From the start Alex! Most informative person I could ever ask for. Tony, over seen my job from the suppliers to making sure I was happy after the install. We’re very pleased with our new siding! Rob and crew did an excellent job getting our new siding installed! They were very professional and attentive to details. And when a minor problem came up after the installation, they were very quick to come out and make it work out. I’d highly recommend Home Genius!

Home Genius was awesome to work with from the knowledgeable Salesperson (John M) to Product Delivery, to Professional Installation (by Alex and his team) and Adam's Follow Up. We had all of our movable windows in our 33-year-old home replaced with NEW energy-efficient, double-hung, double tilt-out vinyl windows … huge change and I won’t have to worry about the much-needed exterior painting this Spring! Five Stars 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

We had been planning a siding replacement for years, and finally had the time and finances to get it done. The installation itself was great with a professional and courteous crew. We did have some issues with our original PM, but after expressing our concerns to Home Genius, everything was addressed to our conplete satisfaction. Adam was phenomenal and fully addressed our concerns. I could not have asked for a better experience with their customer care and Adam's personal follow-up.

I signed a contract with Home Genius Exteriors on 05/29/2026 for a full roof replacement and gutter installation at my home in Lake Toxaway, NC. The total contract amount was $32,792, financed through Aqua Finance. After reviewing the contract carefully, I identified several serious concerns: 1. The flat roof section carried only a 2-year workmanship warranty, inconsistent with the "lifetime" warranty represented during the sales visit. 2. Only 8 sheets of plywood were included in the estimate for my roof. Materials for wood damage replacement that was clearly visible and vocalized to the sales rep was not included— a number that is mathematically insufficient to cover the deck and damages. Additional wood is billed at $6.01/sq ft for the plywood and $15/ sq ft for slat decking plus labor costs, meaning I faced potentially $3,500–$4,500 in unexpected upcharges. 3. When I raised these concerns, I spoke with Regional Director Alex, who verbally promised a "change order" can be submitted so the flat roof warranty would be changed to lifetime and that all additional wood costs would be covered by the company. When I asked for these commitments in writing on a new contract, he dismissed the contract terms as "just contract language." but would send copies of the change orders. 4. Most concerningly, Alex gave me a hard deadline of 1 day to make my decision — despite my contract explicitly granting me three full business days to cancel under the Notice of Cancellation provision. His reason was "It is the end of the month. I need to wrap up this sale for my numbers". Pressuring a customer to waive their legal cancellation rights is a serious violation of consumer protection standards. I am exercising my right to cancel this contract within the legally specified window and am submitting this review to document the high-pressure tactics, misleading warranty representations, and the attempt to override my contractual cancellation rights.
