Kevin short was my project manager for my siding job. He was very efficient and made sure all my needs were addressed visited my property frequently to ensure the project was on pace to be finished in a timely fashion. Very intelligent young man and would recommend this project manager to anyone looking for great service. The crew worked very hard and they listened to me as well. I truly appreciate them going out of their way to take care of my needs. Rodney was excellent with correcting the issues had as well. Overall great experience!

Home Genius came out on Saturday for an estimate Andre was great very knowledgeable A week later Monday began installation of siding it took 2 days. Project Manger Jeremy was great. Sean from the work crew was great. We had one problem where the HVAC line was punctured. Repairs by HVAC company repaired next day. We came to mutually satisfactory resolution to the additional cost to project. The siding is beautiful good workmanship everything thing cleaned up. Would definitely recommend this company

Overall, we are happy with the results. The new roof looks great. Our issues dealt with managing expectations. 1) When the rep visited us (Gage), one of the biggest selling points for us was the fact that the yard would be protected above & beyond a 'typical' roofing job. The picture in the briefing showed a tarp slide that would have protected the plants and reduced the debris and plant destruction. When the crew arrived, they barely tarped one section of the front and back, totalling about 25% of the yard. Debris, however, surrounded the entire house. Some plants got damaged. They did clean up when all the work was done. 2) There was a language barrier. The workers showed up as scheduled, but were unable to answer questions we had. The foreman (Kevin) was working multiple locations, and didn't show up until the early afternoon. I was able to text him, but it would have been good to have an English speaker at the very beginning. 3) The project took two days, not the planned 1 day. When the crew was done, they just departed without a word, and no final walkthrough. 4) We had debris in the house from when the skylights were worked on. We had not anticipated that, and had to clean it ourselves. Also, two of our yard lights were broken. That may have been avoided had the yard been tarped the way we had expected. 5) We still had a lot of nails and debris that we picked up with a magnet after the project was done. Again, overall, the job got done, and the new roof looks great, hence the higher score. The demotes point is because we expected a different experience with respect to the yard, but it felt like it was handled the way any other roofing company does business. Last, we had a great follow up meeting with Darryl, and he worked with us to rectify the issues we listed.

Experience: The workers arrived and started working. They didn’t knock or ring the door bell, kept to themselves, which was not expected, but not the worst thing. AJ did call me about 50 minutes after they arrived to inform me they were on site to begin. They were quick and respectful of my property, however once the work was done they once again left without saying anything. AJ called again shortly after informing me the workers were finished and the siding trash would be picked up tomorrow. The siding trash was placed in a pile, but there were other pieces of trash around my yard including a Pepsi bottle, lots of nails, and some wrappers. As stated, the trash was collected the following day in a timely manner but the scattered trash I collected myself. I did make my presence known to the workers when they were there but they did not introduce themselves or speak to me. There was a language barrier. Some people prefer that, others don’t, this was just my experience. The whole back side of my house was completed within a day. They were able to work with me on the price as well as they did not want to loose my business because their original price estimate was out of my price range. Overall, good experience. All things considered, a little trash isn’t a big deal to me and the work was nice. Project quality: The old siding was a mess and needed replaced. This was not like a porch project, there was not any creative details to be checked as the work progressed, I just needed new siding. I did however needed custom cuts to line a brick staircase and they did so beautifully. The siding work itself looks clean and professional. No warped pieces, cracks, scratches, sliding or loose pieces. The only issues are the sealing around the pieces are obvious and sloppy looking and the windows are a little wonky looking around the edges. Both are small cosmetic issues and don’t bother me to much, however if that is something you believe would bother you, I suggest you examine the work before the workers leave so they can adjust as possible before the sealing sets. You may need to make this clear before the project date that you would like updates or a quick inspection before the crew departs. Overall, I feel like I purchased a service and was not included in the project. There were no updates from the workers, no quick inspection before they left site, minor trash pieces left, and a few cosmetic spots. However, the work is professional, the job was quick, AJ kept me updated as he could with arrival and departure of the crew, and the majority of the trash was collected. If you’re trying to be apart of the project for whatever reason, I suggest requesting that prior. Would have liked a final walkthrough but the language barrier would have made that pretty much useless I’m sure. Otherwise, if you prefer to be left alone and just want the area repaired, then this was perfect. I’d use their service again.

2nd review following completion of vinyl siding installation: After completion of the vinyl siding on the house, I would not change my five star review. The house looks great, I would say the best on the street right now. AJ and his crew did an overall fantastic job. There were a few hiccups - delay in completion due to incorrect amount of special order material, some communication issues with the installers - but all in all it went great. Any issues that did arise were addressed/corrected. 1st Review: We used Home Genius to intall a new Provia front entry door and couldn't be happier with the outcome. The two installers were professional, pleasant and knowledgeable. Steve especially was very proud of his craft and paid special attention to every detail. The PM Jeremy kept us informed on the project before install. It was not inexpensive but as the saying goes, "You get what you pay for."
