“I had another contractor over to do some work and give an estimate on a new roof. Their estimate was very expensive and they also caused a leak on the roof after removing a satellite dish improperly. They came out and allegedly fixed the issue, but they did not do anything. I had been in contact with Tom Petrilli about an additional quote on the roof and I immediately called Tom for assistance with the leak. Tom had a team out within 24 hours to patch the roof before I even entered into a contract with Lyons for the roof replacement. The attentiveness and service from Tom was fantastic. I have already recommended Lyon and Tom to 3 or 4 additional neighbors.”

“Lyons Contracting did a great job replacing our roof. We have a flat roof on a rowhouse in suburban DC and they did a very good job replacing the old roof with a TPO covering that provides great reflectivity of sunlight, keeping the house cool during the summer. We received several estimates and theirs was competitive. Lyons was also able to perform the work far sooner than some of the other companies: within several weeks as opposed to several months. The owner is a straight shooter and will tell you what you need or don't need.”

“My initial experience with Thomas at Lyon's was so overwhelming positive and professional I did not bother to get any other quotes. I was impressed by every aspect of their performance from the excellent web site to the amazing responsiveness of Thomas via chat and email. Thomas provided a timely quote and kept me informed of the status every step of the way. I've never worked with a contractor as responsive and professional as Lyons. Materials were delivered as promised and the crew showed up on time and put in a 12 hour day. The team was professional and courteous and outstanding in cleaning up the job site. Thomas provided pictures of the roof before the work to highlight specific areas, noticed the chimney needed repairing first and recommended a contractor and then provided pictures of the work in progress via chat. After experiencing a leaky roof last year Tom came out quickly, inspected our roof, and took videos of the problem areas to show us the issue. We received several estimates and Tom's proposal was competitively priced and definitely the most thorough. The finished roof looks great and Tom's team did a great job cleaning up. I've since contacted Lyons about replacing my old sunroom roof (Tom convinced me not to replace it and suggested a DIY solution), had them install gutter guards, and move a bathroom vent. Highly recommended.”
