Renewal by Andersen installed a door and storm door at my home. Their representative also gave me a quote on a window replacement. The Renewal by Andersen rep (Luke Townsend) showed me a quote for the window replacement on his computer. I was interested. However the rep did not provide the quote in writing. After several requests the rep finally sent the window quote via email. The email quote was about $200 higher. When I asked why the written price was higher, Luke said he'd made a mistake. When asked if Renewal by Andersen would honor his original quote the answer was no. The rep (Luke Townsend) said it was his mistake and had nothing to do with Renewal by Andersen. Sadly this Renewal by Andersen employee doesn't understand that when he walks into my house as a representative of Renewal by Andersen he is in fact Renewal by Andersen itself. Any reputable company would have honored their quote! There is something seriously wrong with the culture at this company!! I've experienced several issues with the door and storm door. First the latch color of the storm door didn't match the color of the other doors. The installer didn't notice till I pointed it out. The latch was replaced (under warranty), but failed shortly there after . Second there was sunlight coming through the main entry door side. Fixed, but not done right the first time. Since the storm door latch failed so quickly with very little use, I anticipate the latch and perhaps other failures. I also anticipate some out of pocket expenses eventually for an already expensive product. Just the price of doing business with Renewal by Andersen and their representative or their non representative. Who knows? Luke certainly doesn't.

We had a great experience start to finish. During install, they were so kind, made sure to keep our space clean and Alex did an amazing job. Customer service has been wonderful as well.

I can't say enough great things about Devin and Nick, who got through installing my sliding door today for my backyard entrance. They worked their butts off, having to cut, trim, cut, trim, hammering in the boards. My house is pretty old, so you know nothing in this house is easy to measure and cut. Kevin and Devon didn't get frustrated, tackled this old house, and did a phenomenal job. They respected my home and took their shoes off, covered up the area where they would be working, and cleaned up as they worked. I saw Devon vacuuming as Nick was chipping away at the concrete, and swept all the debris away. I would love to have these two guys back for my next project.

Consistently sends solicitors to my neighborhood knowing it's a "No Soliciting" area. There are signs at every entrance yet all of these solicitors seem to be blind. It's no wonder why they walk through all of our yards! When we confront them about the signs they say "Well, our boss sent us here." Grow a spine and think for yourself. Door to door sales is dead, go find another job. This company also consistently emails, calls, and sends junk mail to my mailbox which I then have to THROW AWAY! I consider this littering at this point. It's out of control. Is it not enough that you are at every event in town? Rethink your marketing strategy and maybe go digital like everyone else. I'll take my review down if you remove me from every single list you have to call, email, mail, and knock on a door to harass.

As stated in many other reviews, Renewal by Anderson is officially at the bottom of the list of companies I would ever go to if I wanted service done. I get the mailers constantly, so I'm well aware of what services they provide. There is no need to send pushy, obnoxious salespeople door to door. Like other reviewers, I have a clearly posted "No Solicitors" sign on my door. Apparently, their salesperson thought it was still fine to ring my bell. I clearly stated that I was not interested in buying anything, and he took that as an invitation to insist that he wasn't trying to get me to buy anything -- he was just trying to schedule a free estimate (so that *they* could try to get me to buy something.) If I want a service, I will seek it out. If a company has to send out salespeople to bother folks in their homes, they must not be able to get enough business via honest means, and they clearly aren't capable of hiring people who can read or interact in a reasonable manner, so there's no reason I should ever want to work with them.
