Oscar did an outstanding job setting up my spring turn on! He was very thorough at inspecting my sprinkler system. He greatly helped with ensuring my sprinklers did not water my street, like last year! Thank you Oscar, hope to see you in the fall!

This was our second visit from Hydro Tech this season. At our first visit with a different technician, the irrigation system was not set to run, and there was no explanation about how our system was working, so we had a second visit scheduled. Abel came for our second visit and he was very thorough. He reviewed the irrigation in all of our zones and made all the necessary adjustments. He informed me about what adjustments could not be made and what he’d recommend against. He also reviewed how the rain sensor works and how to create an appropriate irrigation schedule on the app. I really appreciate his patience with my questions and attentiveness when going through our system. He was also the one who initially set up our irrigation system a few years back and I am happy he provided a detailed refresher on it.

Great service from Hydro-tech Irrigation today. Segundo, called ahead to let me know the time he and his team would be arriving. When they arrived, he explained the service he would be performing and completed it quickly, checking all zones and adjusting rotor heads as necessary. During the process he identified a valve leaking and repaired it on the spot. Additionally, I explained a problem I was having connecting my Wireless network to the controller and linking it to my phone app, he walked me through the process of connecting my new WiFi password to the controller and I was connected immediately to my phone app. Segundo was very professional, knowledgeable and answered all questions I had. I would definitely recommend Hydro-tech for your Irrigation needs. Hank

We have been using the Hydro-Tech system for 8 years now and would highly recommend them for your irrigation needs. The fall/spring checkup always goes smooth. They have a good service plan. Repair charges for any damages is reasonable. We have had 2 small repairs in 8 years. The techs that service the home system and phone support are professional and knowledgeable. The app makes changes to the schedule effortlessly. The best part, NO more dragging a hose !!

I have been a HydroTech customer for four years. They installed my irrigation system, and until this spring, my experience with them was excellent. The technicians have always been courteous, knowledgeable, and professional. In fact, the technician who came out for my spring turn-on this week was great. He was friendly, efficient, and even identified and fixed a sprinkler head issue on the spot. Unfortunately, the company’s scheduling and customer service appear to have gone sharply downhill. I prepaid for my spring turn-on last November when I paid for winterization. I assumed that prepaying would help secure a reasonable spring appointment, but when I contacted HydroTech to schedule, the first available date was not until mid-May, roughly 6–8 weeks later than I expected. I called more than once, but was told there was nothing they could do. I accepted that as a lesson learned. The bigger issue came after the turn-on. Two days after HydroTech reassembled and activated the system, I noticed a significant drip coming from the brass backflow preventer/connection that had been handled during the service. I contacted them immediately by phone and text. When they called me back the next morning, they scheduled the repair for June 10, a full three weeks after I reported the problem. I tried to explain that this was not a routine repair request, but a follow-up issue from work performed just two days earlier. That did not seem to matter. I do want to be clear: the field technicians are excellent. My issue is not with the people doing the hands-on work. My issue is with management, scheduling, and the lack of urgency in correcting a problem that occurred immediately after their service. This is my first one-star review, and I do not post it lightly. After four years as a satisfied customer, I am genuinely disappointed. Based on this experience, I would recommend that homeowners consider other irrigation companies before relying on HydroTech for ongoing service.
