalize the job. This entire project has been a frustrating, stressful, and inconvenient experience. The only positive part of the process was the window and door installation crew, who did an excellent job. We requested multiple times to speak with a manager regarding our concerns, but no one ever called us back. At this time, based on our overall experience, we would not recommend Power to family or friends. We have pictures of all the unacceptable work and the mess that was scattered around our yard.”

Despite sales folks saying things like “are you sure” and “we’d never want anyone to make a pressured decision,” the strategy of offering limited time discounts with a hard decision point at every contact and prolonging each visit with many offers and a long sales pitch is off putting. I would completely recommend Power for their product quality and installation services, but would hesitate to recommend to a friend or relative simply because I wouldn’t want to subject them to this sales strategy. Power’s product and service is good enough that they would do better as a business if they’d leave off the manipulative sales tactics.”
