“James A. Wheat & Sons does good work, and they are punctual and neat. They handled the plumbing on a master bath remodel. I have nothing but positive regard for their technicians.”
“Very professional, made sure there were no leaks to enhance the A/C efficiency was optimal.”
“At first there was confusion on how to proceed but I contacted the company who sent out a senior plumber who completely changed the game plan and it worked out fine.”
“The actual service work was done well; only one issue required a return trip, but it was taken care of. The biggest issue was with the front office; from not receiving callbacks when told I would, to trying to charge me more for something that was already included in the original quote. Once the manager got involved, all front office issues were quickly resolved, and I received a nice email from him regarding the disposition of my situation.”
“The repairman evaluated a water heater failure. He was able to isolate it to an electrical part and replace it. He partially drained the water heater. He came to the house when he said that he would. He repaired it without the cost of replacing the entire water heater.”
“Wheat provides all our plumbing and HVAC needs. They were at my mom's house within the last three to four months checking out a leaky air conditioner. Each contact has been with a very professional and friendly individual.”
“He fixed the garbage disposal that was jammed and not turning on. It was positive, quick, polite, and resolution oriented. And he gave me two options for resolving the issue. ”
“The technician, Herbert, is great at explaining my system and the work that needs to be done and why. I have used other companies, but none compared to the professionalism of James A. Wheat. Every time I have needed service, the entire process was positive.”
“Everyone I spoke to was extremely professional. When they performed their assessment of my unit, I felt they were thorough, and they walked me through the process. Everyone I spoke with and/or met was extremely professional. ”
“As I recall the work, it had to do with a leak to the clothes washer. They replaced a defective part that corrected the basic problem. More important perhaps, they pointed out a problem within the washer itself that was more the cause of the wet floor. The problem would require the service of the manufacturer which was not thought to be necessary at this time. Care in starting the washer has eliminated the internal leak. The technicians did not press for their correcting the washer problem. ”
“Over time, they have responded to emergency calls when pipes have leaked or been ruptured due to construction. They have replaced toilets and provide a yearly inspection. They are responsive to emergency calls. ”
“James A. Wheat & Sons replaced a kitchen faucet and two bathroom faucets. They also repaired a leaking pipe under the kitchen sink. The technician was very thorough and did an excellent job with the repair and replacement of the faucets. He left the areas spotlessly clean and was very polite.”
“They came to investigate a water leak after a pipe had burst during the winter. Two guys arrived, looked through the property, identified where the leak was, and provided an estimate for the fix. They were very prompt and efficient in performing the work and telling me what the problem was.”

“The plumbers from James A. Wheat were responsive, well-trained, and respectful. They did what they said they were going to do and did it well. They've done a couple different things. They did work on the water heater, and the quality was good. The workers were knowledgeable and conscientious. I've used them several times over the last four or five years. They're good folks.”

“I had a positive experience. They showed up when they said they were going to show up, they did good work, and they were very neat in performing that work. They converted our heating system from oil to natural gas, replaced the furnace and hot water heater, and installed a gas line. When I got home, it was perfectly fine. They finished in a reasonable amount of time. It's only been a week since they came out. It was the first time I'd used them, and I'd use them again. I'd give them an A.”

“They take care of our furnace, the plumbing, and the air conditioning every year. The last time they were here, they were checking out the air conditioning, which was fine, and they took care of a small problem, and it is still working. They are probably due to come soon to check out the furnace, but they haven't come yet. They finished the work in a reasonable amount of time. I have no problem with the quality of the work. I've been using them probably five years. They arrive on time. They are conscientious about setting up their appointments in advance, and I have no problems with the work they do. I would give them an A+.”

“It was a very positive experience. They come in when I ask. What I like about them is they told me some of the things that I could do—they didn't say I had to do everything. I liked how they gave me a list of things of importance, how they explained what needed to be done and what was higher priority. I'd give them an A+. I've used them several times, and I'm always happy with their work.”
“They do fine. I had a positive experience. Whenever they've come here, they've done a good job and fixed whatever it is. I know that we've got a contract with them, and they check to make sure that everything's all right. We've been using them for quite a few years—probably ten years. I'd give them an A+.”

I really do love having Wheat & Sons as our plumbers. I've been with them for years, and I'd give them an A rating.

Everything that we asked them to do, they did, and there have been no problems since then. They did a pretty good job. We had some leaking in a couple of bathrooms, and they worked on the shower and our kitchen sink. The workers were nice and polite. They also were hardworking and conscientious. I would use them again. I was happy with them. They're an A+. They did what I wanted them to do, and we didn't have any problems afterward. They were efficient, and we were pleased.

James A. Wheat & Sons came out to do work for me. They've been our plumbing and heating contractor for years. They did their regular service check on my air conditioning and plumbing, and they're always prompt, reliable, and pleasant. I have used the company for about ten years. I keep using their service because of their reliability, and it's easy to work with them. They're an A+.

They came out for two things—a plumbing repair and an estimate. I would give them an A. I thought they were pleasant, and they did a good job. We haven't had any issues, and their follow-up on the estimate was good. Overall, I think they provided a good-quality service from beginning to end—from scheduling to service to the follow-up.

I've called them a couple times. Recently, I called them because I had some plumbing trouble in the basement's bathroom. They spent a lot of time looking at it, and they got it fixed. This is the second time I've used them. The first time I used them, they fixed my A/C unit that wasn't working. The quality of their work was very good. Everything has held up well so far. I haven't had any problems with anything that they fixed. The workers who came out were good and professional. They finished the work in a reasonable amount of time, and I would use this company again if I had the need. I'd probably give James A. Wheat & Sons an A.

I use James A. Wheat & Sons for plumbing. I have a furnace in the basement, and there was water dripping from a joint inside. They were able to fix it for me. I had a leak in the pipe by the sink, and they fixed that, too. I had a problem with my toilet, and they fixed that. They're definitely an A+. They do a great job. I always ask for the same plumber, because he understands that I live in an 80-year-old house, and some of the plumbing is 80 years old. He knows everything, and he's able to fix it. He's very knowledgeable, and he can also tell me what to expect when you have an older sink in the house so that you can help it last for a while with the right maintenance.
