Middle of heatwave my AC started blowing hot air. My home warranty was like no problem! We'll get you scheduled. They got me hooked up with a company over an hour away and would be able to come out in a week and a half. I couldn't wait that long. I have a senior dog and work from home. I called Hutchinson on a Sunday (my coworker suggested the company) and they scheduled me for that Tuesday. Fun surprise Monday morning at 7am, the next day, got a call they had a cancelation and could come that day between 10am-2pm. Was told they might be pretty expensive and honestly thought they might just tell me they can't repair and I have to get a new unit (it's honestly super old and original with the house). The gentleman that came was very friendly, was not pushy and wore those shoe coverings. He said the fan is looking good, walked me thru some things and it was the capacitor that needed replacement. The rust on the one I had he wasn't able to tell much about it but had one in his truck to try. Switched that out and the cold air started flowing. It was $99 to come out/ diagnose and the part was at the higher end of cost.. but to worth it not have the house feel like 99 degrees.

I was extremely pleased with the service I received. When the service technician, John Hancotte arrived, my toilet was clogged and would not flush completely. From the beginning, he was pleasant, professional, and kept me informed of every step throughout the repair process. This turned out to be a difficult problem that required several hours of troubleshooting and a great deal of extra effort. Rather than giving up, John Hancotte remained patient, methodically worked through the issue, and he ultimately diagnosed the tricky problem. John worked tirelessly until the repair was completed and the toilet was functioning properly again. I especially appreciated John's attention to detail, persistence, and positive attitude throughout the entire visit. His dedication, expertise, and good humor made a challenging repair much less stressful. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a knowledgeable, hardworking, and professional service technician and will most definitely use his services in the future. They truly went above and beyond under some of the toughest working conditions imaginable. In intense heat and humidity, they spent hours working in the cramped, stifling crawl space beneath our house and excavating the yard to locate our service line connections. Despite the challenging conditions, they remained focused, quickly identified the cause of our toilet problem, and replaced the necessary piping with skill and precision. Their professionalism, expertise, and dedication were outstanding from start to finish. They took pride in their work, kept us informed throughout the process, and made sure everything was working perfectly before they left. If you're looking for a plumbing team that is knowledgeable, hardworking, and committed to doing the job right—regardless of how difficult the conditions—they have my highest recommendation. Highly recommend Johnny Hancotte from Hutchinson! Our kitchen sink/drain was completely clogged and filling up our sink with water. He arrived on time, assessed the issue, took the time to clearly explain what he planned to do and walked me through multiple quotes/possible outcomes upfront before starting any work. He fixed the issue quickly, did a very thorough job, charged a very fair price, gave recommendations for upkeeping the sink drains going forward and was incredibly personable throughout the entire visit. I had my kids with me and he couldn't have been nicer. Truly an all‑around great experience — I’d absolutely call him again and recommend him to others!
