Super happy with the system and the installation. Mike was super communicative, was here on time and worked hard and was detailed. He kept in touch with me over the whole process and made sure to clean after himself. He paid attention to little details and made sure he checked everything before leaving.

After speaking with multiple water filtration companies, I decided to set up an appointment with Leaf Home Water Solutions. I met with Dabbie and Dexter Lewis on a Saturday afternoon. I was finishing an appointment with a Puronic’s representative and Dabbie told me to take my time and finish the appointment. After about 15 minutes, they came in and began the appointment. One thing that I have to say about Dabbie, she was not the least bit threatened by my previous appointment because she believes in the products she is selling. During the initial appointment, Dabbie could see the hesitation on my part and made sure that she answered all my questions. A couple of days later, she even took the time to do a three way call with my Dad to address any additional questions and concerns. After a little back and forth, I decided to purchase a whole house filtration system with salt and the UV light. I wish Leaf would have provided a year’s worth of salt like the other companies I spoke with. However, I guess you cannot get everything. After a couple of hiccups, on 2/26/25, Paul completed the install of the system. Paul was extremely helpful and took his time to make sure that he did the job correctly. He made it a point to show me when he completed each stage of the install. I had reservations regarding the aesthetics, but he made sure that the piping was not as intrusive or obstructing. He spoke with my Dad regarding suggestions, and they even had a call on FaceTime. I wanted to use the system for at least 30 days because I wanted to provide an honest review of it. I do not think it is fair to give a review if you have only had it a day or two as things can happen later. You do not realize how you normalize having and using hard water. However, there are pros and cons to having the system. I am not going to do an extensive list, but touch on a few of the main ones. At the end of the day, I am pleased to say that I am happy with my water filtration system. Pros 1. Clean water 2. Soft Water – it feels like you have lotion in the water. 3. My skin and hair condition have improved. 4. No longer having to purchase bottled water – saving $800 - $1,000 per year. 5. The R/O system does not assume valuable real estate under the sink like other systems. Cons 1. Small decrease in water pressure – informed as a possibility during the install. 2. Takes longer for the water to get hot. 3. The R/O system digital output takes up to 30 seconds to get below “20”. I am wasting thirty seconds of water each time I use it. See attached video. 4. Additional future costs – I know I have to buy salt for the system, but I did not realize that filters are needed for the R/O system and refrigerator system (Note: I did not buy the refrigerator system) and you will need a maintenance plan after the first year. My friend has a different water filtration system, and it cost over $400 each visit. She did not have a maintenance plan so I think the maintenance plan will be worth getting.
